Peñaflor holds four of the nine municipal contracts in the comarca, worth 1.05 million euros

Peñaflor accounts for more than a quarter of the budget of the nine municipal contracts on the Platform for the whole Vega del Guadalquivir comarca in the province of Seville, with its sports hall already under assessment. The open-air auditorium in the Concordia park in Alcalá del Río is taking proposals from builders until 6 October, bidding on a house in Lora del Río under a judicial sale ends on Wednesday, and from 22 October the Junta de Andalucía will share out 20.8 million so that homes and businesses spend less on energy.

In Peñaflor, only the sports hall is still to be awarded

Peñaflor's sports hall moved to assessment on 24 September. Peñaflor's mayor's office has the bids on the table for the refurbishment of the Municipal Sports Hall, worth 822,885 euros before VAT. It came out on 25 August and is the largest contract by amount that moved in the comarca this week.
The municipal theatre will get solar panels for its own consumption. On 22 September the solar photovoltaic installation for the municipal theatre was awarded, with a tender budget of 77,033.36 euros before VAT. On 16 September the new coworking building of the PFEA 2025 appears as awarded to COANVEIN, SL, a supply contract budgeted at 57,639.63 euros before VAT.
The municipal sports grounds complete the list. The upgrade of the municipal sports facilities, budgeted at 97,373.55 euros before VAT, has been listed as resolved since 11 September. With it, Peñaflor has four of the nine municipal contracts in the comarca on the Platform, more than any other town in the comarca.

Alcalá del Río takes proposals for its Concordia park until 6 October, 305,785 euros

Villaverde del Río and Peñaflor add up to seven in every ten euros

An open-air auditorium for the Concordia park. Alcalá del Río's mayor's office is putting out to tender the upgrade and improvement of municipal parks and the construction of an open-air auditorium in the Parque Concordia for 305,785.12 euros before VAT. Open since 16 September, it is the only works contract in the comarca still accepting bids, until 6 October.
Tocina is already assessing the bids for construction machinery. Tocina Town Council is assessing the bids for the hire of construction machinery, with and without driver, and skips for building waste, a service at unit prices with a budget of 175,150 euros before VAT. It came out on 12 August.
The Seville provincial council opens a second call for technical assistance. On 25 September the provincial council published the second 2026 call for the town councils of the province, except the capital, to hire technical assistance. All eleven municipalities in the Vega del Guadalquivir comarca can apply.

Cantillana marks its through road as resolved on 21 September and Villaverde del Río has its town hall awarded to PINUS

The comarca's next works deadline is 6 October

Cantillana marked the concreting of its through road as resolved on 21 September. Cantillana Town Council lists the concreting works on the Extremadura through road and Calle Palacio and Calle San Francisco as resolved since 21 September, budgeted at 110,376.52 euros before VAT. The Platform has not yet published the winning company.
Villaverde del Río's new town hall will be built by PINUS. The full council of Villaverde del Río resolved the construction of its new nearly zero energy town hall in favour of PINUS,SA, last updated on 10 September. Its tender budget, 1,664,808.04 euros before VAT, is the largest of the nine municipal contracts in the comarca on the Platform.
Brenes turns its old food market into a leisure centre. Brenes's mayor's office resolved phase I of the refurbishment and restoration of the old Mercado de Abastos budgeted at 547,266.03 euros before VAT, last updated on 25 August and with no winning company published.

A Lora del Río home is up for judicial sale until 30 September and the Junta shares out 20.8 million for energy

Almost three quarters of the energy money is for private individuals

Bidding for a home in Lora del Río ends on Wednesday. The Auction Portal has the judicial sale of a home in Lora del Río, part of a residential complex, open until 30 September. The notice gives no square metres and CASAS.ES does not yet have a publishable CasasValue for that building. It is the only auction in the comarca.
Panels and insulation for households and firms, open from 22 October. The three lines announced on 21 September share out 20.8 million across Andalusia. The line for individuals and organisations with no economic activity, for renewables and efficiency without state aid, has 14.9 million. Companies, SMEs and the self-employed have the line for energy efficiency in buildings, with 3.85 million, and the one for renewables in private homes and residential buildings, with 2.02 million. Applications open at 9:00 on 22 October and close when the funds run out or, at the latest, on 30 September 2027.
Cantillana registers a small holding company, with 3,000 euros of capital. The BORME of 24 September records the only new company in the comarca this week, MALEBUR SOCIEDAD LIMITADA, registered in Cantillana with 3,000 euros of capital. It is a holding company, not a developer.

Between 20 and 27 September, Peñaflor moved its sports hall to assessment and awarded the solar panels for its theatre, Cantillana marked its through road as resolved and saw a holding company set up, and the Junta de Andalucía announced its energy grants for panels and insulation, with applications from 22 October. The works on the Concordia park in Alcalá del Río, published on 16 September, and the bidding for a home in Lora del Río are still open. Tocina is assessing its machinery contract, and Villaverde del Río and Brenes have works resolved before the week. La Algaba, Burguillos, Villanueva del Río y Minas and Alcolea del Río had no works, auctions or local grants in the package.
