Navaconcejo tenders its roads for 332,460 euros before VAT, 64 % of all the Plasencia comarca has open

The Navaconcejo roads alone outweigh the other two works the Plasencia comarca has open put together. The three add up to 521,097 euros before VAT, with deadlines closing between this Wednesday and 19 October. The DOE, the Extremadura official gazette, also published an application for a permit to explore for geothermal energy across five municipalities that include Cabezabellosa and Plasencia city.

The geothermal notice took 34 days to reach the DOE

An application to explore for geothermal energy covers five municipalities in the comarca. The Junta de Extremadura, the regional government, gave final admission to the application for the Plasencia geothermal resources exploration permit, no. 10D10403-00, which covers Cabezabellosa, Casas del Castañar, Malpartida de Plasencia, Oliva de Plasencia and the city of Plasencia. Torremenga opens the way to developing its UE 6 SR action unit. The full council (Pleno) approved on 9 September the development management agreement for UE 6 SR under its Normas Subsidiarias, the town's planning rules. Malpartida de Plasencia redraws the Casa Inés through road. The estudio de detalle, a detailed planning study, that adjusts the building lines in area OP-4 of the Plan General, the municipal general plan, received initial approval on 14 September and is open to public consultation. It appeared in the BOP on 21 September (BOP) and in the DOE on 22 September (DOE).

Navaconcejo seeks a contractor to mend its municipal roads. The full council is tendering the repair, rebuilding and improvement of the municipality's roads for 332,460.18 euros before VAT. The tender was published on 21 September and takes bids until 19 October. See the tender.
Montehermoso refurbishes the two futsal courts at its sports centre. It comes to 129,136.42 euros before VAT in a tender published on 14 September that takes bids until 4 October. See the tender.
Cabezuela del Valle takes bids for San Antonio only until this Wednesday. The works around the park go out for 59,500 euros before VAT. They were published on 15 September and bidding ends on 30 September. See the tender.

Tornavacas picks who will light up its heritage and Jerte already had a company for the Eras

Jerte is the only contract already resolved

ARCO IRIS T.T. Suministros will brighten up Tornavacas. The mayor's office awarded the supply contract, tendered for 31,166.70 euros before VAT, for benches, illuminated 3D letters, decorative lighting and an LED almond tree, and the record was updated on 22 September. See the award.
Recursos Forestales will restore the Eras in Jerte in phase 2. The contract, tendered for 44,183.61 euros before VAT, has been listed as resolved since 17 September. See the record.
Montehermoso had not yet chosen who will put solar panels on its industrial building. The solar installation for self-consumption on the municipal industrial building, tendered for 86,421.38 euros before VAT and published on 30 June, was listed as assessing bids at its latest update, on 6 July. The Junta enters its grants for balancing work and family as Plasencia city council signs two direct agreements

16 of the 38 grants registered this week are for the wildfires

The Junta registers its 2026 call to help self-employed workers and SMEs reconcile job and home. The Secretaría General de Igualdad y Conciliación, the regional equality and work-life balance department, entered it in the BDNS, the national grants database, on 21 September, under Decreto 87/2025 of 29 July. It is aimed at self-employed workers and SMEs in Extremadura, and the amount and the application deadline are set out in the call. Call in the BDNS.
Plasencia city council signs two direct grant agreements. It registered in the BDNS the 2026 agreement with the Asociación Megagumi on 22 September (BDNS) and the one with the Fundación Triángulo on 25 September (BDNS). They are direct awards and do not open a call.
The Junta enters 16 grants for tourism hit by the wildfires. The Dirección General de Turismo, the regional tourism directorate, registered 16 records on 21 September under Decreto-ley 7/2025, a regional decree-law, for tourism businesses in Extremadura affected by the wildfires. The register does not say in which municipality each business is. One of the records in the BDNS.

The DOE published on 22 September the application for the Plasencia geothermal permit, which covers Cabezabellosa, the city of Plasencia, Casas del Castañar, Malpartida de Plasencia and Oliva de Plasencia. Malpartida de Plasencia also put the Casa Inés through road out for consultation and Torremenga published the agreement for its UE 6 SR. Navaconcejo, Montehermoso and Cabezuela del Valle are tendering works, Tornavacas awarded its illuminated heritage contract and Jerte already had a company for the Eras, and Plasencia city council registered two direct grant agreements. No companies with a registered office in the comarca were incorporated that week, as the BORME, the national gazette of company filings, shows. Serradilla, Piornal, Carcaboso, Alagón del Río, Galisteo, El Torno, Tejeda de Tiétar, Santibáñez el Bajo, Mirabel, Valdeobispo, Pasarón de la Vera, Aceituna, Torrejón el Rubio, Arroyomolinos de la Vera, Barrado, Cabrero, Aldehuela de Jerte, Valdastillas, Santa Cruz de Paniagua, Villar de Plasencia, Rebollar and Gargüera are absent from tenders and official notices these seven days.
