Cabra closes in four days three works worth 2,238,109 euros before VAT, 98 of every 100 with bids still open

Of every 100 euros of works still within the deadline in the Subbética comarca, 98 belong to Cabra, which closes three tenders from 5 to 8 October. Lucena adds four companies and Rute shares out 48,816 euros among associations, religious brotherhoods and clubs.

Cabra accounts for 98 of every 100 euros still open to bids

Monday 5 brings the end of Cabra's first appointment with builders. Cabra takes bids until that day for the cycling track and the seven-a-side football changing rooms, tendered at 416,029 euros sin IVA, that is, before VAT, like all the works amounts. A licitación is a public tender, in which companies submit bids.
Cabra's heritage route exceeds the sum of the other works open. The heritage route and access to the historic centre, of 1,190,643 euros, takes bids until Tuesday 6 October. Thursday 8 is the deadline for the water tank on the western slope of La Atalaya, of 631,438 euros.
Priego de Córdoba and Luque launch the week's two new tenders. Priego de Córdoba put out on 28 September the replacement of the crossing over the river Salado on the Castil de Campos track, of 43,823 euros, with bids until 19 October. Luque published on the 30th the lighting of the Fuente la Reina track, of 8,264 euros, with bids until the 16th.

Cabra's animal shelter and the slopes of Lucena's Parque Europa get their contractor

Seven with a contractor, four under assessment and one waiting

The company Químicas y Tecnologías Aplicadas will refurbish Cabra's animal shelter. The remodelling of Cabra's municipal animal shelter, tendered at 166,096 euros before VAT, appears as awarded after its update of 1 October. The adjudicación, or award, is the step in which the public body chooses a company.
The company Europavimentos Padul will maintain the slopes of Parque Europa. Lucena Town Council declared resuelta the maintenance of the Parque Europa slopes, of 148,687 euros, updated on 28 September. Resuelta means that the tender is over and the contract has been closed. The conversion of the old railway station into a hostel also has a contractor.
Seven contracts, each already with its company, total 1,718,484 euros in tender value. The lighting of hamlets and road safety in Priego de Córdoba goes to Futurgy Soluciones Energéticas and the improvement of infrastructure in several Priego hamlets to Datacon Ingeniería. The list is completed by the paving of Calle Los Olivillos, in Rute, and a supply for civil works from Riegos Costasol in Iznájar.
Four works worth 1,435,391 euros in tender value await a decision. The refurbishment of Plaza Palenque in Priego de Córdoba, of 687,914 euros, is the largest en evaluación, that is, the public body is assessing the bids. At the same stage are the restoration of the Molino del Duque in Cabra, the athletics track at Lucena's Ciudad Deportiva and the sports court of a school in Rute. For the multi-sport court in Nacimiento de Zambra, in Rute, the deadline closed on 30 September.

MORCANCRAFT puts in more capital than the other five combined

Lucena's auctioned house accepts bids for ten more days. A two-storey detached house in Lucena, on a plot of 79 square metres takes bids until 14 October. It is a subasta judicial, a public sale ordered by a court, and bids are placed on the Portal de Subastas, the official website of the BOE, Spain's Official State Gazette, where courts and public bodies auction property.
MORCANCRAFT is born in Lucena with 23,000 euros. The BORME of 1 October, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, records the incorporation in Lucena of MORCANCRAFT, devoted to building finishes, with 23,000 euros of capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company. The same gazette carries LUCENA CAR GARAGE, a vehicle repair shop, with 100 euros. The week's 6 companies, double the 3 of the previous edition, bring together 35,100 euros.
A 3,000 euro property firm lands in Doña Mencía. GOMBOR CAPITAL, created to buy, manage and let property, based in Doña Mencía, appeared in the BORME of 30 September. CASA NOVA DECORACION Y REFORMAS, devoted to constructing and repairing buildings, based in Lucena, came out in the BORME of 28 September. The BORME of 2 October carries ANGARA STORE ESPAÑA 2026, a hairdressing and beauty wholesaler, in Lucena, and DENTAL ABISAL PRIEGO DE CORDOBA, in dental clinics, in Priego de Córdoba.

Rute shares out 48,816 euros among associations, religious brotherhoods and clubs and the Andalusian Junta adds four calls

Only two of the week's 21 grants originate in the comarca

Rute sets aside 48,816 euros for 2026 activities. Rute Town Council registered on 1 October two calls in the Base de Datos Nacional de Subvenciones (BDNS), the National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants. The one for non-profit associations and religious brotherhoods has 36,816 euros and the one for non-profit sports clubs and associations, 12,000. The period to apply is 15 días hábiles, the days left once Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are excluded, from the day after their announcement in the BOP, the Provincial Official Gazette. The exact date depends on that announcement.
The Andalusian Junta registers four calls. Among them are the grants for losses from the flooding caused by the storms, from the Dirección General de Industrias Agroalimentarias, and the grants for young people aged 18 to 29 from the Servicio Andaluz de Empleo, the Junta de Andalucía body that manages employment policy. Added to these is the Research Prize of the Consejo Económico y Social de Andalucía.
