Gualchos decides on a 1.54 million sports hall, almost what Córdoba City Council awarded for 13 schools

The Gualchos sports hall comes within 482 euros of the 13 schools that Córdoba City Council is refurbishing, Almuñécar and Vélez de Benaudalla accept bids for 1.1 million until 6 October, and in the coastal Costa Tropical comarca five firms are born, four linked to land, building or tourist accommodation.

Almuñécar has its largest works contract open, a neurodivergence park. The Alcaldía of Almuñécar, the mayoralty, published on 11 September the construction of a neurodivergence park, file 90/2026, for 678,300 euros before VAT, with the architectural project already drafted. Bids are accepted until Friday 2 October, so anyone wishing to bid has this week.
Vélez de Benaudalla wants one firm to design and build its bridge. The Junta de Gobierno Local of Vélez de Benaudalla, the council executive board, put out to tender on 10 September the drafting of the project and the replacement of the bridge over the Guadalfeo on the Barranco de las Viñas y las Madres track, for 422,757 euros before VAT. The contract combines design and works, so it suits construction firms with in-house engineering, and the deadline runs until 6 October.
The La Herradura Youth Centre, awaiting a contractor. The Centro Joven de La Herradura, the youth centre in Almuñécar, was put out to tender on 20 July for 145,510 euros before VAT. With bidding now closed, the Platform lists it as being assessed, so the next news will be the name of the company that carries out the refurbishment.

The Gualchos sports hall costs almost the same as 13 schools in Córdoba. The Junta de Gobierno Local of Gualchos has decided the contract for the multipurpose municipal sports hall, for 1,536,542 euros before VAT, the largest works contract in the Costa Tropical comarca this week. That is only 482 euros less than the refurbishment of 13 schools that Córdoba City Council awarded this week. Resuelto, or decided, is the status the Platform gives a contract once the decision has been taken, but it has not yet published the company, which is the piece that structure, roofing and installation subcontractors are looking for.
GEOCAMINOS will develop the Playa Granada park, in Motril. Motril City Council awarded GEOCAMINOS the development of the Playa Granada park, for 480,865 euros before VAT.
Salobreña commissions 74,380 euros of pavement works. The Alcaldía of Salobreña awarded DMA DRA CARPINTERIA Y DISEÑO the pavement works on Calle Antonio Machado, for 74,380 euros before VAT, a contract tailored to small local firms.

Motril and Almuñécar register five firms, and four back land, building or tourist accommodation

Four in five new firms look to bricks and mortar or tourism

Two newcomers will prepare land and develop buildings. COSTA PREMIUM ESTATES, registered in Motril, was entered in the BORME of 22 September, the official companies gazette, with 3,000 euros of capital to consolidate and prepare land and to build and develop buildings. On the same day IBERICA Y ANDALUZA DE INVERSIONES appeared, in Almuñécar, also with 3,000 euros, for the development, purchase, sale and letting of plots and property and the urban transformation of land. The two are betting on different markets: the median CasasValue of a home is 257,026 euros in Almuñécar and 193,190 in Motril, according to the CASAS.ES map.
Almuñécar adds a holiday rental firm and Motril a hotel company. ENAMORADO2026, in Almuñécar, appears in the BORME of 25 September with 3,000 euros to buy, lease and operate property as short-stay accommodation. In Motril, a hotel, tourist accommodation and building cleaning company and an industrial and fashion design studio were set up, both with 3,000 euros. In total, the five have 15,000 euros of capital.

Homes and businesses in the Costa Tropical comarca can seek 20.77 million of Andalusian energy aid from 22 October

Seven in ten euros go to households and homeowner communities

Households and communities have a 14.90 million line. The Agencia Andaluza de la Energía, the Andalusian Energy Agency, published on 21 September three lines of Programme 1 for the whole of Andalusia, which can be applied for from the 18 municipalities of the Costa Tropical comarca. The line for renewable energy and energy efficiency is the only one open to individuals and organisations with no economic activity, such as residents and homeowner communities. Applications open at 9:00 on 22 October, are handled until the money runs out and the final deadline is 30 September 2027.
Smaller businesses and freelancers share 5.87 million of their own. The other two lines, renewables in private homes and residential buildings and energy efficiency in homes and residential buildings, only accept large companies, SMEs and people carrying out an economic activity. It is money for the installer, the developer or the self-employed renovator, with the same September 2027 deadline.

On the Granada coast, Almuñécar is accepting bids until 2 October for its neurodivergence park and is still to name the firm for the La Herradura Youth Centre, Vélez de Benaudalla is accepting bids for its bridge over the Guadalfeo, Gualchos has decided on its sports hall, Motril awarded Playa Granada, Salobreña awarded a pavement contract and Motril and Almuñécar registered new firms. Albuñol, Torrenueva Costa, Molvízar, Polopos, Los Guájares, Ítrabo, Otívar, Jete, Albondón, Sorvilán, Lújar, Rubite and Lentegí had no works tenders or firm registrations in the data for the week, although the Andalusian energy lines can be applied for from any of them.
