The city of Lleida holds eight of the nine Segrià auctions closing on 14 and 15 October
In the Segrià comarca, nine auctions stop taking offers on 14 and 15 October. Eight lie within the city of Lleida, among them four homes, a standalone house and 294 metres of shop space, and the ninth is almost a hectare of irrigable land in Corbins. Two among the Segrià's newly registered firms were created for construction, half the total, against 20.5 per cent across the 21 comarca editions published this Tuesday.
In the Segrià, one in two newly formed firms bets on building work in Lleida

- HAZLUN SISTEMS and AXENTIA TRADE choose Lleida to build. HAZLUN SISTEMS SL, registered in the BORME of 6 October, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies must be published by law, has the construction of residential buildings as its business purpose. AXENTIA TRADE SL, in the BORME of 8 October, will build, refurbish, renovate and maintain buildings, with plumbing, carpentry and electrical work. Both start with 3,000 euros of capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company.
- A slow week for new companies, though half of them aim to build. The Segrià comarca adds four new companies, against the 12 counted in the edition of 6 October. Two of those four, 50 per cent, are created for construction. Of every ten new companies in the 21 comarcas that CASAS.ES publishes on 13 October, two are in property or construction (114 of 556, 20.5 per cent). In the Segrià it is five in every ten, and among those comarcas only Ibiza shows a higher share. The registrations appear in the BORME of 6 and 8 October.
- Pig farming in Alcarràs and software in Lleida close the list. PIGTEAM SL has its registered office in Alcarràs to provide agricultural services and for intensive pig fattening, and WYYRMIND TECHNOLOGY SL, in the city of Lleida, for computer programming, according to the BORME of 8 October. The four together have 12,000 euros of capital.
Four homes of 68 to 117 metres plus a standalone house over a 72-metre plot accept offers in Lleida until 14 and 15 October

- Three Lleida homes enter their last day of bidding on Wednesday 14. They are on the Portal de Subastas, the official auction website of the BOE, Spain's Official State Gazette, where courts and public bodies auction property and anyone who registers can bid. Still open are the 117-metre home, the home of 95 built metres and the home of 73 built and 64 usable metres. Their buildings have a median CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, of 141,164, 131,817 and 121,005 euros, all three below the capital's median of 174,892 euros.
- Who is selling and how to bid. Three of the nine open auctions in the comarca are court auctions, a public sale ordered by a court. The other six are called by a public administration. To bid, you must register on the portal and lodge the deposit, the money that must be paid up front in order to bid. Each edicto, the official notice of the auction, sets out the conditions.
- A whole standalone house joins the capital's line-up. It is a two-storey house on a 72-metre plot, the only home in its building, with a CasasValue of 237,650 euros, the highest among the homes up for auction in the city. It takes offers until 14 October.
- The fifth closes on Thursday 15. The home of 68 built and 59 usable metres in the city of Lleida takes bids until 15 October. Its notice does not allow it to be matched to a building on the CasasValue map.
- Three other flat auctions ended before the 8th. Bidding for the flats of 116 built metres and 101 built metres ended on 5 October, and for another home in Lleida, with no size given in the notice, on 7 October.
Lleida premises of 294 metres and almost a hectare of irrigable Corbins land open for bidding

- In the capital, 294 metres of shop floor await bids. The shop unit of 294 built metres in the capital takes bids until 14 October. Its floor area is two and a half times that of the largest home up for auction in the city, the 117-metre one. It is in a building with a median CasasValue of 233,223 euros per home.
- Garage space and storeroom, same closing date. Until 14 October, a garage space of 10 usable metres and a storeroom of 45 registered metres remain open, both in the city of Lleida.
- Corbins offers almost a hectare of irrigated land. The rural estate of market garden and irrigated land with 9,152 metres of ground, according to the Catastro, is in Corbins and takes offers until 15 October. It is the only asset under auction in the comarca outside the capital.
The agriculture department opens five lines for cattle farmers, beekeepers and pear cooperatives

- Catalan cattle farming has three calls to deal with lumpy skin disease. The Generalitat's Departament d'Agricultura published in the BDNS, the National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants, three calls for cattle farms affected by lumpy skin disease: loss of income, of 8 October, condemned offal, of the 5th, and other costs of the official measures, of the 7th. The last two are de minimis, small grants subject to a per-company ceiling set by the European Union.
- Beekeepers and rabbit farmers can also apply. A de minimis line of 7 October compensates for lost productivity in beekeeping and rabbit farming. Who can apply, how much it pays and until when, in the official record.
- Pear cooperatives get a dedicated call. The call of 8 October is aimed at cooperatives and other agri-food companies hit by the drought, the heat in pear growing and the DANA storm in the Baix Ebre and the Montsià in the 2024 to 2025 season.
Lleida city council backs its old town while the Generalitat launches equality, jobs and reading lines

- Lleida city council hands out grants to bring the old town to life. Lleida city council registered on 8 October a call for non-competitive grants, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, to promote economic activity in the city's old town.
- Money for equality plans and for training contracts. The Departament d'Igualtat i Feminisme offers grants for equality plans in companies and organisations with fewer than 50 people, with money from the European Social Fund Plus, the European Union's main fund for jobs, training and inclusion. The Catalan Public Employment Service opens another for training contracts for professional practice. Both were published on 9 October.
- The ICF lends working capital to leisure companies. The ICF Lleure line of the Institut Català de Finances, the Generalitat's public bank, offers loans on preferential terms, not grants, to leisure companies and self-employed people based in Catalonia. It was registered on 6 October.
- Alcoletge helps families with schoolbooks. Alcoletge town council offers grants for textbooks and school materials for families at the Colegio Público de Alcoletge and the Instituto La Caparrella, published on 5 October.
- Reading also gets its own call. The Generalitat's Oficina de Suport a la Iniciativa Cultural published on 5 October a call to draw up and carry out municipal and supramunicipal plans to promote reading.
