One rail job of 3,831,593 euros outweighs seven contracts without a firm put together in the city of Palma

7 October 2026. The Palma comarca has eight contracts with bidding closed and no company chosen. Of their 7,542,768 euros excluding VAT, 51 per cent sits in the electrical substation at the Son Rullan railway workshops. Builders can still reach three open jobs, together 2,583,496 euros excluding VAT. Of that, 85 per cent belongs to EMAYA, which is refurbishing its Son Pacs vehicle workshop and closes on 19 October. Buyers have two auctions closing today. For food security there is a grants call of 1,340,000 euros.
