The Marina Baixa comarca gathers more capital with 21 companies than the Barcelona comarca with 147
In the Marina Baixa comarca, the 21 newly created companies total 1,474,205 euros of capital, 1.4 times what the 147 in the Barcelona comarca gather, with two thirds coming from a single company in l'Alfàs del Pi. Villajoyosa, Altea, Polop and La Nucía have 9 works that still take offers, the four municipal grants of Benidorm and La Nucía hand out 190,600 euros and 136.78 built metres of housing await a bidder in Benidorm until Monday 5.
L'Alfàs del Pi sees a company born with 990,560 euros and La Nucía a gardening firm with 429,625

- One company in l'Alfàs del Pi contributes 990,560 euros on its own. The 21 new companies published from 28 September to 2 October in the Marina Baixa comarca add up to 1,474,205 euros of capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company, which is not turnover. That is 1.4 times the 1,032,926 euros of the 147 in the Barcelona comarca. 67 per cent comes from a single company, published on 1 October, which declares construction, trade, property and tourism and hospitality as its activities. It carries a person's name and we do not publish it. It is the largest new company in the day's 21 comarcas.
- A gardening firm in La Nucía starts out with 429,625 euros. JARDINERIA RSG SL is recorded in the BORME of 29 September, the Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies, capital changes and closures must be published by law. The other 19 start small, 18 with 3,000 euros and one with 20.
- Eight of the 21 declare property or building activity. Among them, ADEMAR TOP INVEST GROUP SL and CURVIA NUEVA SL in Villajoyosa, entered on 2 October, and SMF INVERSIONES PATRIMONIALES SL in Finestrat, from 30 September. Benidorm brings together 9 new companies, all of 3,000 euros, with HB BENIDORM SL in property brokerage and PLATINIUM SHARK BENIDORM 2026 SL in construction. The previous week there were 24 companies with 699,611 euros, less than half.
Nine works await offers in Villajoyosa, Altea, Polop and La Nucía, tendered at 7,133,689 euros excluding VAT

- The Barranco Refoio collector closes to offers on Monday 5. All the amounts in this block are tender figures and exclude VAT, that is, before VAT. Villajoyosa town council keeps in licitación, a public tender, in which companies bid to carry out works or a service, the flow diversion collector, with 4,407,395.71 euros. It is 62 per cent of what remains open in the Marina Baixa comarca. On Tuesday 6 the paving of the Montesol sector, of 140,808.09 euros, runs out, and on Thursday 8 the asphalting of streets and lanes in Altea, of 579,253.07 euros.
- La Nucía and Polop want a firm for their water route and for the Los Chorros fountain. The Ruta Patrimonial del Agua was published on 1 October with 639,812.96 euros and its deadline ends on the 21st. Polop published on the 2nd the repair of the fountain and the tank, of 145,984 euros, with a deadline until the 22nd.
- Villajoyosa puts the Avenida de Europa in Montiboli out to tender again. The first phase of the sector's urbanisation, of 921,541.39 euros, has its deadline open until 20 October. A first file is listed as resolved, that is, the tender is over and the contract has been closed, with no company name published. Also on the 20th, three works published on 30 September close, the blue trail from the Torres to the Racó del Conill, of 115,702.48 euros, and the tree planting on the access roundabouts to Torres, of 95,707.69, and to Paraís, of 87,483.49.
La Nucía puts a builder's name to the Museu de la Festa, the tourism building and Sant Rafel

- La Nucía has learned which firms will do three of its works. The Museu de la Festa, tendered at 1,210,742.69 euros excluding VAT, is in the hands of Construcciones y Movimientos Ovisa SL. The Information and Tourism building at the Ciudad Deportiva Camilo Cano, of 779,241.94 euros, goes to Becsa SAU, and the accessibility of the Sant Rafel hermitage, of 227,344.28 euros, to Tyosa Obras Publicas, S.L. These are the starting figures of the tender, not the price of the adjudicación, the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work.
- Altea la Vella and Confrides resolve two files. The four padel courts at the Joan Montiel complex, tendered at 260,583.09 euros, and the lift at the Centro Cultural de Confrides, at 112,822.27, moved this week to resolved, still with no company name.
- The Benidorm bullring, of 12,396,694.22 euros, is still the largest work. The refurbishment of the bullring as a cultural space was tendered at 1.7 times the sum of the nine open works. It is resolved in favour of a unión temporal de empresas, a temporary joint venture of several companies bidding together for a contract, which carries Gestaser and Urdecon in its name. A company with a similar name, Construcciones Urdecon SA, has the redevelopment of the old town of Finestrat, of 803,144.90 euros.
- Villajoyosa and Callosa d'en Sarrià put a company to three works. In Villajoyosa, the cemetery module is for ALDABA OBRAS REUNIDAS, S.L. and the lighting of the Torres promenade, for an electrical firm. In Callosa d'en Sarrià, the Fort de Bérnia falls to ARPA PATRIMONIO S.L. The junction on the Avenida de Benidorm closed its deadline on 28 September. The sale of two municipal plots in Villajoyosa and the asphalting of the Onaer lane are resolved without the buyer or the contractor being known.
- Four contracts remain under assessment, led by the Ruta del Agua gallery. That means the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company. The largest is the underground gallery of the Ruta del Agua in La Nucía, of 1,729,236.86 euros. The other three are the access control at the Les Nits car park, the lift at the pensioners' hall in Relleu and the lift at the Altea medical surgery.
Benidorm keeps a 136.78 built metre home in bidding until Monday 5 and Finestrat closed its own on Friday

- The Benidorm home takes bids for one more day. The home has 136.78 built square metres, common areas included, and takes bids until Monday 5 October. It is a subasta judicial, a public sale ordered by a court, and bidding takes place on the Portal de Subastas, the official website of the BOE, the Boletín Oficial del Estado, Spain's Official State Gazette, where anyone who registers can take part.
- Finestrat closed bidding on Friday 2 on a home that comes with a garage. The file brought the two assets together. The home is in a building of 135 homes put up in 2008, with a median of 259,535 euros in CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home.
Benidorm and La Nucía fund their four new grants with 190,600 euros and the Generalitat publishes another five lines

- Benidorm city council reserves 105,000 euros for associations. It does so with two lines, each with its convocatoria, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, published on 2 October in the Base de Datos Nacional de Subvenciones (BDNS), the National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants. The larger is for therapeutic and rehabilitation activities and the other for international cooperation projects, both for non-profit organisations. The window lasts 15 calendar days from the day after the extract comes out in the Boletín Oficial de la Provincia, the Provincial Official Gazette, where the provincial council and town halls publish their notices. We lack that extract's date and it is worth checking at the link.
- La Nucía subsidises its students' transport and gives until Friday 16 to apply. The rules of the grant, published on 1 October, reach from upper secondary and vocational training to bachelor's and master's degrees. The same day saw the rules of the No al Silencio painting competition, which takes entrants until 13 November.
- The Generalitat backs rural women entrepreneurs in the primary sector. The call is aimed at women resident in rural municipalities of the Comunitat Valenciana. We only know its title, with no list of municipalities, amount or deadline. Added to it are the grants for school transport and meals and three lines of forestry interventions (the first, the second and the third).
