A fire safety firm in Puente Genil opens with 22,300 euros, 65% of the capital filed in the comarca
The Campiña Sur comarca welcomes five new companies holding 34,300 euros between them from 5 to 9 October, and nearly two thirds comes from a fire extinguisher firm in Puente Genil. Of 33 grant records published, only 3 are confirmed as claimable from the comarca: almond orchards, travel costs of trainees placed in companies and the Aguilar de la Frontera fun run, whose period closes on 20 October.
Of 33 grant records, only the almond, work placement travel and Aguilar run grants are recorded as claimable from the comarca

- Of eleven calls, eight already name who receives the money. The BDNS, the National Grants Database, publishes from 5 to 9 October 33 records of Andalusian, provincial or local scope gathered for the Campiña Sur comarca. 11 are convocatorias, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, but 8 of them come from the Instituto Provincial de Desarrollo Económico and each one already names the association or town council that receives the money. Only 3 are officially open to anyone who meets the rules. For farming, the Consejería de Agricultura, the regional agriculture department, calls by resolution of 5 October the grants for holders of almond orchards.
- Vocational Training students on placements with a company get help with travel. The Consejería de Desarrollo Educativo y Formación Profesional calls by resolution of 7 October travel grants for Formación Profesional (FP) students, the official courses that train people for a trade, doing workplace training in the 2025/26 school year. In Aguilar de la Frontera, the town council publishes the rules of the XXIX Carrera Popular Ciudad de Aguilar fun run, with a budget of 960 euros for individuals with no economic activity and a period that the BDNS sets from 23 September to 20 October.
- The Diputación de Córdoba publishes two deals with the province's employers' body. The Diputación, the provincial government, publishes in the BDNS on 8 October two agreements with CECO, the Confederación de Empresarios de Córdoba: one for the Encuentros Empresariales de Excelencia 2026 and another for finding, attracting and improving employment in the province. On 5 October it published another with the Peña Ciclista Montemayor cycling club for the 51 Gran Premio Montemayor. That money already has a recipient. The Agencia Andaluza de Instituciones Culturales publishes on 9 October a record for cultural activity in rural areas whose title does not make clear whether it is a call for applications.
Puente Genil holds 25,300 of the Campiña Sur comarca's 34,300 euros of founding capital

- A fire extinguisher company in Puente Genil starts with 22,300 euros. The BORME of 5 October, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies must be published by law, registers that company, which refills and replaces fire extinguishers and installs fire protection systems. It is 65% of the 34,300 euros of share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company, raised by the week's five incorporations in the comarca. On the same day THE MAISON CLEAN SL is born, in cleaning and finishing of buildings, also in Puente Genil and with 3,000 euros, along with ADL SEA TRADE SL, a computer equipment wholesaler in Aguilar de la Frontera, with another 3,000.
- Construction and insurance complete the list. The BORME of 8 October adds in Fernán-Núñez a company in construction, carpentry, metal structures and property activities, with 3,000 euros, and that of the 9th an insurance agency in Monturque with the same figure.
Montilla takes 45% of the 1,257,073 euros tendered in ten municipal contracts across the Campiña Sur comarca

- Montilla's cultural space, the largest municipal works, has its contractor. Montilla town council put out to tender for 570,099.51 euros before VAT, the tax on sales, the conversion of some municipal premises in Calle Majuelos into an intergenerational cultural space, and it appears as resolved, with Construcciones Antroju, S.L., since the update of 15 September. It is 45% of the combined value of the comarca's ten contracts on the Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders for works and services. All were published before this week and none moved from 5 to 12 October.
- Two companies will repair the damaged rural roads of Moriles. The El Cuquillo road has its adjudicación, the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work, in favour of EUROPAVIMENTOS PADUL SL since the update of 2 October. Contrata y Movimiento de Tierras Subbetica Agricola SL won the Los Llanos one, which appears as resolved since 28 September. In Montemayor, a company has already been chosen for the improvement of the football ground's fencing.
- Monturque repairs its Town Hall and the Market works remain unassigned. The Town Hall, damaged by storms and winds, already has a company, a general services firm. The Municipal Market closed bids on 24 September and is still at the assessment stage: the public body is studying the bids and has not yet chosen a company. In Santaella, phase 3 of the archaeological work in the Castle courtyard closed its deadline on 28 September.
- Fernán-Núñez buys materials for Calle Menéndez Pelayo and a second pavement, and Puente Genil has eight companies to clear scrub. The supply for Calle Menéndez Pelayo went to Tuberías y Válvulas del Sur, SL and RODISUR JURALCA S.L. The one for the pavement on the road to the swimming pool has a chosen company, but the Platform does not publish which. Puente Genil's municipal environmental services company has had since March 2025 an acuerdo marco for scrub clearing, a framework contract that sets the terms of the jobs for several years, with eight suppliers to clear its plots.
