Orpesa racks up four court auctions, beating 11 of the other 20 comarcas covered today
Orpesa holds 4 of the 6 court auctions in the Plana Alta comarca, more than 11 of the other 20 comarcas analysed for today, and the largest home, 147 square metres in Benicàssim, takes its last bids on Monday 5 October. Torreblanca, Cabanes and the Provincial Hospital have already settled on contractors for the green space, the Plaza Constitución and the laboratory, three projects with a combined tender budget of 451,900 euros excluding VAT. Nine more tenders, put out at 844,759 euros excluding VAT, have not chosen a contractor yet.
Torreblanca, Cabanes and the Provincial Hospital pick firms for three projects tendered for 451,899.58 euros combined

- Torreblanca has chosen who will regenerate the green space on Calle Carles Salvador. This week the Governing Board of Torreblanca Town Council awarded the works to RAVI OBRAS, that is, it chose that company to carry them out. The works, put out to tender at 227,298.98 euros excluding VAT, that is, before tax, came out in July as a public tender in which companies submit bids, and they are the largest of those awarded this week in the comarca.
- Cabanes renews the Plaza Constitución. The Mayor's Office of Cabanes completed the award, the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work, and chose a company for the urban renewal of the square, put out to tender at 95,200 euros excluding VAT. The bidding period closed on 7 September.
- The Provincial Hospital rebuilds its haematology laboratory. The Economic Directorate of the Consorcio Hospitalario Provincial de Castellón awarded EULEN, a Spanish cleaning, security and maintenance services company, the remodelling of the laboratory, put out to tender at 129,400.60 euros excluding VAT. Its tender to renovate three ground floor toilets, put out at 29,981.19 euros excluding VAT, closed for bids on 29 September and still has no company.
Four homes in Orpesa, Benicàssim and Cabanes remain open to bidders, the largest with 147 square metres

- The largest home, 147 square metres in Benicàssim, closes on Monday. The court auction, a public sale ordered by a court in which anyone can bid, ends on 5 October. It is a house of 147 square metres built in a 1934 building, with a median CasasValue of 425,598 euros. CasasValue is the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home.
- Orpesa keeps two more houses open for bids. One of 77 built square metres closes on 7 October on the Portal de Subastas, the official website of the BOE, Spain's Official State Gazette, where courts and public bodies auction property. Another of 64 built square metres opened on 25 September and closes on 15 October.
- In Cabanes, a 74 square metre home is now open to bidders. A house of 74 built square metres on a 37 square metre plot went up for auction on 24 September and takes bids until 14 October.
- Two Orpesa sales are already over. The auction of a 1,023 square metre plot ended on 28 September and that of a home of 51 built square metres on 30 September.
Cabanes awaits bidders until 13 October for the La Ribera padel court, 112,611 euros

- La Ribera de Cabanes will get a padel court. The Mayor's Office of Cabanes is still accepting bids until 13 October for the padel court and the improvement of the sports area, put out to tender at 112,611.18 euros excluding VAT. It is the only tender with bidding still open in the comarca.
- Castellón airport is reviewing bids to build a warehouse in Benlloc. The company Aeropuerto de Castellón closed bidding on 30 August for the design and construction of the warehouse, put out to tender at 251,090 euros excluding VAT.
- Torreblanca extends its cemetery. The fifth phase, put out to tender at 130,578.51 euros excluding VAT, has been under review since bidding closed on 10 September, so the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company.
- Cabanes, Benicàssim and Vilanova d'Alcolea are yet to pick firms for four more works and one service. Still under review are the Torre la Sal tourist office, the air conditioning of the La Ribera sociocultural centre and the maintenance of the swimming pools in Cabanes, the refurbishment of the council chamber in Benicàssim and Calle Joc de la Tella in Vilanova d'Alcolea. Together with the Provincial Hospital toilets, the comarca's nine tenders without a company add up to 844,758.90 euros excluding VAT.
Orpesa registers the sole company formed in the Plana Alta, a tourist accommodation firm with 30,000 euros

- A tourist accommodation firm starts life in Orpesa with 30,000 euros. The Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil, the BORME, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, published its incorporation on 24 September. Its 30,000 euros are share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company, not its turnover. Its corporate purpose, the activity it will carry out, is non-hotel tourist accommodation, and it is the only new company registered in the comarca this week.
- The Generalitat gives money directly to two associations, the advertising companies' one and the designers' one. The Regional Secretariat for Communication granted a direct grant to COMUNITAD, the association of Valencian advertising communication companies, and another to the Asociación de Diseñadores de la Comunitat Valenciana. Neither can be applied for: each association is named in its resolution.
- Grants have been called for those starting out in farming. This week the Agencia Valenciana de Fomento y Garantía Agraria called the grants for young and new farmers to set up their holdings in the Comunitat Valenciana. Who can apply, the amount and the deadline are in the call for applications, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant.
