Cabra seeks builders for 2.24 million of works, 93 in every 100 euros tendered in the Subbética

The 1.19 million heritage route through the historic centre of Cabra heads three works in the town, which accept bids until 5, 6 and 8 October. Rute closes bidding for the sports court in Nacimiento de Zambra on 30 September, Lucena and Priego de Córdoba already have their builders, and a Lucena house on a 79-metre plot is open to court bids.

Cabra looks for builders for its old town, a water tank on the Atalaya and the cycling track

Access to the old town of Cabra, out to tender. Cabra Town Council is tendering, for 1,190,643 euros before VAT, the improvement of the heritage route and access into the town and its historic centre, as part of its Plan de Actuación Integrado, the integrated action plan for the town. Builders have until 6 October to submit a bid.
A water tank on the Atalaya and a cycling track. Cabra adds a water tank on the western slope of the Atalaya for 631,438 euros before VAT, 85 per cent funded by the European Union, with bids until 8 October, and the refurbishment of the cycling track and the changing rooms of the 7-a-side football pitch for 416,029 euros before VAT, until 5 October. The three were published from 15 to 18 September and add up to 2,238,109 euros before VAT, 93 per cent of the 2,403,558 euros of works in the Subbética that are open for bids.
Rute repairs the sports court in Nacimiento de Zambra. Since 10 September Rute has been tendering, for 165,449 euros before VAT, the repair and upgrading of the multi-sports court in the hamlet of Nacimiento de Zambra. Bidding closes on 30 September.

Lucena and Priego de Córdoba already have their builders, and the 687,914-euro Plaza Palenque awaits a winner

The five works of more than 200,000 euros

The hostel in Lucena's old station already has a builder. Lucena Town Council has treated as settled since 15 September the works to turn the passenger building of the old railway station into a hostel, tendered for 628,525 euros before VAT and 85 per cent co-financed with FEDER funds, the European Regional Development Fund, within its Plan de Actuación Integrado.
Priego de Córdoba awards lighting and works for its villages. FUTURGY SOLUCIONES ENERGETICAS wins the lighting for outlying villages and road safety contract, tendered for 456,621 euros before VAT and paid for by the Fondo Nacional de Eficiencia Energética, Spain's national energy efficiency fund, and DATACON INGENIERIA DE CONSTRUCION wins the improvement of Las Lagunillas, El Cañuelo, Las Higueras and El Esparragal under the Plan de Aldeas, the provincial council's programme for outlying villages, tendered for 208,682 euros before VAT. The files were updated on 11 and 17 September.
Priego, Cabra and Rute have four works whose contractor is still pending. With bidding already closed, bids are being assessed for the refurbishment of the Plaza Palenque in Priego de Córdoba, at 687,914 euros before VAT, the restoration of the Molino del Duque in Cabra, at 330,579 euros, contracted by the provincial council, the second phase of the animal shelter in Cabra, at 166,096 euros, and the repair of a school sports court in Rute, at 111,113 euros, all before VAT.

Rute gains a new builder, Benamejí a wholesale nursery, and a Lucena house comes under the hammer

A new builder in Rute. MOLBE PROYECTOS Y CONSTRUCCION SL is registered in Rute with 3,000 euros of capital to construct residential and non-residential buildings. It is the only company in the sector registered in the Subbética from 19 to 26 September.
Plants from Benamejí and consultancy in Lucena. VIVEROS ACHO SL is set up in Benamejí with 10,000 euros of capital to sell flowers and plants wholesale and to propagate them, and FRATER GESTION SL opens in Lucena with 3,000 euros of capital as a business management consultancy.

The CasasValue of that building is not available. As a reference, the median for single-family houses across the whole municipality, which is not the value of this home, is 201,418 euros.

The Andalusian government backs renewable energy and energy saving in dwellings and buildings from 22 October

Three grant lines for the whole of Andalusia

Almost fifteen million for households. The Agencia Andaluza de la Energía, the Andalusian Energy Agency, sets aside 14.9 million to install renewables and improve efficiency in homes and residential buildings owned by individuals and organisations with no economic activity. Applications open on 22 October and stay open while funds remain, until 30 September 2027 at the latest.
Two further lines for businesses and sole traders. Businesses and sole traders can apply for 3.85 million for energy efficiency in private homes and residential buildings and in non-residential public buildings, and for 2.02 million for renewables in private homes and residential buildings. With the three lines, the Junta, the Andalusian government, puts 20.8 million within reach of the fourteen municipalities of the Subbética and the rest of Andalusia.

In the Subbética, Cabra is seeking bids to improve its old town, a water tank on the Atalaya and the cycling track, and in its municipality bids are being assessed for the Molino del Duque, contracted by the provincial council, and for the second phase of the animal shelter. Rute awaits proposals until 30 September for the sports court in Nacimiento de Zambra, has bids being assessed for the repair of a school sports court and sees a new builder set up. Lucena has settled the works for the hostel in its old station and gains a new consultancy and a house at auction, Priego de Córdoba awarded the lighting and improvement of its villages and has still to pick the builder of the Plaza Palenque, and Benamejí registered a wholesale nursery. Carcabuey, Palenciana, Iznájar, Encinas Reales, Almedinilla, Fuente-Tójar, Doña Mencía, Luque and Zuheros recorded no works, new companies or court auctions in their own municipalities this week, and like the rest they can apply from 22 October for the Junta de Andalucía grants for renewable energy and energy saving in homes.
