A Puente Genil drinks company starts with 38,000 euros, ahead of the 4 other new firms put together

In the Campiña Sur comarca 5 companies are born, 4 of them in Puente Genil, when the week before only one had been registered. Two of the three storm damage repairs have a contractor in place, the latest in Moriles, on the El Cuquillo track. Fernán-Núñez awards the materials for two works. The Andalusian Junta issues its call for flood aid.

Moriles puts firms on El Cuquillo and Los Llanos, two tracks tendered at 183,182 euros before VAT

Between 10 and 18 days after bidding closed

El Cuquillo, damaged by the storm, gets its contractor. Moriles town council put out to licitación, a public tender in which companies submit bids, the repair of the El Cuquillo rural track at 111,733 euros before VAT, that is, before tax. The contract is already listed at adjudicación, or award, the step where the public body picks the company for the job, and it is EUROPAVIMENTOS PADUL SL. Its file changed on 2 October.
Los Llanos is left with its contract closed. The repair of the Los Llanos municipal track, tendered at 71,449 euros before VAT, appears as resuelta, or concluded, on the Plataforma de Contratación del Sector Público, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders. Concluded means the tender is over and the contract closed. The company is Contrata y Movimiento de Tierras Subbetica Agricola SL.
Just one of three storm repairs still awaits a contractor. El Cuquillo is one of the three repairs of storm and bad weather damage, together with the Casa Consistorial, the town hall, and the Mercado Municipal in Monturque. The three add up to 239,658 euros before VAT at tender.

The compensation for the floods has now been called. The Consejería de Agricultura, Pesca, Agua y Desarrollo Rural, a department of the Junta de Andalucía, the regional government, published on 1 October in the BDNS, the Base de Datos Nacional de Subvenciones or National Grants Database, the public register where grants are announced, the 2026 aid to compensate for flood losses from the storms. It is a convocatoria, or call, the notice that opens the window to apply, and it is signed by its Dirección General de Industrias Agroalimentarias. Who can apply, how much and until when is on the official record.
Three other regional calls look to young people, students and research. The Servicio Andaluz de Empleo, the Junta body that manages employment policy, calls grants for young people aged 18 to 29. The Consejería de Desarrollo Educativo y Formación Profesional, the regional education department, calls travel grants for students who trained in workplaces, and the Consejo Económico y Social de Andalucía, the 2027 edition of its Premio de Investigación, a research prize. Of the other 12 records, 2 regional ones have a set beneficiary and 10 come from the Diputación de Córdoba, the provincial council, which mainly serves small towns, and from its bodies, with the recipient already in the title and none from the comarca.

Five of seven contracts are past the tender

Calle Menéndez Pelayo now has suppliers for its materials. The supply of the materials to rebuild that street, tendered at 40,926 euros before VAT, is listed as awarded to Tuberías y Válvulas del Sur SL and RODISUR JURALCA SL, on a file updated on 2 October.
The pavement beside the swimming pool also moves ahead. The supplies to rebuild the north pavement of the swimming pool road, tendered at 126,916 euros before VAT, are recorded as awarded on a file that changed on 29 September. The supplier is not shown yet.
Montilla has the Majuelos works concluded, tendered at 570,100 euros before VAT. Turning municipal premises into an intergenerational cultural space on Calle Majuelos, tendered at 570,100 euros before VAT, is concluded in favour of Construcciones Antroju SL. Its tender amount is 3.1 times the sum of the two Moriles tracks.
Monturque, Montemayor and Santaella complete the map of works. In Monturque, the Casa Consistorial already has a company, alsg servicios generales, and the Mercado Municipal is still at evaluación, where the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company. The fencing of the football ground in Montemayor goes to TALLERES LLAMAS SL. In Santaella, the third archaeological phase of the castle stopped taking bids on 28 September. No works tender in the comarca remains open.

Puente Genil signs up 4 of the 5 new firms, with the biggest holding a larger capital than the rest combined

Five new registrations in one week, against 1 the week before. The BORME, the Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil or Official Gazette of the Companies Register, carried 5 new companies in the Campiña Sur comarca, when the previous week brought 1. They add up to 69,300 euros of capital social, or share capital, the money partners put in at founding. The largest is ALMISA EMPRESARIAL SL, a Puente Genil drinks services firm born with 38,000 euros, against 31,300 among the other four.
Puente Genil adds a dental clinic, a cleaning firm and a business in fire protection. DENTAL ABISAL PUENTE GENIL SL is born to manage dental clinics. THE MAISON CLEAN SL cleans buildings. The fourth is a fire protection company.
A wholesaler of computer equipment chooses Aguilar de la Frontera. ADL SEA TRADE SL is set up to sell computer and communications equipment wholesale.
Montemayor's industrial unit at auction can no longer be bid on. It was an industrial unit with 300 built metres on a plot of 594.20 square metres. The subasta, or auction, a public sale ordered by a court in which anyone can bid, closed on 28 September and is the only one on record in the comarca.

From 28 September to 5 October, Puente Genil registered four companies, the largest with a capital of 38,000 euros, and Aguilar de la Frontera, one. Moriles gave the El Cuquillo and Los Llanos tracks a contractor, and Fernán-Núñez awarded the supplies for Menéndez Pelayo and for the pavement beside the swimming pool. Monturque continues to weigh up the offers for its Mercado Municipal, Montilla has the Majuelos premises concluded, Santaella finished receiving offers for its castle, and Montemayor already had bidding closed on its industrial unit at auction. For La Guijarrosa, San Sebastián de los Ballesteros, La Rambla and Montalbán de Córdoba, the weekly data package brings no works, auction or newly created company. Andalusia's Junta published four grant calls, the floods one among them.
