Bidding ends on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 for four street works worth 436,372 euros in the Torrijos comarca

In the Torrijos comarca, the pavement works in La Puebla de Montalbán, the two pedestrian paths of Albarreal de Tajo and a paving job in Novés stop taking bids this week. In addition, the Torrijos town council is listed with its climate control and solar panel works awarded and no company published, Villamiel de Toledo offers 7,000 euros of school book grants and Fuensalida registers two of the five new companies.

Two works take two of every three euros out to tender

Four tenders close in two days. The pavements of La Puebla de Montalbán, 260,293 euros, and the two stretches of the footpath between a housing estate and the village of Albarreal de Tajo, phase I with 54,545 euros and phase II with 52,706, take bids until Thursday 8 October. On Friday 9 the deadline ends for the paving around the church in Novés, 68,827 euros. Every amount in this edition comes from a licitación, a public tender, in which companies bid to carry out works or a service, and is stated sin IVA, that is, before VAT. Together the four add up to 436,372 euros and six in every ten are in the La Puebla pavements.
Méntrida and the Novés golf course have one more week. The paving of Avenida Félix Arranz in Méntrida, which goes out at 246,048 euros, closes on Tuesday 13 October, and the replacement of the water pipes at the golf course in Novés, with 91,775 euros, on Friday 16. The six open works add up to 774,195 euros and are the same as a week ago, because none has closed yet.

A single job weighs 28 of every 100 euros in the comarca

The biggest-ticket contract of the Torrijos comarca already appears as awarded. The installation of climate control and solar panels in the municipal buildings of the town of Torrijos is recorded as awarded on its file, updated on 1 October. The adjudicación, or award, is the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work, but the file does not yet publish which one.
Bidding opened in May, split into lots. The town council published it on 14 May and the bidding deadline closed on 3 June (file). At 524,639 euros, it weighs 28 of every hundred euros of the 13 works of the Torrijos comarca on the Plataforma, which between open and closed add up to 1,853,780 euros.

Villamiel de Toledo offers 7,000 euros for books and the region, grants for factories, training and crops

Four days in a row of grant calls and agreements

If you have children at school in Villamiel de Toledo. On the 29th the town council opened its grants for books for the school year, with 7,000 euros in total. Residents can apply until the fifteenth working day, not counting Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays, after publication in the provincial gazette. It is the only record of the week with an amount and a deadline in the BDNS, the Base de Datos Nacional de Subvenciones or National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants.
If you open a factory or train your staff. The Dirección General de Empresas of the regional government published on the 30th the 2026 call for setting up new industrial establishments. A convocatoria, or call, is the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant. The one for vocational training and employment in the company, dated 1 October, brings together the Dual Verde, Nuevas oportunidades, Nuevo Crea and Oficios lines and has three more records with the same text (two, three and four). None yet carries an amount or a deadline in the data CASAS.ES handles, so it is best to open the link before preparing paperwork.
If rabbits eat your crop or your company has just been born. On the 28th the region published the grants against damage by wild rabbits to crops (one record and another) and the joint participation in a stand, from the regional directorate for agri-food production. That day also brought the business incubation programme of the European Space Agency, which gives newly created companies up to two years of technical support, advice and funding, and the publishing of works written by women authors.
Huecas, Rielves, Méntrida and Santa Olalla each appear with a provincial agreement. These are four agreements of the Diputación de Toledo, the provincial council, which mainly serves small towns. Their recipient is already decided and nobody else can apply for them: the repair of the road surface on the southern access to Huecas, several municipal works in Rielves, the restoration of the bell turret of the chapel of the Virgen de la Natividad, in Méntrida, and the Nexo programme of an association in Santa Olalla. Also with a named recipient, the Diputación published an agreement with the provincial association of hospitality and tourism businesses for a food showcase, and the region, a direct grant to a farming organisation for measures against nitrate pollution.

Huecas resolves Vereda de los Monjes and Méntrida, Nombela and Santo Domingo-Caudilla now publish their builder

Four of these six works already have a company

Vereda de los Monjes, in Huecas, moves to resolved status. The renewal of the road surface, which went out at 53,380 euros, closed its deadline on 28 September and is listed as resuelta, or resolved, meaning the tender is over and the contract has been closed, although the file does not yet publish a company.
Three more villages already know their builder. The resurfacing of the streets of the Dehesa del Caño, in Méntrida, tendered at 284,032 euros, is recorded as awarded to ENTORNO OBRAS Y SERVICIOS, SL. PAVIMENTOS SOLADOS Y FIRMES SL is listed on the water and pavement works of Calle Eras in Santo Domingo-Caudilla, phase I and phase II, which went out at 48,760 and 44,416 euros. MOVIMIENTOS Y EXCAVACIONES DOBLE R, S.L. is recorded on the repair of the rural tracks of Nombela, of 53,500 euros. The Plataforma does not publish the final price of any of them.
The homes for the elderly in La Puebla have been under study since 2022. The improvement and repair of the municipal building of homes for the elderly, of 70,859 euros, closed its bidding deadline in September 2022 and remains en evaluación, under assessment: the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company. Not counting the climate control works of the town of Torrijos, these six works with the deadline closed add up to 554,946 euros.

Fuensalida, Méntrida, Santo Domingo-Caudilla and the town of Torrijos register five companies with 15,010 euros of capital

Fuensalida registers two and the rest, one per village

Fuensalida gains a bar and a bricklaying crew. VIVA DUBLIN SL is born with 3,000 euros of capital social, or share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company and not its turnover, to run bars and cafeterias, according to the BORME of 1 October, the Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil or Official Gazette of the Companies Register. The other, from the gazette of 28 September, is devoted to bricklaying with the same capital.
Wholesale textiles choose the town of Torrijos. STRATEGA FASHION SL is incorporated with 3,010 euros for the wholesale trade in textiles, footwear and leather (same gazette of 1 October).
Méntrida adds building cleaning and Santo Domingo-Caudilla, scrap metal. MANTENIMIENTOS NAVAFER SL, of Méntrida, will clean buildings with 3,000 euros (BORME). In Santo Domingo-Caudilla, a company with 3,000 euros will trade in scrap metal (gazette of 29 September). That makes five companies and 15,010 euros of capital between them all.

From 28 September to 5 October, La Puebla de Montalbán, Albarreal de Tajo and Novés reached the home straight of four tenders that expire on Thursday 8 and Friday 9, and Méntrida keeps its avenue open until Tuesday 13. The town of Torrijos saw its climate control and solar panel works listed as awarded and registered a textile wholesaler. Huecas wrapped up the tender on one street and shows up with a provincial agreement that the BDNS has published, as do Rielves, a brotherhood in Méntrida and an association in Santa Olalla. Nombela and Santo Domingo-Caudilla have a builder published, Fuensalida signed up a couple of companies, Méntrida another and Villamiel de Toledo opened grants to buy textbooks. The regional programmes for factories, training and crops are published region-wide in Castilla-La Mancha, including La Torre de Esteban Hambrán, Santa Cruz del Retamar, Quismondo, Portillo de Toledo, Pelahustán, Paredes de Escalona, Otero, Nuño Gómez, Mesegar de Tajo, La Mata, Maqueda, Hormigos, Gerindote, Garciotum, Escalonilla, Escalona, Erustes, Domingo Pérez, El Casar de Escalona, Carriches, El Carpio de Tajo, Carmena, Camarenilla, Camarena, Burujón, Barcience, Arcicóllar, Almorox, Aldea en Cabo and Alcabón.
