Onda has until Monday to find a builder for 6 homes tendered at 1.2 million excluding VAT

That single job makes up 73.6 per cent of whatever still takes offers in the Plana Baixa comarca, 1.63 million across six tenders. A further 12.97 million, eight times that figure, awaits a company while its offers are assessed, and 10.02 belong to Belcaire Sur, in Moncofa. In Chilches/Xilxes a home runs out of bidding time on Thursday and Vila-real hosts three of the six freshly incorporated companies.

Six works stay on offer to builders, 1.63 million at stake, and four close before Friday

• Monday is closing day for Onda's 6-home tender. The construction of 6 homes on Calle Portal de Valencia remains in licitación, a public tender, in which companies bid to carry out works or a service, until Monday 5 October. It was tendered at 1,200,000 euros excluding VAT, that is, before VAT. Every amount in this edition is given that way, excluding VAT and as a tender figure. That single job is 73.6 per cent of everything the Plana Baixa comarca has open to offers.
• Borriana, Tales and la Vall d'Uixó also close before Friday. That same Monday the deadline expires in Borriana for the children's play equipment and calisthenics parks, with 111,287 euros. On Tuesday 6 the window ends for the roof of the Mancomunidad Espadán Mijares headquarters, in Tales, with 58,649. A mancomunidad is a grouping of town councils that provide a service together, such as water or waste collection. And on Thursday 8, the one for the remodelling of Calle Sanchis Tarazona in la Vall d'Uixó, with 44,166. With Onda, that is 1,414,102 euros in four days.
• Veo brings the only deadline opened this week. The improvement of the pelota court and leisure area of Veo, in Alcudia de Veo, went out to tender on 30 September with 127,626 euros and takes offers until 20 October. It is 2.6 times the other new item, the paving of a street in Aín, of 49,587 euros, which for now is a prior notice, that is, the council gives warning of the works but is not yet collecting offers.
• Alfondeguilla accepts offers until the 13th. The access to the municipal swimming pool and the casal jove, with 88,488 euros, stays open until 13 October.

Moncofa is still weighing who will finish Belcaire Sur, tendered at 10.02 million, and Borriana and Ribesalbes settle two contracts

• Avenida Tarancón's storm drains now have their company. The storm drain network of Avenida Tarancón, in Borriana, with 926,875 euros, is listed this week as resolved, that is, the tender is over and the contract has been closed, on the Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders for works and services. The company is BECSA S.A., a public limited company that also appears on the already resolved works at the Vila-real industrial area, of 195,963 euros. Between the two, 1,122,838 euros.
• Ribesalbes resolves its municipal storehouse. The contract to roof and enclose an existing building and turn it into a storehouse, of 156,124 euros, appears as resolved with the limited company Latra 2010. It is the week's other resolution.
• One builder is on record in two resolved works. PAVASAL EMPRESA CONSTRUCTORA S.A.U. is listed as the company on the development of execution unit B-2 in Borriana, of 994,462 euros, and on the resurfacing of roads in the town and at the beach of Moncofa, of 501,119. Together they come to 1,495,581 euros.
• Eight contracts stand awarded or resolved by now. They were tendered at 7,250,188 euros and the largest is the refurbishment of the Casa Consistorial of la Vall d'Uixó, of 4,173,472 euros and with NEALIS INFRAESTRUCTURAS, S.L.U. as the company after the award, the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work. The list is completed by the municipal dining hall of Almenara, of 213,467 euros, and the facilities for the bull festivities of Onda, of 88,707.
• Belcaire Sur heads the 12.97 million awaiting a company. The completion of Belcaire Sur, in Moncofa, tendered at 10,018,372 euros, still has its offers under review. At that stage there are 7 contracts in the Plana Baixa comarca for 12,973,484 euros, eight times what takes offers today. They are also the health centre of the Puerto de Borriana, of 1,652,804, the Plaza Constitución of Moncofa, of 743,802, the square next to the Casa de la Cultura of les Alqueries, of 218,186, the 204 niches and 6 graves of the la Vall d'Uixó cemetery, of 162,421, and in Borriana a house museum, of 157,080, and a technical assistance contract for works, of 20,820. The Artana-Les Voltes track, in les Alqueries, of 74,456 euros, and the site management of a works project in Onda, of 51,913, closed their deadline on 1 October.

Chilches/Xilxes keeps four bidding days on one home, after Moncofa closed premises of 120 metres

• Four further days of bids remain for the Chilches/Xilxes home. The auction, a public sale ordered by a court, is still taking bids on the Portal de Subastas, the BOE's official website where courts and public bodies auction property and anyone who registers can bid, and closes on Thursday 8 October. The BOE is the Boletín Oficial del Estado, Spain's Official State Gazette, which publishes laws and official notices. The notice does not give the metres of the home.
• Moncofa closed one premises on 1 October. The premises, of 120 built metres, closed their bidding window on 1 October. The Zaragoza comarca gathers 16, the most among the 21 with an edition this Sunday.

Vila-real adds 3 of the 6 new companies, with hospitality, property and artificial intelligence

• A Vila-real hospitality firm puts in 15,000 euros. The BORME of 30 September, the Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies, capital changes and closures must be published by law, records the incorporation of LOS TRES OLIVOS R&O, to run cafeterias and bars, with 15,000 euros of capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company, not its turnover. That day an asset-holding company to buy, manage and let property is also registered in Vila-real, with 10,000 euros, and on 1 October ETHIRIO INTELIGENCIA ARTIFICIAL arrives, in programming and IT consultancy, with 3,000.
• Chilches/Xilxes gains a builder. BLUEPEAK CONSTRUCCIONES 2026 is born on 29 September with 3,000 euros to put up residential buildings and civil works, just when six tenders in the comarca are taking offers.
• Betxí and Ribesalbes are the remaining two. MRS LABORIS, in tax and accounting advice, is incorporated in Betxí with 12,000 euros, according to the same gazette of the 30th, and PRODUCCIONES TUCAN RIBESALBES, in shows and events, does so in Ribesalbes with 3,000, according to that of 1 October. That makes six companies, one fewer than the 7 of the previous week.

Nules calls two sports grants, while the Generalitat opens a line for rural women entrepreneurs

• Nules publishes two sports calls for 2026. The town council entered in the BDNS, the Base de Datos Nacional de Subvenciones, the National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants, a convocatoria, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, for the municipality's sports organisations and another for its elite sportspeople. Both run by concurrencia competitiva, an award in which applications are compared and the best-scored ones receive the grant. In Onda, the school materials subsidy is for the town's infant education centres.
• Valencian farming opens a line for women entrepreneurs. The Conselleria de Agricultura calls grants for entrepreneurship in the primary sector for women who live in rural municipalities of the Comunitat Valenciana. The Generalitat also publishes three sets of rules for forestry interventions (one of them), those for municipal emergency plans and those for school transport and canteens.
• The Diputación de Castellón takes money to Sueras and Eslida. These are two agreements with the recipient already decided, one to equip the municipal gym of Sueras and another for Eslida to buy a plot. The Diputación, the provincial council, which mainly serves small towns, also calls a competition on equality and the UNED Senior scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year, from the UNED, the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, the National University of Distance Education, Spain's state-run public distance-learning university. They are 13 of the 22 entries the BDNS added in the week, the ones that touch the comarca.

From 26 September to 3 October, the Plana Baixa comarca saw the pelota court of Alcudia de Veo put to tender, with the paving in Aín announced, while Onda, Borriana, Tales, la Vall d'Uixó and Alfondeguilla keep offer deadlines open. Borriana and Ribesalbes resolved two works, Moncofa and les Alqueries have offers under review and Almenara, a resolved municipal dining hall. One Chilches/Xilxes home has bidding left until Thursday 8, Vila-real, Betxí, Chilches/Xilxes and Ribesalbes registered companies, Nules called grants for sport and Sueras and Eslida receive provincial money by agreement. Artana, la Vilavella and la Llosa contribute no works, bid or company registration.
