Roofing the Icod el Alto sports court, which went to tender at 918,856 euros, has now found its contractor

In the island's Norte de Tenerife comarca, roofing the sports court of Icod el Alto, in Los Realejos, went to tender at 918,856 euros and has now found its contractor. That contract alone weighs nearly the same as the other six recorded with a company this week, which total 930,902. Builders have six works open until 22 October, worth 1,601,306 euros. Until the 14th bidding is open on 65 metres with two bedrooms in Icod de los Vinos, and La Orotava sets aside 140,000 euros for its students.

The Icod el Alto court weighs more than the other four together

The Icod el Alto court will have a roof and there is now someone to build it. Los Realejos town council records as settled the roofing of the Icod el Alto multi-sports court, meaning the tender is over and the contract has been closed. It went out at 918,856 euros sin IVA, the starting price before VAT, like every amount in this edition. Its contractor bears a personal name and is not published. The job is bigger than the other four in this section together. Kept apart is the Los Realejos municipal swimming pool, of 9,791,586 euros, with a company since earlier.
LINNEO BOREAL will refurbish the Estadio Juan Valiente in Los Silos. The refurbishment of its facilities, tendered at 112,059 euros, is recorded as awarded, the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work.
Icod de los Vinos lights two venues and Buenavista del Norte waits its turn. The lighting of the Las Charnecas basketball court, of 25,474 euros, was published on 5 October and is under assessment, meaning the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company. At the same stage remains the lighting of the Campo de Fútbol El Molino, of 269,542. The Campo de Fútbol Los Cabildos, of 404,483, closed its deadline on 28 September and awaits a contractor.

El Sauzal, La Orotava, Santa Úrsula and La Victoria take bids for six works worth 1,601,306 euros

Four dates for submitting a bid, from 15 to 22 October

Urban mobility in El Sauzal seeks a construction firm. A licitación is a public tender, in which companies bid to carry out works or a service. The largest of the six open is the improvement of urban mobility, of 490,451 euros, with bids until 20 October. It was announced on 30 September by the Plataforma de Contratación del Sector Público, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders for works and services. The same day is the deadline for the La Corujera state school, in Santa Úrsula, where the Canary Islands government replaces the top storey slab, the lighting and the metal joinery for 137,360.
La Orotava tenders two resurfacing jobs. Published on 2 October and due by the 22nd, they are the Camino Cañeño, of 375,427 euros, which also renews the water supply and storm drains, and the streets La Fariña and La Estopa, of 157,379.
La Victoria de Acentejo and El Cercadillo are still open. The resurfacing plan of La Victoria de Acentejo, of 251,748 euros, takes bids until 18 October. The esplanade of the Camino El Cercadillo, in Santa Úrsula, of 188,941, is the first to close, on the 15th.
Icod de los Vinos draws on the Cabildo dynamic system. A cabildo is the island government in the Canary Islands. Its sistema dinámico, or dynamic system, is an open list of approved companies that are then invited to bid for each job. From the Cabildo de Tenerife works system comes the pipework of the street Siervo de Dios and the Paseo Mencey de Ycodem, of 264,268 euros. Like the Las Canales water tank, of 168,024, it was announced this week and is already recorded as under assessment, although the Plataforma gives them 13 October as their deadline. Events companies have their own way in through the dynamic systems of Puerto de la Cruz and Los Realejos, with deadlines of 3 August 2027 and 31 March 2029.
Fifteen works already closed to bids go on without a company. They went out to tender at 9,653,267 euros, counting the two football grounds. More than half is the refurbishment of the Cine Chimisay in Puerto de la Cruz, a design and build contract of 4,997,280. On 6 October the deadline closed for the Jacaranda nursery school, of 170,217.

The Parque Juvenil La Centinela already has its construction firm. The transformation of the Parque Juvenil La Centinela, in Icod de los Vinos, tendered at 379,510 euros, is recorded as awarded to PICCONIA GEST.
Visant Tenerife resurfaces in La Orotava and SEÑALIZACIONES VILLAR paints El Sauzal. The resurfacing of the Camino Mamio and Los Cominos, tendered at 146,865 euros, appears as awarded to Visant Tenerife. The road markings of El Sauzal, of 124,853, go to SEÑALIZACIONES VILLAR.
El Tanque refurbishes its cemetery. CECIMON REFORMAS Y CONSTRUCCIONES is recorded as the winner of the improvement of the El Tanque cemetery, tendered at 106,114 euros. The self-cleaning toilet cabin in Garachico, of 61,500, is recorded as settled with OLPRIM INGENIERIA Y SERVICIOS.
With the court and the stadium that makes seven contracts. They went out to tender at 1,849,759 euros. The Icod el Alto roof alone weighs nearly the same as the other six, which total 930,902. Already with a company from earlier were the pedestrian strip of the TF217, a road in La Matanza de Acentejo, of 514,019 euros, and the Las Cruces water tank, in Garachico, of 593,598.

What is left to bid in Icod de los Vinos

Bids remain open on the Icod de los Vinos home. The BOE is the Boletín Oficial del Estado, Spain's Official State Gazette, which publishes laws and official notices. Its Portal de Subastas, the BOE's official website where courts and public bodies auction property and anyone who registers can bid, keeps open the auction of a home in Icod de los Vinos. It is a subasta judicial, a public sale ordered by a court. The edicto, the official notice of the auction, describes 64.96 metres with two bedrooms and one bathroom, without saying whether they are built or usable. To decide how much to bid there is the CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home. In that building, the home right in the middle is worth 107,670 euros.
Bidding on the La Guancha plot closed on 5 October. The auction of an urban plot in La Guancha, with 699 metres of land according to the edicto (698.52), no longer takes bids. It is land with no building and so carries no CasasValue. The edicto announces 5 lots.

Two restaurant businesses and two other companies launch with 21,133 euros in La Orotava, Puerto de la Cruz and Los Silos

Puerto de la Cruz gathers almost half of the new capital

Hospitality puts its name to two of the four registrations. The BORME, the Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil or Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies, capital changes and closures must be published by law, recorded on 1 October the formation of KFEMUXU, in Puerto de la Cruz, a restaurant business with 10,000 euros of share capital. Share capital is the money the partners put in when founding the company, it is not turnover. PULE HOSTELERIA, in La Orotava, in restaurants and catering, starts out with 3,000.
La Orotava and Los Silos complete the list. In the same gazette appear RIAL CAPITAL INVESTMENTS, in La Orotava, with 5,133 euros a broker in the wholesale trade of raw materials, and INTO THE MATRIX, in Los Silos, with 3,000, in education and consultancy. Neither is a property company or a builder.
Three town councils open grant calls. The Base de Datos Nacional de Subvenciones, the National Grants Database and official register of public grants, lists three municipal calls this week. A convocatoria, or call, is the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant. La Orotava sets aside 140,000 euros for study grants for resident pupils, to be applied for within the 30 calendar days following its publication in the provincial official gazette. El Sauzal reserves 20,000 euros for its 2026 sports grants, aimed at SMEs and at people with an economic activity. There are 10 working days, the days left once Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are excluded, from the day after that same publication. Tacoronte calls its second historical research prize, with a budget of 2,500 euros and applications until 2 November.

El Tanque refurbishes the cemetery, the toilet cabin in Garachico is recorded as settled, Santa Úrsula has El Cercadillo and the La Corujera school open, and La Victoria de Acentejo its resurfacing. Puerto de la Cruz has the Cine Chimisay awaiting a contractor and gains a hospitality company. Buenavista del Norte waits with the Campo Los Cabildos, Tacoronte, which calls a historical research prize, with the electricity supply of La Estación and La Matanza de Acentejo with the facade of its youth hostel. La Guancha saw off the bidding on a plot, and San Juan de la Rambla brings no works, bids, companies or grants in the gazettes this time.
