The Elche comarca has 11 open tenders worth 9.58 million, 4.2 of it for 45 subsidised homes

The Elche comarca has eleven public tenders worth 9.58 million euros, VAT aside. A trio closes this Tuesday 13th, and until the 26th the council's public housing company is seeking a constructor for its subsidised block of 45 flats in San Antón. Two flats in the city of Elche finish their court bidding on the 13th and the 14th. Nineteen new firms declare 158,661 euros of capital. LABORA is offering 2026 grants to women who work for themselves.

The Elche comarca offers 9.58 million across 11 public tenders and a trio shut their doors this Tuesday 13th

• Elche city council redevelops two streets and modernises the Altábix study room. The Junta de Gobierno published on 5 October the redevelopment of Andrés Torrejón and Antonio Flores streets, out to tender, a public competition in which companies submit bids, until 26 October for about 144,000 euros excluding VAT. The smart transformation of the Altábix Municipal Study Room, published on the 1st, updated on the 5th and tendered at about 80,000 euros, takes bids until the 19th. Both are on the Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders for works and services.
• Subsidised homes and an intensive care unit add up to 7.22 million. The block of 45 subsidised homes on Calle Obispo Cubero, in San Antón remains open until 26 October, from PIMESA, the Elche city council company that builds subsidised housing, tendered at 4.2 million euros excluding VAT. The full refurbishment of the UCI, the intensive care unit of the Hospital General Universitario de Elche, tendered at 3.02 million, takes bids until the 23rd. Together they make up 75.3 per cent of the 9.58 million the Elche comarca has open. PIMESA is also selling until 31 December its plots, commercial premises, offices, homes and garages.
• Three deadlines end this Tuesday 13th and one on Wednesday 14th. Closing on Tuesday are the pavement maintenance for the urban and rural districts (about 269,000 euros excluding VAT), the refurbishment of the Santa Pola Policía Local headquarters (198,000) and the demolition of a building on Calle Ginés García Esquitino (111,000). Wednesday is the deadline for the remodelling of the Villa-Adelaida gardens, in Santa Pola, tendered at 1.08 million and eligible for FEDER funds, the European Regional Development Fund.
• Swimming pools, courts and playgrounds complete the list. Open until the 19th are the Esperanza Lag swimming pool and the La Hoya sports hall, tendered together at about 134,000 euros excluding VAT, and the El Toscar sports centre court, at about 64,000. The children's play areas renewal stays open until the 28th, at 285,600 euros. Crevillent has no open tenders.

INVOLUCRA appears on the pavements, the police car park and the cemetery, with 1.71 million tendered

• The 2026 pavements now have their constructor. The 2026 pedestrian public spaces contract, tendered at 371,900.83 euros excluding VAT, is listed as resolved in the 5 October update, with INVOLUCRA, S.L. as contractor. The same builder appears on the temporary car park next to the Elche Policía Local headquarters, tendered at 528,559.64 euros and updated on 17 September, and on Phase III of the Nuevo Cementerio de Santa Pola, at 809,671.10 and updated on 1 October.
• INVOLUCRA holds 1.71 of the 2.26 million tendered with a published company. The three INVOLUCRA contracts add up to 1.71 million excluding VAT of the 2.26 million tendered in the 10 contracts in the Elche comarca that the Plataforma de Contratación shows with a company. These are tender amounts, set by the public body when it opens the competition, with no final price published.
• Seven other companies share the rest. Together, about 550,000 euros. TOLDOS L&l S.L. is listed on the tensioned sails for schools (226,213.05 euros excluding VAT), Eiffage Energia on the hot water at the Palau d'Esports of the Universidad Miguel Hernández (104,173.44) and ASFALTOS AMARO, S.L. on the two tennis courts at the Andrés Baile grounds, the Monsa, in Santa Pola (77,361.26). TEDITRONIC is installing the Clot de Galvany sensors for Aigües d'Elx, Elche's water and sewerage company.
• The Elche general hospital resolves the delivery rooms contract. The full refurbishment of the delivery rooms at the Hospital General Universitario de Elche, tendered at 2,223,232.34 euros excluding VAT, is listed as resolved in the 8 October update: the tender is over and the contract has been closed, with no company published yet, as with the boat at the Museo del Mar de Santa Pola.

Eleven works besides the Mercedarian convent in the Elche comarca, 11.38 million together, have no builder yet

• Bids for the Mercedarian convent remain under review. The restoration of the Convento de la Merced, tendered at 8,348,036.80 euros excluding VAT, closed its bidding period on 1 October and remains under assessment: the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company. At the same stage are the Peña Águilas and Llano de San José sewer network of Aigües d'Elx, tendered at 1,539,118.58 euros, and the adaptation of traffic black spots, at 666,460.78.
• Carrús still awaits a landscaping firm. The landscape regeneration of the Carrús industrial estate, backed by IVACE, the Valencian Institute for Business Competitiveness, tendered at 216,584.41 euros excluding VAT, no longer accepts bids. Nor does the recording of archaeological remains between Avenida de Candalix and Calle Nuestra Señora de la Cabeza, tendered at about 53,000 euros.
• Santa Pola has school toilets plus a pavilion roof pending award. The toilets at CEIP Ramón Cuesta, a state infant and primary school, tendered at 249,873.90 euros excluding VAT, closed on 30 September, and the roof of the Pabellón Virgen de Loreto, at 64,420.77, on the 29th. Five more works wait in the city of Elche, from the roof of CEIP Miguel Hernández to the awnings at the Rafael Bonmatí park in El Altet.

Two flats in the city of Elche, of 95 and 90 metres, seek a bidder until Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th

• In the city of Elche, a 95-metre home takes its last bid on Tuesday. A home with 95 built metres in the city of Elche takes bids until Tuesday 13 October in a court auction, open to anyone on the portal of the BOE, Spain's Official State Gazette. Its building dates from 2008 and its median CasasValue per home, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, is 158,364 euros.
• The second, at 90 built metres, finishes on the 14th. The other auction in the city of Elche takes bids until Wednesday the 14th and has two lots. The first is a home with 90 built metres, according to the edicto, the official notice of the auction. The second lot is detailed on the BOE portal.

A consultancy in the city of Elche puts in 100,000 of the 158,661 euros of the 19 new companies

• SF 360 GROUP starts with 100,000 euros of capital. The BORME of 9 October, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies must be published by law, records the incorporation of SF 360 GROUP SL, a management consultancy. Its capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company, is 63.0 per cent of the 158,661 euros of the 19 companies in the Elche comarca registered in the BORME from 5 to 9 October: 14 in the city of Elche, 3 in Santa Pola and 2 in Crevillent.
• Second and third place go to an Artek holding vehicle and a software newcomer. GRUPO CORPORATIVO ARTEK HOLDING SL, a holding company, starts with 9,900 euros and HOLMES PREDICTIVE SPACE SL, which will develop software under its own patent, with 3,750, according to the BORME of 7 October and the one of the 6th.
• Letting, sales and refurbishment gain new company names. BONALVIE HOMES SL will buy, let and manage property, and another letting and sales firm registers on the 7th. MISMAS REFORMAS SL will refurbish homes. Crevillent gains MUCHOMASQUEPIEL SL, in leather and footwear (BORME of 5 October). The city of Elche gains FLY PARK ALC SL, for road transport services, and ALC CARS RENT AND PARKING SL, for car hire. Santa Pola gains NYMA NAVAL SOLUTIONS SL, for shipbuilding (BORME of 9 October).
• Two grants, one for women running their own business and one for Crevillent pupils. Self-employed women wishing to stay in business can apply for the 2026 LABORA grants, from the Valencian Employment and Training Service of the Generalitat. In Crevillent, the town council is holding a school Christmas card competition.
