Serra de Tramuntana comarca · No. 3 · Monday 12 October 2026 · 5-minute read

Calvià and Andratx have two contracts tendered at 3.0 million before VAT now resolved or awarded

Only the Vinalopó Mitjà and the Valencia comarca gather a larger tendered amount than this Serra de Tramuntana comarca in contracts listed as resolved or awarded after being updated this week. Four tenders go on admitting bids, Esporles closes its school roof tender on Friday and livestock farmers have until 30 October for the animal feed grant.

Calvià considers closed, with two builders, its road surface tender launched at 2,396,694.22 euros before VAT

Two councils commission and three firms carry out
  • Two contractors share Calvià's road surfacing in lots. On 10 July Calvià town council opened a licitación, a public tender in which companies submit bids, to repair and maintain its road surfaces at 2,396,694.22 euros excluding VAT, before tax. Updated on 8 October, the file appears as resolved, meaning the tender is over and the contract closed. It is carried out by Tecnología de la Construcción y Obras Públicas and a second builder.
  • Three Andratx settlements will debut a separate sewerage network. Andratx town council tendered that network in Sant Elm, s'Arracó and the Port d'Andratx at 627,778.96 euros excluding VAT. As of 8 October it appears as awarded, the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work, to Elsamex Gestión de Infraestructuras.
  • Only two of Monday's 21 comarcas exceed that amount. The two works total 3,024,473.18 euros excluding VAT and 79.2 per cent belongs to Calvià.

Sóller wants someone to raise a 206,628.06 euro retaining wall in Son Angelats and three works stay open

Andratx concentrates more than half
  • Sóller's Son Angelats industrial estate needs a reinforced concrete retaining structure. On 8 October Sóller town council published the tender to build a retaining wall on plots 4 and 5 of the estate. Tendered at 206,628.06 euros excluding VAT, it accepts bids until 28 October.
  • Esporles uses up on Friday 16 the last margin of its school tender. The new sports hall roof of the Gabriel Comas i Ribas state school goes out at 437,076.45 euros excluding VAT and closes on 16 October. Esporles accepts bids until 20 October for the refurbishment of its sports centre, at 147,029.56 euros excluding VAT.
  • The largest item is a photovoltaic canopy at a school in Andratx. Also open until 20 October is the steel canopy with a solar roof for self-consumption at the Es Vinyet school, tendered at 985,481.34 euros excluding VAT, 55.5 per cent of the 1,776,215.41 euros at stake.

The animal feed price grant shares out 3,500,000 euros and livestock farmers can apply until 30 October

How much each call shares out
  • Livestock farms have the call with the biggest budget. FOGAIBA, the Fondo de Garantía Agraria y Pesquera de las Illes Balears, the Balearic Islands' agricultural and fisheries guarantee fund, registered on 7 October the convocatoria, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, for the rise in animal feed prices. They are de minimis grants, meaning small grants subject to a per-company ceiling set by the European Union. Small and medium-sized firms and individuals with an economic activity in the sector can apply.
  • Social bodies, employment bodies and arts students can turn to four other lines. The Servicio de Ocupación de las Illes Balears calls pathways into employment and the Dirección General de Planificación y Servicios Sociales, the food guarantee, both for organisations with no economic activity and with a window of fifteen and ten working days, the days left once Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are excluded, from their official publication. The education department opens from 13 to 26 October those for excellence and travel in higher arts education. The five total 7,936,500 euros for the whole archipelago.

Of four newly registered companies, three revolve around works and refurbishment, and a Calvià firm puts in 20,000 euros

How much capital each company puts in
  • Bonaz Multiservicios is born in Calvià to clean, maintain and refurbish buildings. The BORME, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, recorded four companies in the Serra de Tramuntana comarca on 6 and 7 October, with 29,100 euros of share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company. Bonaz Multiservicios contributes 68.7 per cent, according to the Illes Balears gazette.
  • Esporles gains a builder and Calvià a materials intermediary. Multiservicios Tramuntana, of Esporles, will work in construction, and Mel Projectes, of Calvià, will broker purchasing, materials, refurbishment and interior design. The fourth, Parea Brands, sells cosmetics and perfumery. They appear in the BORME of the 6th and of the 7th.

Since August the Andratx lighting contract, tendered at 15,340,398.69 euros before VAT, has awaited a decision with six other works
