Eleven auctions put the Vinalopó Mitjà comarca top of the day and Elda puts 1.07 million out to tender

The Vinalopó Mitjà comarca draws level with the Valencia and Tarragonès comarcas on eleven auctions, among them a 1.23 hectare estate that includes a house in Monóvar, Elda takes bids until 30 September for the San Crispín study room, Monforte del Cid lines up three public tenders, and farming and hospitality get new regional grants.

Eight homes are auctioned across Aspe, Novelda, Monforte del Cid and Pinoso, and two of them close today

• Two homes, one in Aspe and one in Monforte del Cid, stop taking bids today. The one in Aspe has almost 90 built square metres according to the auction notice (auction SUB-JA-2025-255436). The one in Monforte del Cid (SUB-JA-2026-261124) comes with no floor area in the notice, which refers bidders to the certificate from the property register. Both accept bids until this Monday 28 September on the Auction Portal.
• Three of the eight homes are in Novelda. The first closes on Monday 5 October (SUB-JA-2026-264686) and the other two, published this week, on Wednesday 14 (SUB-JA-2026-265947 and SUB-JA-2026-266069). The last one is a detached house on a plot of land. None of the three notices states a floor area, so it is worth requesting the certificate before bidding. For reference, the median CasasValue of a detached house in Novelda is 165,849 euros.
• Pinoso puts up a detached house, and Aspe and Monforte del Cid add one more each. The Pinoso house is a detached home with bidding until Wednesday 7 October (SUB-JA-2026-266106). In Aspe there is a second home until Thursday 8 (SUB-JA-2026-263733) and in Monforte del Cid another, new this week, until Thursday 15 (SUB-JA-2026-262607).
• With eleven auctions, the Vinalopó Mitjà comarca ties for first place among the 21 comarcas published today. Only the Valencia and Tarragonès comarcas reach the same figure on the Auction Portal. For buyers it means a choice of eight homes, a building plot, a rural estate with a home and a parking space in five municipalities, with deadlines staggered over three weeks.

A 1.23 hectare Monóvar estate including a detached house and a building plot in Novelda take bids until 5 October

• Monóvar auctions 1.23 hectares of dry farmland along with a house. It is farmland, with a detached house of 136 built square metres on the estate, as stated in the notice (auction SUB-JA-2026-263268). It is the largest piece of land and the house with the most declared square metres among the eleven auctions in the comarca, and it accepts bids until Monday 5 October.
• Novelda auctions a 151 metre urban building plot. It closes on the same Monday 5 October as the Monóvar estate (SUB-JA-2026-265474). A plot of that size is what a small developer, or someone wanting to build their own home, is looking for.
• A 9.90 square metre parking space in Aspe is also being auctioned. It measures 4.50 by 2.20 metres according to its edict and, together with a home in Monforte del Cid, it is the auction with the longest deadline in the comarca, until Thursday 15 October. It was published this week (SUB-JA-2026-258674). The area of a parking space does not include its proportional share of access ways and ramps.

Elda, Monforte del Cid and Novelda seek builders for 2.01 million across five contracts

• The study room on Calle San Crispín in Elda is tendered at 1,066,855 euros. Elda City Council published on 10 September the refurbishment of premises at San Crispín 14 as a study room, multipurpose room and assembly hall, as part of the Plan Elda Parte de Ti. It is the largest open tender in the Vinalopó Mitjà comarca and bids can be submitted until Wednesday 30 September.
• Monforte del Cid lines up three tenders closing between 1 and 4 October. The café bar at the municipal sports centre, for 450,481 euros, and the redevelopment of the access to San Roque from Calle Canónigo Miralles and Avenida Constitución, for 237,163 euros, accept offers until Thursday 1. The ornamental festival lighting, 106,940 euros for design, installation and maintenance all year round, closes on Sunday 4.
• The Sant Felip chapel in Novelda takes bids only until today. On 7 September the Junta de Gobierno of Novelda, its local executive board, tendered the restoration of the chapel as a multipurpose cultural venue for 152,180 euros before VAT. The deadline ends this Monday 28 September.

Petrer will resurface streets for 330,579 euros and Aspe restores former teacher housing for social rent

• The 2026 resurfacing in Petrer is already before the contracting board. The Junta de Gobierno of Petrer closed the bidding period for the project to resurface several streets on 3 August and the offers are being assessed. Residents of the affected streets will see machinery once the contract is awarded.
• Aspe restores the teacher housing building for social rent. Aspe City Council put out to tender in August the works to restore the former schoolteachers building for rental with social aims. The bidding period ended on 15 September and the file is listed as under assessment.
• The athletics track in Novelda has already been awarded. The renovation of the athletics track at the sports centre, with accessibility improvements, was awarded to Mediterráneo de Obras y Asfaltos S.A., according to the 23 July update on the Platform.
• Monóvar awarded the maintenance of its road signage to Serovial. The contract for maintenance, replacement and signage of the road network is shown as resolved in the 10 September update on the Platform.

Two property companies in Petrer and Aspe and new grants for farming and hospitality

• A Petrer asset-holding firm opens the week for the building trade. Veredas OZP SL was incorporated with 3,000 euros to buy, sell, manage and let property and to carry out construction works, according to the BORME, the official companies gazette, of 21 September.
• Aspe gains a developer and Elda a hospitality firm that includes property development in its business purpose. Mediterránea de Ensueño SL is set up in Aspe to develop buildings for sale on its own account and to build them. Nativa Coffee SL, registered in Elda, has serving drinks as its main activity and includes residential construction and property development in its purpose. Both appeared in the BORME of 25 September.
• The other four incorporations range from cheesemaking to software. Kabria Natura SL, in Pinoso, raises sheep and goats and makes cheese (BORME of 21 September). Smartliners Iberia SL, in Elda, and Word Expora SL, in Aspe, are in wholesale trade (BORME of 22 September), and Consta App SL, in Petrer, develops software and apps. All seven start with 3,000 euros, 21,000 between them.
• Farming and hospitality have two new regional grant calls. On 24 September the Agencia Valenciana de Fomento y Garantía Agraria, the regional agricultural agency, registered the grants for young farmers and new farmers setting up in the Comunitat Valenciana, which fit holdings such as the new cheese dairy in Pinoso. On the 22nd Turisme Comunitat Valenciana registered the Bono Hostelería 2026 of the Plan Endavant, a voucher designed for bars and restaurants such as the newly incorporated café in Elda. El Fondó de les Neus/Hondón de las Nieves, La Romana, Hondón de los Frailes and Algueña register no auctions, public tenders or newly formed companies this week.
