Hospitality businesses and young farmers in the Plana Baixa have new Generalitat grants

The six grants open to applications
  • A programme for hospitality. Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, the regional tourism agency, has opened the Bono Hostalería 2026 programme, under the Plan Endavant, published in the BDNS, the national grants database, on 22 September. It is of interest to hospitality businesses in all twenty municipalities of the district.
  • Young people setting up as farmers. The Agencia Valenciana de Fomento y Garantía Agraria, the regional agricultural agency, has opened grants for young farmers and new farmers setting up, published on 24 September, for anyone starting a farm.
  • Sport, culture and research. The Diputación de Castellón, the provincial council, is opening the Pla Extraordinari + Esport 2026-2027. The Institut Valencià de Cultura has opened grants for the performing arts and for documentaries on traditions and craft trades, and the Conselleria de Educación, the regional education department, the Plan GenT 2027 to hire researchers.
  • The rest are not open to applications. The other 18 are direct awards and agreements already signed, such as those of the Diputación with the Universitat Jaume I or that of the Town Council of la Vall d'Uixó with Manos Unidas.

Bidding for a 120-square-metre unit in Moncofa closes on 1 October as seven companies get going

Where the seven companies are born
  • Two properties up for auction. A court is keeping bidding open for a commercial unit of 120 built square metres in Moncofa, until 1 October, and for a home in Chilches, until 8 October.
  • Seven companies in six municipalities. From 21 to 24 September the BORME, the official companies gazette, published the incorporation of seven companies in the district, two in Onda and one each in Moncofa, Vila-real, Borriana, Nules and la Vall d'Uixó. The one with the most capital is ONDA TRASTEROS Y MOVILIDAD SL, with 20,000 euros, for storage, furniture storage and vehicle hire.
  • Three look to construction and housing. IBERATLAS MATERIALES SL is set up in Vila-real for the full renovation and maintenance of homes and buildings, and ABRATEK DIAMANT SL, in Onda, to trade in building materials and industrial supplies, both with 3,000 euros. A company in la Vall d'Uixó combines fruit growing with buying, selling and letting property.
