PIMESA tenders 45 subsidised homes in San Antón and building each one is budgeted at 93,308 euros

PIMESA, the Elche city council company that builds subsidised housing and develops land and premises for businesses, has that block in tender, with bids admitted through 26 October inclusive, and it also comes with a commercial unit plus a basement of 44 parking spaces. The figure is construction cost, not sale price. The tender goes out at 4,198,877 euros excluding VAT, well over seven times the combined sum of the four other new tenders across the Elche comarca. Another 11 works are pending a contractor, one for 94 days. Two Elche city homes, of 96 and 90 metres, close their auctions on the 13th and the 14th, and Santa Pola opens until 20 November awards of 10,000 euros for entrepreneurs.

PIMESA seeks bids for 45 subsidised homes in San Antón, tendered at 4,198,877 euros excluding VAT

• PIMESA commissions a whole block of subsidised housing in one go. The municipal company published on 30 September the tender for the works on 45 subsidised homes in San Antón. It is a public tender, in which companies bid to carry out works or a service. It is tendered at 4,198,877 euros excluding VAT, that is, before tax. That makes 93,308 euros of works per home, and the amount also covers a commercial unit, a basement of 44 parking spaces and the internal site works. It is construction cost and not sale price. Bids are accepted until 26 October.
• The block is worth seven times the four other new tenders combined. The 5 tenders published since 28 September add up to 4,762,988 euros excluding VAT. The other four, from Elche city council, are the play areas for children, until 28 October, and until the 19th the roofs of a swimming pool and of the Pabellón de La Hoya, the Altábix study room and the court at the Polideportivo El Toscar.
• The hospital and Santa Pola keep two works above one million euros open. The Elche comarca has 11 works tenders with an open deadline, tendered at 9,507,474 euros excluding VAT. Still running are the refurbishment of the intensive care unit of the Hospital General Universitario de Elche, tendered at 3,018,964 euros excluding VAT, until 23 October, and the Villa Adelaida gardens in Santa Pola, tendered at 1,077,568 euros excluding VAT, until the 14th. The same hospital has already closed the deadline for the refurbishment of its delivery rooms, tendered at 2,223,232 euros excluding VAT.

Two Elche city homes of 96 and 90 metres close their auctions on 13 and 14 October

• The first, with 96 built metres, closes on Tuesday 13. A court is auctioning this home in the city of Elche, of 82 usable metres. Anyone who registers can bid on the Portal de Subastas, the official BOE website where courts and public bodies auction property. The BOE, the Boletín Oficial del Estado, also publishes the laws. In its building, from 2008, the median CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, is 158,364 euros, against 216,251 in the municipality.
• The second, with 90 built metres, ends on Wednesday 14. This other home in the city of Elche, with 77 usable metres, is also still taking bids. Like the previous one, it is a court auction, a public sale ordered by a court. Its notice does not identify the building, so there is no CasasValue.
• In Santa Pola the bidding is already over. The 72 metre home, with a patio of 12 according to the edicto, the official notice of the auction, no longer accepts bids. In its building, from 1968, the median CasasValue is 171,329 euros, against 182,662 in the municipality.

INVOLUCRA will extend the Nuevo Cementerio in Santa Pola, works tendered at 809,671 euros excluding VAT

• The Nuevo Cementerio Municipal in Santa Pola gets a construction firm. The extension of the cemetery, tendered at 809,671 euros excluding VAT, appears this week as concluded, meaning the tender is over and the contract is closed, in favour of INVOLUCRA. The company also appears in the car park next to the Policía Local headquarters and in the 2026 pavements of the city of Elche. The 3 works were tendered at 1,710,132 euros excluding VAT.
• Schools and tennis courts learn who their contractor is. With the cemetery, 5 contracts now have a company or have concluded. The shade sails for several schools in the city of Elche go to the company Toldos L&l, the two tennis courts in Santa Pola to ASFALTOS AMARO and the flooring of 9 classrooms to INELSA INGENIERIA INFRAESTRUCTURAS. The fishing boat of the Museo del Mar in Santa Pola appears as concluded with no company published.
• Peña Águilas has been awaiting its sewer since July. There are 5 works under assessment, meaning the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company. The largest is the Peña Águilas and Llano de San José sewer, from Aigües d'Elx, the Elche city water and sewerage company, tendered at 1,539,119 euros excluding VAT. It closed to bids on 27 July and has waited 70 days. The roof of a nursery school has waited 94.
• The restoration of La Merced has its deadline closed. The restoration of the Convento de la Merced, tendered at 8,348,037 euros excluding VAT, is the largest of the 34 works contracts we follow in the Elche comarca and its deadline is closed. So is that of the regeneration of the Polígono Industrial de Carrús, tendered at 216,584 euros excluding VAT.
• School toilets in Santa Pola remain without a firm. In Santa Pola, the toilets of the Ramón Cuesta state school, tendered at 249,874 euros excluding VAT, and the roof of the Pabellón Virgen de Loreto, at 64,421, have a closed bidding deadline and no company published. In the city of Elche the same goes for the recording of archaeological remains, at 52,913, and the fencing of a municipal building, at 40,662.

Six of the 18 companies born in the Elche comarca work in property, renovations or building

• Eighteen newly created companies reach the companies gazette. The BORME is the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies, capital changes and closures must be published by law. From 28 September to 5 October it records 18 incorporations in the Elche comarca. Together they total 54,168 euros of share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company, which is not turnover. Of them, 14 are born with exactly 3,000 euros and none goes above 4,000.
• Property, renovations and building attract six of them. 2020 ACTIVO INVEST brokers property sales and ASPRILLAS RURAL lets property. AISLABROS LEVANTE installs insulation and constructs buildings. GRUPO SORIAN PERICIAL is a broker with 2,000 euros of capital and LA BUFA LA GAMBA does bricklaying and renovations with 3,165. NOVERIA GESTION PATRIMONIAL, from Santa Pola, combines letting, buying and selling, and development.
• Bars, cars and footwear complete the list. Another 3 are in hospitality and 2 in vehicles, among them LEVANTE OCASION, from Santa Pola, the largest by capital at 4,000 euros. MUCHOMASQUEPIEL, in leather and footwear, is the only one from Crevillent, Santa Pola adds 3 and the city of Elche 14.

Santa Pola shares out 10,000 euros in awards for entrepreneurs , with applications until 20 November

• Santa Pola puts up 10,000 euros to reward its entrepreneurs. The Premios Santa Pola Emprende 2026 were published on 1 October in the BDNS, the National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants. Their total budget is 10,000 euros and they target small and medium-sized companies and people with an economic activity. The deadline ends on 20 November and the rules are on the online office of the town council.
• Farming businesses started by women get a Valencian regional call. The Conselleria de Agricultura published on 2 October the convocatoria, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, for entrepreneurship by women in the primary sector, for residents of rural municipalities in the Comunitat Valenciana. Which municipalities count as rural, the amount and the deadline are in the linked record.
• The other ten are not calls for applications. Out come 5 bases, the rules that precede the call, for school transport and canteens, for municipal emergency plans and for 3 forestry lines (first, second and third). Another 4 already have a recipient, 3 direct grants to associations of designers, of fashion and of advertising, and one to the Federación de Personas Sordas de la Comunitat Valenciana. The last is the participation in the consortia of the area waste plans.

From 28 September to 5 October, PIMESA launched the tender for 45 subsidised homes in San Antón and in Elche (Elx) the city council opened four more tenders, with the intensive care unit still within its deadline, the Mercedarian convent closed to new bids and two home auctions that end on the 13th and the 14th. Santa Pola learned which companies will extend its cemetery and build two tennis courts, keeps the Villa Adelaida gardens and the police headquarters tender open, was left with no active auctions, added three companies and opened until 20 November its awards of 10,000 euros for entrepreneurs. Crevillent registered one leather and footwear company and the period data hold no tenders or auctions for it.
