E.C. Casas and COVSA gather 6 of the 13 works that have a builder in the Pontevedra comarca, 40% of the amount
Two builders hold works tendered at 2,356,903 euros before VAT spread across Poio, Vilaboa, Cerdedo-Cotobade and A Lama. This week 4 works in the Pontevedra comarca gain a contractor, among them the urban maintenance of Pontevedra city council, which goes to Elsamex, and A Lama opens its health centre to bids 2 days after the agreement was published. 5 tenders still admit bids, and the largest by amount, the Tenorio municipal sports hall, in Cerdedo-Cotobade, closes on 6 October.
A Lama now takes bids from companies to refurbish its health centre, tendered at 185,950 euros before VAT

- The agreement is published and 2 days later comes the tender. The agreement between the Servicio Gallego de Salud, the Galician health service, and the concello, the town council, to refurbish the health centre appeared on 29 September in the Base de Datos Nacional de Subvenciones (BDNS), the National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants. On 1 October the refurbishment went out to licitación, a public tender, in which companies bid to carry out works or a service. It is tendered at 185,950 euros sin IVA, that is, before VAT.
- Companies can submit a bid until 21 October. The file, handled by the mayor's office of A Lama, is on the Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders for works and services. The agreement is not a grant that a resident can apply for: it is an arrangement between public bodies, and its amount does not appear in the publication.
- Another 3 council contracts are already listed as resolved. The Plataforma updated them on 28 September as resolved, which means the tender is over and the contract has been closed. They were tendered at 150,418 euros before VAT between the three. The improvement of the Cabalar, Raíces and Porto roads goes to Construcciones E.C. Casas. The improvements to the sports hall and the façade of the same hall are listed with no company published.
Elsamex, Edigrup, E.C. Casas and Coviastec gain 4 contracts this week, tendered at 3,476,358 euros before VAT

- Elsamex will maintain the streets of the city of Pontevedra. The minor works on streets and public spaces in the urban area of the city of Pontevedra, tendered at 2,231,405 euros before VAT, have been listed as awarded to Elsamex Gestión de Infraestructuras since this week. Award, adjudicación in Spanish, is the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work.
- Poio has a new contractor on 2 works. The building that will become a seniors' centre, tendered at 874,107 euros before VAT, goes to Edigrup Global, and the resurfacing of the road between Pedaporta and Combarro, tendered at 208,752 euros before VAT, to Construcciones E.C. Casas.
- The Baños de San Xusto will get a refreshment kiosk and bathing pools. The project in Cerdedo-Cotobade, which also restores the channel and the mills, tendered at 162,094 euros before VAT, is listed as awarded to Coviastec.
- COVSA and E.C. Casas add up to 6 of the 13 works with a named company. They account for 40% of the tendered amount, spread across 4 councils. COVSA, the company Construcciones Obras y Viales, has 3 works tendered at 1,742,667 euros before VAT: the pedestrian path between Portosanto and Campelo, in Poio, commissioned by the Diputación, the provincial council, which mainly serves small towns, and which this week moves to resolved contract, the resurfacing of Peirao do Covelo and the rainwater drainage in Cerdedo-Cotobade. E.C. Casas adds another 3 tendered at 614,236 euros before VAT with the Estrada Vella de Paredes, in Vilaboa, the one in Poio and the one in A Lama.
- Another 5 works remain with the contract resolved. In Cerdedo-Cotobade, the river pools of Viascón, tendered at 99,433 euros before VAT, belong to Deseño Enxeñaría e Xestión de Obras and the surroundings of the Meilide chapel to Construcciones Caldevergazo. At the Diputación headquarters, the lighting of the plenary hall belongs to Sielvigo and the boiler room to Deseño. In Vilaboa, Alcouce-Figueirido is listed with no company published.
5 tenders still admit bids and the biggest, Tenorio's municipal sports hall job, closes on 6 October

- The other open tenders were published this week. Besides the A Lama health centre, bids are accepted until 19 October for the modular unit for the Combarro tourist office, in Poio, tendered at 93,381 euros before VAT, and the bus stop signs for O Campo Lameiro, which it shares with two municipalities outside the comarca, at 26,166. The access road to Baltar, in Ponte Caldelas, tendered at 55,405 euros before VAT, until the 22nd.
- Tenorio closes on 6 October, the same date this issue comes out. The refurbishment of the structure and the exterior of the municipal sports hall, in Cerdedo-Cotobade, tendered at 816,361 euros before VAT, is 69% of what was open. Anyone without a bid ready will not make it now.
- 7 files await a decision, tendered at 4,512,667 euros before VAT. They are under assessment, that is, the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company. Only the ornamental lighting of Poio moved this week. Unchanged are the Nave da Música de Barro, the park on Calle Luís Otero, the Casaldorado water network, the Christmas lighting, the turf of the Manolo Barreiro pitch and the energy efficiency of a children's centre, the largest by amount.
- Two deadlines have already closed. The Casfalcón rural road, in Vilaboa, closed to bids on 5 October, and the climate control of the business centre on the Barro industrial estate on the 1st.
Only 1 among the 4 companies this week postdates the gazette of 28 September, and it is born in Poio

- The 3 in the city of Pontevedra had already been counted. They appeared in the BORME of 28 September, the Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies, capital changes and closures must be published by law. That day closed the previous week, so last week's edition already included them.
- The only later one is Narcodiario, in Poio. Devoted to publishing and news, it appears in the BORME of 30 September with 5,500 euros, more than half of the 10,200 that the four bring together. Share capital is the money the partners put in when founding the company, not its turnover.
- No builders or property companies this time. The four, spread between the gazette of the 28th and that of the 30th, are in services: vehicle hire, education, hospitality and publishing.
Only 2 of the 21 BDNS publications are open to applicants, and Salcedo receives 42,000 euros

- Medio Rural opens grants for farming organisations. The order of the Consellería del Medio Rural, the Galician rural affairs department, dated 30 September, brings rules and a convocatoria, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, for professional organisations and farming associations. The publication gives neither amount nor deadline: they are in the linked official record.
- A training bursary for university graduates. It is offered by the public foundation Galicia Europa in a resolution of 28 September. The conditions and the closing date can be checked in its record.
- The Xunta signs 9 Galicia Suma Talento agreements. This is the programme for bringing the migrant population into work run by the Consellería de Empleo, Comercio y Emigración, which agrees it with 9 organisations, among them Cruz Roja and the Federación de Escuelas Familiares Agrarias de Galicia. They were published on 2 October and cannot be applied for: they are agreements with organisations already designated.
- A music association in Salcedo receives 42,000 euros. It is a subvención nominativa, a grant earmarked for a named recipient, which nobody else can apply for, from Pontevedra city council for the association's bands and choir, published on 2 October.
