Three COVSA contracts take 73% of the tendered value of resolved works in Poio, Vilaboa and Cerdedo Cotobade

The Pontevedra comarca counts seven resolved works contracts, and the three won by COVSA, led by the Portosanto promenade in Poio, add up to 1,742,667 euros tendered, 73% of the budget. Three tenders worth 1,064,146 euros close between 1 and 6 October, while Pontevedra City Council shares out 330,000 euros among sports clubs.

The promenade from Portosanto to Campelo, in Poio, is the largest project. The Diputación, the provincial council, resolved in favour of Construcciones Obras y Viales (COVSA) the pedestrian improvement of 1,100 metres of the EP 0601 road, tendered at 1,512,122 euros before VAT, some 1,375 euros of budget per metre. COVSA adds two more projects and reaches 1.7 million. Poio awarded it the resurfacing of Rúa Peirao do Covelo, in Samieira, tendered at 200,371 euros (record), and Cerdedo Cotobade the rainwater drainage of the square in Cabanelas, in Viascón, at 30,174 (record). Outside the comarca it also has the EP 8004 in Portas, tendered at 447,700 euros (record).
Vilaboa wraps up its two street improvement schemes. Construcciones E.C. Casas will carry out the one on Estrada Vella de Paredes, tendered at 338,688 euros (record). The first phase of Alcouce-Figueirido, tendered at 142,981 euros, appears as resolved with no company published on the Platform, with the record updated on 14 September (record).
Cerdedo Cotobade hands out the river pools of Viascón and the chapel of Meilide. Deseño Enxeñaría e Xestión de Obras will improve the pools, tendered at 99,433 euros (record), and Construcciones Caldevergazo will landscape the area around the chapel, tendered at 52,378 (record), both with the record updated on 18 September.

The Barro air conditioning job leaves just two days to bid

Cerdedo Cotobade seeks bids worth 816,000 euros for the Tenorio sports hall. The municipal Pleno, the full council, is tendering the structure and envelope of the Pabellón Municipal de Tenorio, 77% of everything open in the comarca. The air conditioning for the Barro industrial estate is the most urgent. The Diputación is seeking a company, at 179,992 euros before VAT, to air condition the Centro de Servizos e Apoio Empresarial, the business support centre on the industrial estate. See the tender.
The Casfalcón road, in Vilaboa, is the job for small firms. The Concello, the town council, is improving that rural road for 67,794 euros before VAT. See the tender.

Vértice Hábitat puts in 50,000 of the 72,900 euros of the ten new companies, nine domiciled in the capital city of the province

Real estate and holding companies weigh more than the other eight together

Vértice Hábitat starts out with 50,000 euros to buy, build and let. Based in the city of Pontevedra and listed in the BORME, the official companies gazette, of 24 September, it will deal in homes, commercial premises, industrial units and land, where the median CasasValue of a home is 355,450 euros. BORME. Anegral Inversiones, a holding company with 3,000 euros, appeared on the 22nd (BORME).
One in building work and another in tourist accommodation in Barro. Construcciones Blomaka appears in the BORME of 21 September with 1,000 euros (BORME). That same day, a company based in Barro is set up with 3,000 euros to run tourist flats and rural cottages (BORME).
Two more will hire out vehicles without a driver. Alquiler de Vehículos Pontevedra, with 5,000 euros in the BORME of 23 September (BORME), and another in hire and parking with 3,000 euros in that of the 28th (BORME). The week is rounded off by a beauty centre on the 23rd (BORME), a restaurant on the 25th (BORME) and a bar and an academy on the 28th (BORME).
Pontevedra City Council shares out 330,000 euros among its clubs. It is for non-profit organisations with no economic activity, with 15 calendar days to apply from its publication in the Boletín Oficial de la Provincia, the provincial gazette (call for applications).

Municipality by municipality, Poio saw the records for the Portosanto to Campelo promenade and the Samieira resurfacing updated on 22 September. Vilaboa has its Paredes and Alcouce street improvements resolved and the Casfalcón road open to bids, Cerdedo Cotobade hands out the Viascón pools and tenders the Tenorio sports hall, and in Barro the Diputación is seeking a company to air condition its industrial estate and a tourist accommodation company is set up. The city of Pontevedra accounts for nine of the ten new companies and the 330,000 euro grant for clubs. Ponte Caldelas, A Lama and O Campo Lameiro had no contracts, court auctions or new company registrations this week.
