SATOCAN will expand the Los Realejos pool, 84% of the resolved sum recorded in the Norte de Tenerife comarca

In the Norte de Tenerife comarca, 761,260 euros of works excluding VAT are open for bids, including the resurfacing of La Victoria de Acentejo, worth 251,748 euros, until 18 October. Tacoronte puts up 50,000 euros for eurotaxis. In Icod de los Vinos bids are open on 65 metres of housing until 14 October.

Eight contracts in the Norte de Tenerife comarca, tendered at 11.6 million excluding VAT, now awarded or resolved

The Los Realejos pool is 84% of what has been awarded or resolved

SATOCAN wins the contract to refurbish and extend the Los Realejos swimming pool building. The Plataforma de Contratación, the Spanish public procurement platform, lists it as awarded in its 28 September update. It came out in March, put out to tender for 9,791,585.87 euros excluding VAT.
Garachico now has companies for its water and for its Hospital Residencia. HIDROTEC AGUAS is repairing the Las Cruces water tank, put out to tender for 593,597.69 euros excluding VAT. RICRAM MD CONSTRUCCIONES, with the file resolved this week, will build the toilets and ramps of the Hospital Residencia, put out to tender for 86,533.83 euros excluding VAT.
GEOCAN asfaltos is upgrading the pedestrian strip along the TF217 in La Matanza de Acentejo. The works, resolved this week, came out in July, put out to tender for 514,018.68 euros excluding VAT. In La Guancha the embankment on the El Convento road is listed as resolved, put out to tender for 437,294.12 euros excluding VAT and with no company published.
Santa Úrsula splits its fiestas among five companies with published names and gives TAGUA the water maintenance. The Fiestas Patronales 2026, the town's patron saint festivities, were put out to tender for 166,036.35 euros excluding VAT. The chlorination maintenance, put out to tender for 34,664.34 euros excluding VAT, went to TAGUA this week. Icod de los Vinos has resolved the Las Charnecas street lighting, put out to tender for 22,694.48 euros excluding VAT and with no company in the register.

El Sauzal, Icod, Puerto de la Cruz and La Victoria de Acentejo seek builders for 761,260 euros of works, excluding VAT

El Sauzal closes today and La Victoria in 18 days

Last day to bid for the El Sauzal paving works. The Town Council is looking for a company for the paving and improvement of several roads, put out to tender for 298,053.63 euros excluding VAT, with bids until 30 September.
La Victoria de Acentejo launches a tender to resurface the municipality. The 2026 resurfacing plan came out on 28 September, put out to tender for 251,748.31 euros excluding VAT, and takes bids until 18 October. It is the only one of the four published this week.
Icod and Puerto de la Cruz ask for bids on two smaller works. Icod de los Vinos takes bids until 2 October to bury the medium voltage lines in La Mancha, put out to tender for 41,241.34 euros excluding VAT, and Puerto de la Cruz until 6 October for a mixed refurbishment contract in lots, worth 170,217.02 euros excluding VAT. In Buenavista del Norte, the Los Cabildos football pitch, put out to tender for 404,483.32 euros excluding VAT, closed its bidding period on 28 September.

Twelve contracts in the Norte de Tenerife comarca are pending award, with 3,166,452 euros excluding VAT across eleven

Five works make up 77% of what is under assessment

The Asomada del Guirre sewerage heads the list of contracts pending award. Buenavista del Norte is reviewing bids for the sewerage network, put out to tender in July for 648,713.09 euros excluding VAT. Next come the Separata II of roads in Puerto de la Cruz and Los Príncipes in Los Realejos.
Icod, La Matanza and Los Silos are still waiting to hire a contractor for three facilities. Still under assessment are the La Centinela Youth Park, the facade of the Albergue Rural Juvenil, a rural youth hostel, and the Estadio Juan Valiente in Los Silos.
El Sauzal reviews bids for two works on road markings and energy saving. The road markings on several roads were put out to tender for 124,853.44 euros excluding VAT and the energy efficiency works at the Las Baboseras and El Casco cultural centres for 101,895.89 euros excluding VAT.
Puerto de la Cruz and La Victoria de Acentejo complete the list. Puerto de la Cruz is reviewing the photovoltaic canopy, worth 282,665.90 euros excluding VAT, and support for World Tourism Day. La Victoria de Acentejo has the covered terrace in the plaza de San Juan under assessment, put out to tender for 78,892.20 euros excluding VAT, and Los Realejos its dynamic system for events and shows, with no amount.

Bids open on a 65 metre home in Icod de los Vinos and 698 metres of land in La Guancha

Both court auctions sit in neighbouring northwest towns

The home at court auction in Icod de los Vinos measures 65 metres. It is in a 2009 building with nine homes and a median CasasValue of 107,670 euros per home. The court auction opened on 24 September and takes bids until 14 October.
In La Guancha a court auction that includes a plot of 698 registered metres is still open. The court auction closes on 5 October on the Portal de Subastas del BOE, the official auction portal.

Tacoronte puts up 50,000 euros for eurotaxis and Canarian social economy firms get investment grants

Only Tacoronte and El Sauzal say how much and until when

Tacoronte shares out 50,000 euros to buy eurotaxis. The eurotaxi call, published on 25 September, subsidises the purchase of taxis adapted for people with reduced mobility. SMEs and self-employed individuals with an economic activity can apply until 15 October.
Social economy companies in the Canary Islands have grants to invest. The Servicio Canario de Empleo, the regional employment service, published four calls for investment in the social economy on 24 September, and on the 23rd opened the PFAE 2026 call. The BDNS, the national grants database, does not yet publish their amount or deadline.
El Sauzal rewards photographs of the reineta apple. The Town Council competition, open since 24 September, awards 450 euros in prizes and accepts entries until 23 October.

Four new companies with 10,200 euros in the Norte de Tenerife comarca, a pair of them in Puerto de la Cruz

Puerto de la Cruz holds 6,000 of the 10,200 euros

Puerto de la Cruz adds two companies in catering and trade. ALJIMATE SL will run restaurants and event catering, and another new company will act as a sales agent in wholesale trade. Both appear in the BORME of 23 September, the official companies gazette.
San Juan de la Rambla gains a gym and Tacoronte a builder. The same gazette records a construction company registered in Tacoronte. ROYALFIT GYMCLUB SL will manage gyms and fitness centres from San Juan de la Rambla, according to the BORME of 25 September.

It is a week of contract awards in the Norte de Tenerife comarca. The Los Realejos pool takes almost all of the amount awarded or resolved, while La Matanza de Acentejo, Garachico and Santa Úrsula also close contracts. La Guancha and Icod de los Vinos add works already resolved and one open court auction each, a plot and a home. La Victoria de Acentejo, El Sauzal, Puerto de la Cruz and Icod are asking for bids, Buenavista del Norte and Los Silos are reviewing the ones they received, Tacoronte opens grants for eurotaxis and, with San Juan de la Rambla and Puerto de la Cruz, gains new companies. La Orotava only appears with two grants to local organisations and El Tanque this time records no works tendered, court auctions or companies registered in the official gazettes.
