Only Elorrio, of 14 town councils, registers grants this week, 36,500 euros in two days, 9,000 for the young
In the Duranguesado comarca, Elorrio town council is the only one of the 14 to register grants, three in two days, two of which are for its young people, for rent and for travel to their studies, and can be requested until 8 November. Ermua adds a housing construction firm that starts life with 3,000 euros, the lone newcomer among companies this week, after three in the previous one.
Young people in Elorrio have 34 days to apply for 9,000 euros towards rent and travel

- Elorrio sets aside 5,000 euros for its young people's rent. The town council opens a convocatoria of housing rent grants for young people, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, with a budget of 5,000 euros. It is aimed at individuals, not companies, and applications close on 8 November. It has been listed since 2 October in the BDNS, the National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants. The amount per applicant and the requirements are set out in the municipal rules, the bases that set who may apply for it and how.
- Travel to study brings a further 4,000 euros. The same day saw the arrival of the grant for the cost of travelling to study, designed for young people aged 18 to 30, with 4,000 euros and the same closing date, 8 November. Together the two come to 9,000 euros and leave 34 days in hand, counted from Monday 5 October. It is worth reading its specific rules first.
- Kainabera receives 27,500 euros under an agreement. The third municipal notice, dated 1 October, is a subvención nominativa for the Kainabera cooperation association for 2026, a grant earmarked for a named recipient, which nobody else can apply for. With it, Elorrio moves 36,500 euros in three registrations made over two days. It is the only one of the 14 town councils in the Duranguesado comarca to appear among the week's 16 grant notices.
Thirteen of the 16 grant notices this week come from the Diputación Foral and the regional tier

- Nine of the 16 are from the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia. Between 27 September and 4 October the BDNS recorded 16 municipal, provincial and regional grant notices. Three are from Elorrio town council, nine from the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia, the provincial council, and four are regional in scope. On 2 October came a provincial subvención nominativa for the Bizkaiko Abesbatzen Elkartea federation.
- The four regional ones arrived on 28 and 29 September. On 28 September two were registered, Emakumea Industriara, from the Basque Business Development Agency, and the grants of the Ikerbat 2026 programme, from the department of Food, Rural Development, Agriculture and Fisheries. The 29th brought two from the Presidency of the Government, the 2026 notice for cultural tours and the one for innovative projects for Euskal Etxeak, the Basque centres. None is local. Before preparing any paperwork it is worth opening each record, which is where the beneficiaries, the amount and the deadline appear.
Luxora 2026 is founded in Ermua with 3,000 euros and new homes as its trade

- Luxora 2026 is born in Ermua to build homes. The BORME of 29 September, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies must be published by law, records the incorporation of the company Luxora 2026, with its registered office in Ermua. It starts out with 3,000 euros of capital social, the money the partners put in when founding the company, and its purpose is the construction of residential buildings. Ermua is one of the three municipalities in the comarca with a published CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home.
- Last week there were three incorporations and not one builder. From 20 to 27 September three companies were incorporated, with 245,204.60 euros of capital between them. The BORME of 22 September brought a property firm in Amorebieta-Etxano, Cauce and Faro, and a programming firm in Ermua, Faro Data. The one of 24 September added an engineering firm in Iurreta, Nexori Energy Engineering. None had the construction of buildings as its purpose. This week the Duranguesado comarca has no court auction, a public sale ordered by a court, in which anyone can bid. Nor is there any public tender, in which companies bid to carry out works or a service.

From 27 September to 4 October, the news in the Duranguesado comarca came from Elorrio, whose town council registered two grants for young people, for rent and for travel to their studies, which accept requests up to 8 November, as well as an agreement with the Kainabera association. Ermua gained a newly incorporated company whose purpose is constructing residential buildings. The week's other 13 grant notices are from the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia or regional in scope, and none belongs to a municipality. In Durango, Amorebieta-Etxano, Abadiño, Berriz, Iurreta, Zaldibar, Mallabia, Mañaria, Izurtza, Garai, Atxondo and Otxandio there were no municipal grant notices, company incorporations, auctions or tenders.
