The Vélez de Benaudalla bridge takes bids until Tuesday and holds 93 of every 100 euros open in the comarca

Replacing the Guadalfeo crossing, a job within the Costa Tropical comarca, stops taking proposals this Tuesday, 6 October. GEOCAMINOS S.L appears as the firm chosen to lay out in Motril the park planned at Playa Granada, and Gualchos has settled a sports hall whose budget exceeds that of the three jobs that have a company, combined.

Playa Granada has learned who is to lay out its park. The Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders for works and services, shows as settled the tender for the works to lay out the Playa Granada park, in Motril, with GEOCAMINOS S.L as the winning company. The award is the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work. Motril town council published on 6 June this licitación, a public tender, in which companies bid to carry out works or a service. It came out at 480,864.77 euros before VAT, that is, before tax, and that is how every amount in this edition is given: they are tender budgets, not award prices. Bidding closed on 2 July and the latest update to the record is from 1 October, 117 days after it was published.
The premises in Calle Madrid will be a study room with a builder chosen. The same town council has settled the fitting out of premises in Calle Madrid as a municipal study room, published on 5 July with a budget of 329,991.18 euros. It is listed under the name of PRODEGRA OBRA CIVIL Y EDIFICACIÓN S.L.
Salobreña renews the pavement in Calle Antonio Machado. The paving of Calle Antonio Machado, a job published on 20 August with a tender budget of 74,380.16 euros, is recorded as awarded to DMA DRA CARPINTERIA Y DISEÑO SL.
A single sports hall, the one in Gualchos, outweighs three works combined. The multi-purpose municipal sports hall in Gualchos, published on 24 August for 1,536,541.69 euros, appears as settled, although the Plataforma does not say which company will build it. The three works with a published company add up to 885,236.11 euros, so the sports hall alone exceeds the three combined. Between the four there are 2,421,777.80 euros of works that have already been through the tender.

Two tenders are open to bids and two are waiting

Hours remain to go for the Vélez de Benaudalla bridge. Vélez de Benaudalla town council is taking bids until Tuesday 6 October for the replacement of the bridge over the river Guadalfeo, on the Barranco de las Viñas y las Madres track. Published on 10 September for 422,756.96 euros, the contract combines design and construction, so the same company designs and builds. It is the bulk of what the Costa Tropical comarca has out to tender: 93 of every 100 euros with an open deadline.
Ítrabo debuts a tender for tidying a municipal plot. Ítrabo town council published on 29 September the supply of building materials and the hire of machinery to bring an unused municipal plot into shape and paint street furniture, a purchase of 31,372.59 euros. Builders' merchants and hire companies have 15 days, until 14 October. With the bridge, what is open adds up to 454,129.55 euros.
Almuñécar closes the deadline for a park and keeps assessing another job. The period for bids on the neurodivergence park, which went out to tender for 678,300 euros, closed on 2 October. The refurbishment of the La Herradura Youth Centre, of 145,510.47 euros, is still being assessed, that is, the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company. Between the two there are 823,810.47 euros awaiting a company.

Motril calls 6,000 euros in youth grants and gains a vegetable-growing company with 3,010 euros of capital

Motril calls 6,000 euros in youth grants. Motril town council registered on 2 October the rules and the call for youth grants for non-profit organisations, with a total budget of 6,000 euros. The call, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, awards them by concurrencia competitiva, an award in which applications are compared and the best-scored ones receive the grant. The deadline is 15 calendar days from the day after its publication in the Boletín Oficial de la Provincia (BOP), the Provincial Official Gazette, where town halls publish their notices, and the rules are on the Motril online office. The record appears in the Base de Datos Nacional de Subvenciones (BDNS), the National Grants Database, the public register of grants.
Four Andalusia-wide calls are registered by the Junta. Listed are the grants for losses from the flooding and the call by the Servicio Andaluz de Empleo for young people aged 18 to 29. That Servicio is the Junta de Andalucía body that manages employment policy. Added to these are the travel grants for pupils at schools and colleges doing the Formación en Centros de Trabajo, the workplace training placement, and the Research Prize of the Consejo Económico y Social de Andalucía, which is calling its 2027 edition.
Motril gets a newly formed vegetable company. The Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil (BORME), the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies are published, records the incorporation of ECOPEAZO SOCIEDAD LIMITADA, with 3,010 euros of share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company, and engaged in growing vegetables. It is the only new company of the week in the comarca.

From 27 September to 4 October, Motril saw a company listed in charge of the green space planned at Playa Granada, has a construction company ready for its study room planned in Calle Madrid, called 6,000 euros in youth grants and gained a vegetable-growing company. Proposals keep arriving in Vélez de Benaudalla to replace the Guadalfeo bridge, Ítrabo published a tender for materials and machinery, Almuñécar ended the period for proposals for a park adapted to neurodivergence and is assessing those for the youth centre refurbishment in La Herradura, Salobreña has a pavement awarded and Gualchos has its sports hall settled. Lentegí, Rubite, Lújar, Sorvilán, Albondón, Jete, Otívar, Los Guájares, Polopos, Molvízar, Torrenueva Costa and Albuñol were left without works tenders or new companies during these seven days.
