Astudillo puts a duplex up for bidding, the one auction in its comarca against six in the León comarca

One auction and one newly formed company is all the Palencia comarca records, while the León comarca reaches six of each and the median of 21 comarcas published that day is three auctions and five companies. The auction is a duplex in Astudillo taking bids until 15 October, the company is in hospitality and chooses the city of Palencia as its base with 13,000 euros, and the Castilla y León regional Department of Mobility (Consejería de Movilidad) opens grants to help young people get their driving licence.

Astudillo hosts the comarca's sole property auction these days. On 25 September the Auction Portal opened the court auction of a duplex in Astudillo, which accepts bids until 15 October. The notice does not give the floor area of the home and Astudillo has no publishable CasasValue, so it is worth reading the official listing before bidding.
A hospitality company with 13,000 euros of share capital opens in Palencia city. HT HERTU, S.L. (a Spanish private limited company) is set up to run bars, cafés, restaurants and takeaway food, according to its stated corporate purpose, and the BORME, the official gazette of the Companies Register, published its incorporation on 28 September (see the entry). It is the only new company of the week in the comarca. It opens in a city with a median CasasValue of 152,012 euros per home.

Palencia city council pavements, the Grijota nursery school and a street in Osorno la Mayor move towards works

Three in every four euros go to pavements in the provincial capital

Palencia city council's accessibility and pavement works, with the contract already resolved. Palencia city council (Ayuntamiento de Palencia) brought out targeted accessibility and pavement improvements, put out to tender for 403,195.94 euros excluding VAT. The deadline for bids closed on 27 July and the contract is listed as resolved, although the Platform has not yet published the company.
Grijota is still choosing who will enlarge the La Noria nursery school. The Palencia provincial council (Diputación de Palencia) is assessing bids to extend the nursery school building, put out to tender for 79,968 euros excluding VAT. The deadline closed on 10 August and it is still being assessed, with no company yet.
Osorno la Mayor will pave another stretch of its calle Santa Vera Cruz. The works, put out to tender for 64,462.82 euros excluding VAT, closed their bidding period on 1 September and are already resolved. It is the smallest of the three neighbourhood works in the comarca.

Rural Agenda rules for town councils and car licence grants for the young, both open to applicants

Seven of every eleven grants come from the provincial council

Town councils have rules for funding their Urban Agenda plans. On 24 September the Palencia provincial council published the rules of the Programa de Extensión de la Agenda Rural, its Rural Agenda extension programme, which shares out through a competitive procedure the money for municipalities to draw up their action plans. The rules say which town councils can apply and until when. That same day it registered the Sembrando Futuro agreement with the Fundación Empresa Familiar de Castilla y León, a family business foundation, for vocational and career guidance.
Young people in Castilla y León get grants towards a car licence. On 28 September the Department of Mobility published the order calling for grants to obtain a class B driving licence, aimed at young people in Castilla y León. Who can apply, how much and until when are set out in the call.
Palencia Club de Fútbol and the Residencia Premio Caneja close the provincial money of the week. On 25 September the provincial council registered its agreement with Palencia Club de Fútbol for the 2026/2027 season and on the 28th a direct grant for the Residencia Premio Caneja. This is money that arrives by agreement or directly, not through open calls.

Between 22 and 29 September the Palencia comarca made news of its own with the Astudillo duplex that went to court auction on the 25th, with bids accepted until 15 October, and with the hospitality company with 13,000 euros of share capital that appeared in the BORME on the 28th whose registered office is in Palencia city. Still on their way, with no dated news this week, are the accessibility and pavement works of Palencia city council and calle Santa Vera Cruz in Osorno la Mayor, both already resolved, and the La Noria nursery school extension in Grijota, which is assessing bids. The Tierra de Campos villages that carry the name in their own, Abarca de Campos, Autillo de Campos, Baquerín de Campos, Becerril de Campos, Belmonte de Campos, Boada de Campos, Bárcena de Campos, Guaza de Campos, Marcilla de Campos, Meneses de Campos, Monzón de Campos, Pedraza de Campos, Piña de Campos, Población de Campos, Requena de Campos, Revenga de Campos, Ribas de Campos, San Cebrián de Campos, San Mamés de Campos, Támara de Campos, Villamartín de Campos, Villarmentero de Campos and Villerías de Campos, had no auction, contract or new company directly affecting them in those eight days. Nor did Husillos, Abia de las Torres, Amayuelas de Arriba, Ampudia, Amusco, Arconada, Autilla del Pino, Boadilla de Rioseco, Boadilla del Camino, Calzada de los Molinos, Capillas, Cardeñosa de Volpejera, Carrión de los Condes, Castil de Vela, Castrillo de Villavega, Castromocho, Cervatos de la Cueza, Cisneros, Espinosa de Villagonzalo, Frechilla, Frómista, Fuentes de Nava, Fuentes de Valdepero, Itero de la Vega, Lantadilla, Loma de Ucieza, Lomas, Manquillos, Mazariegos, Mazuecos de Valdeginate, Melgar de Yuso, Moratinos, Nogal de las Huertas, Osornillo, Paredes de Nava, Perales, Población de Arroyo, Pozo de Urama, Riberos de la Cueza, San Román de la Cuba, Santa Cecilia del Alcor, Santoyo, Torremormojón, Valde-Ucieza, Valle del Retortillo, Villacidaler, Villada, Villaherreros, Villalaco, Villalcázar de Sirga, Villalcón, Villalobón, Villamuera de la Cueza, Villanueva del Rebollar, Villarramiel, Villasarracino, Villaturde, Villaumbrales, Villodre, Villoldo and Villovieco. Their town councils can consult, since 24 September, the rules that the Palencia provincial council published so that municipalities can prepare Urban Agenda plans within the Rural Agenda.
