An Almendralejo workshop provides 58% of all capital for 8 newly founded firms in the Tierra de Barros comarca

Eight companies were registered in the Tierra de Barros comarca between 23 and 30 September, with Almendralejo as the base of four, and one farm machinery workshop accounts for 58% of their capital. Hornachos awaits company offers until Tuesday 6 October for redoing the basins and surrounds of its swimming pool, tendered at 369,152 euros before VAT, while Puebla de Sancho Pérez entrusts its two electrical works to a single installer.

Almendralejo leads the comarca with four of the eight new companies and 54,400 euros of capital

Construction and farming share out the new companies
  • The three new works, development and installation companies choose Almendralejo. According to the BORME of 23 September, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies must be published by law, GLOBAL INVERSIONES EXTREMEÑAS is founded with 3,000 euros of share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company, to develop, build, refurbish and sell property. Next come GCG INSTALACIONES Y OBRAS, with 3,000 euros for electrical installations (BORME of 24 September), and EXTRESUR CONTRATAS, with 9,600 euros for public and private works and refurbishment of homes, premises and industrial buildings (BORME of 30 September).
  • A farm machinery workshop holds 58% of the money put in. TALLER Y RECAMBIOS EXTREMAGRICOLA is incorporated in Almendralejo with 38,800 euros to repair industrial vehicles, especially for agricultural use (BORME of 30 September). That company alone contributes more than half of the 66,400 euros of the eight new companies in the Tierra de Barros comarca.
  • Villafranca, Los Santos and Solana add four companies from the fields and the larder. Villafranca de los Barros gains SERVICIOS AGRICOLAS TIERRA DE BARROS and TUBOS Y PERFILES AGRICOLAS, which will make cold-formed profiles (BORME of 23 September). Los Santos de Maimona adds VQ ORIGEN, in farming and livestock, and Solana de los Barros the wholesaler BACALAOS DE PORTUGAL (BORME of 24 and of 25 September). All four start with 3,000 euros each.

Puebla de Sancho Pérez puts its two electrical works in the hands of the same installer

Where the tendered money for works with a contractor lies
  • Puebla de Sancho Pérez moves its two electrical contracts. ELYSE ELECTRIFICACIONES takes both electrical works of the town council whose file changed this week on the Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders. Both come from the Plan Avanzamos of the Diputación de Badajoz, the provincial council, which mainly serves small towns. One is the lighting of the rural road, the industrial street and the path to the Municipal Cemetery, tendered at 46,021.70 euros before VAT, that is, before tax. The other, the low-voltage installation for temporary uses at the site of the Ermita de Nuestra Señora de Belén, tendered at 57,613.59 euros before VAT.
  • Los Santos de Maimona resurfaces streets and lays new artificial grass at its stadium. Its file was last updated on 17 September. The town's asphalting, under the Plan Contigo of the Diputación, is being done by GEVORA CONSTRUCCIONES (tendered at 168,533.75 euros before VAT), and the artificial turf of the municipal pitch by SPORT TECHNICAL MULTIJUEGOS, according to its file.
  • The Almendralejo fairground and a school in Ribera del Fresno, with earlier contracts. The sail awnings and the cooling mist system at the Almendralejo fairground are in the hands of ARCOIRIS TT SUMINISTROS, according to the file, last updated on 18 September. In Ribera del Fresno, ALAUDAE GRUPO EMPRESARIAL holds the improvement of openings and insulation at CEIP Meléndez Valdés, a state infant and primary school, for children aged 3 to 12, in a contract awarded in April.

Hornachos refurbishes its municipal swimming pool with 369,152 euros and collects proposals until Tuesday 6 October

A single open tender, mid-table
  • Hornachos refurbishes the basins of its pool. Hornachos town council is looking for a company for the works on the basins and surrounds of the municipal swimming pool, tendered at 369,152.29 euros before VAT. It is the only tender in the comarca, a public tender in which companies submit bids to carry out a work, that is still open, until 6 October, and the largest of the five without a company, which add up to 853,876 euros before VAT.
  • Hornachos puts amendment number 10 of its planning rules out to consultation. The Official Gazette of Extremadura (Diario Oficial de Extremadura) of 28 September publishes the notice from Hornachos town council, dated 11 September, opening the public consultation on the initial approval of specific amendment number 10 to its Normas Subsidiarias.
  • Palomas and Fuente del Maestre closed bidding on 30 September. The municipal gym of Palomas, tendered at 52,946.39 euros before VAT, and the separation of the electrical installation of the Hogar del Pensionista in Fuente del Maestre, tendered at 11,126.69 euros before VAT, no longer accept bids.

Four days of leeway for the home
  • The Almendralejo home remains up for bids another four days. The court auction, a public sale ordered by a court, accepts bids until 5 October on the Portal de Subastas, the official website of the BOE, Spain's Official State Gazette, where courts and public bodies auction property and anyone who registers can bid. The notice gives no square metres. As a reference, the median CasasValue of a home in Almendralejo, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, is 121,711 euros.
  • The Almendralejo commercial unit closes today, 1 October. The other court auction in the comarca, opened on 11 September, has 1 October as its last day for bids on the BOE Auction Portal. The notice does not give the floor area.

Four of the eight incorporations registered in the Tierra de Barros comarca from 23 to 30 September are based in Almendralejo, where both court auctions also continue to accept bids. Villafranca de los Barros, Los Santos de Maimona and Solana de los Barros complete the new companies, Puebla de Sancho Pérez this week gives its two electrical works to the same company, and Hornachos, which keeps collecting offers for its swimming pool until 6 October, puts the amendment of its Normas Subsidiarias out to consultation. Los Santos de Maimona, Almendralejo and Ribera del Fresno have works whose contractor was chosen earlier, and Zafra, Fuente del Maestre and Palomas have tenders no longer open to bids or in which the public body is assessing the proposals. Aceuchal, Santa Marta, Salvatierra de los Barros, Villalba de los Barros, La Parra, Feria, Llera, Alconera, La Morera, Puebla de la Reina, Hinojosa del Valle, Puebla del Prior and La Lapa record no incorporations, auctioned property or contracts from 23 to 30 September, and their builders may compete for the Hornachos pool works until 6 October.
