Manises tenders the airport through road at 734,951 euros and five health centres will get new lifts

The Picassent ravine works, worth 8.2 million, alone outweigh the twelve other contests across the Horta Sud comarca now shut to offers with no contractor picked. Aldaia shares out 116,200 euros for the cars removed after the DANA, and three homes see bidding end today.

EULEN will restore the Alfafar town hall basement

• EULEN will restore the municipal basement in Alfafar. The Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders, records on 8 October that EULEN S.A., a Spanish cleaning, security and maintenance company, will restore the basement and another room of the Casa Consistorial, the town hall of Alfafar, damaged by the DANA, an isolated low-pressure system high in the atmosphere, which brought the flood of 29 October 2024. It was put out to tender, a public contest in which companies compete, at 97,497.39 euros before VAT, that is, before tax, and comes 709 days later, 21 days before the second anniversary.
• The health service picks firms for lifts and doors at its centres. The Manises Health Department awards KONE ELEVADORES the lifts of five health centres, tendered at 247,500 euros before VAT, and ASSA ABLOY ENTRANCE SYSTEMS SPAIN the automatic doors of its centres. Earlier it gave TECMO INSTALACIONES the flood barriers for the health centres in Aldaia.
• Mislata assigns contractors to an avenue and to El Quint pavilion. ABALA INFRAESTRUCTURAS will redevelop Avenida de la Paz and its surroundings, damaged by the DANA and paid for with the European Union Solidarity Fund, tendered at 2,090,896.91 euros before VAT. Nuvasports will repair El Quint pavilion in a lot tendered at 248,452.94 euros.
• Quart de Poblet, Alcàsser, Silla and Albal now have contractors. PAVASAL EMPRESA CONSTRUCTORA is rebuilding two streets on the Nou d'Octubre industrial estate and AVANT GESTIO TECNICA a play area at the sports centre in Quart de Poblet. In Alcàsser Carrer Llevant is being redeveloped, in Silla three streets, and in Albal the care home for the elderly is being refitted.

Manises tenders 734,951 euros of works on the airport through road

• Manises will renew the CV-370 up to the airport. Manises city council publishes on 8 October the resurfacing of the through road up to the V-11, the airport access road, and the lighting of a bridge, tendered at 734,951.31 euros before VAT, with bids until 28 October.
• Picassent resurfaces three industrial estates and Silla protects the Nau Jove. Picassent puts out to tender on 8 October the resurfacing of three industrial estates, 275,535.19 euros before VAT, with bids until the 28th. Silla is fireproofing the Nau Jove, until the 26th.
• Aldaia and Aena have the shortest deadlines. The repair of the Casa de la Música in Aldaia after the DANA stays open until Thursday 15 October. Aena, the company that runs the state network of airports, is renewing the old toilets of Terminal 1, in Manises, until the 16th. The Manises Health Department closes bids for the Hospital de Manises warehouse on the 17th.
• Silla, Torrent, Catarroja and Picanya complete the list. Still open are the bar of the Hogar de los Jubilados pensioners centre in Silla, the restoration of the Torre Medieval in Torrent and the Christmas lights in Picanya, all three until the 19th, and Plaza Cortes Valencianas in Catarroja, until the 22nd.

Three homes take bids until today and a fourth, in Alaquàs, until Wednesday

• Torrent and Manises auction the two largest homes. On the Portal de Subastas, the official website of the BOE, Spain's Official State Gazette, a home of 112 m² built in Torrent and another of 103 m² usable in Manises remain in court auction, a public sale ordered by a court, until today, Tuesday 13 October.
• Alcàsser and Alaquàs complete the four still open. The home in Alcàsser takes bids until today, Tuesday 13 October, and the one in Alaquàs until Wednesday 14 October. Their notices do not give the floor area.
• Alfafar, Torrent and Alaquàs closed four auctions. The home in Alfafar, in a building with a median CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES calculates per home, of 134,644 euros, closed on 5 October, as did another in Alaquàs. One of 56 m² usable in Torrent closed on the 8th and one of 104 m² built in Alaquàs on Monday 12 October.

Picassent decides who rebuilds a ravine channel worth 8.2 million

• Picassent weighs offers for its ravine rebuild. The rebuilding of the ravine in the Font del Omet neighbourhood, damaged by the DANA, tendered at 8,196,497.85 euros before VAT, closed to bids on 28 September. It adds up to more than the other twelve tenders in the comarca already closed to bids and without a contractor combined, 4,616,278 euros.
• Bids for a Manises road and pavilion sit under review. The rebuilding of the road, wall and utilities of calle Sequia Mislata, a street on the El Barranquet industrial estate in Manises, tendered at 2,354,345.62 euros, and the roof and accessibility works at the Luis Vilar sports hall await award, the step in which the contractor is chosen.
• Xirivella and Torrent await contractors for pipes and sewers. Aigües de l'Horta, the water company that contracts these works, has not yet chosen a contractor for the water network on Doctor Marañón and the storm drains of Plaza Alqueria Nova, in Xirivella, nor for the sewer on the Masía del Juez industrial estate, in Torrent, damaged by the DANA.
• Five more municipalities await a contractor. Awaiting a contractor are Carrer dels Argenters on the P.I. L'Alter industrial estate in Alcàsser, a roundabout on Avenida de Antic Regne in Quart de Poblet, the La Balaguera turf pitch in Albal, the project for its zone 11 in Benetússer and a council-owned home in Picanya. In Mislata the underground containers on Avenida de la Paz, and in Alaquàs the irrigation channel on calle Ramón y Cajal, passed their deadline without a contractor.

Torrent and Mislata lead 22 new companies, and ten eye bricks and mortar

• The BORME records 22 incorporations this week. The BORME, the official gazette of the Companies Register, records 22 incorporations in the comarca from 5 to 9 October and 76,007 euros of share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company.
• Ten will focus on property, construction or building services. In Torrent, MERCHISTON REAL ESTATE, PICANYA REAL ESTATE 2026 and MEMORIA PRESENTE. In Mislata, SERVIINTER 2026, URBANBOX SOLUCIONES and STAPS NUEVA CONSTRUCCION. Also ORGANIC REFORMA, in Manises, SCYLLA & CHARYBDIS, in Albal, and APOLO ESPACIOS INTEGRALES, in specialised construction in Alaquàs. The tenth, a plumbing and installations firm in Picassent, bears a person's name.
• DONJOYA opens in Silla and puts in the most capital, 10,000 euros. DONJOYA will manage other companies. The second by capital, VIDEOINTEGRACION MEDIA Y COMUNICACION, with 6,000 euros, will sell computer equipment in Xirivella. In Torrent, ODIN & SONS MEADERY will make cider and other fermented drinks, in Silla NEXUS APPS & AI 77 will write software, and in Massanassa FI-DASH TECHNOLOGIES is registered. Others bear a person's name.

Aldaia shares out 116,200 euros for the cars removed after the DANA

• LABORA keeps a dedicated programme for female freelancers. LABORA, the Valencian Employment and Training Service, opens on 5 October the grants to keep women in self-employment for 2026. Who, how much and until when, in the entry of the BDNS, the National Grants Database.
• Aldaia opens a second round for cars removed after the DANA. Its call of 6 October, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, shares out 116,200 euros among the owners of vehicles taken to the council pounds, with applications until 20 November. Mislata opens 40,000 euros for single-parent families, with one month to apply from the extract, and another 40,000 for birth or adoption, until 30 October.
• Clubs, athletes and festivities have five more calls. Xirivella opens 15,000 euros for federated sports associations and 7,000 for elite athletes, both until 9 November. Albal calls grants for athletes worth 6,000 euros and the one for bullfighting fan clubs worth 4,000, with deadlines counted from the provincial gazette, and Alcàsser the one for festival associations, with 12,500 euros and 30 calendar days.
• Nine grants already go to named recipients. Mislata signs agreements with three penyes, Els Tronats, L'Estopi, Els Traquers, and with two clubs, Club de Atletismo Fent Camí and Club Ajedrez. Picassent gives one to the Tancat de l'Alter entidad urbanística, Aldaia to the Falla Colonia and Quart de Poblet to the Tabalas i Dolçaines Va de Bo association and to Red Cross for homeless people.

The DANA still drives what gets built across the Horta Sud comarca. Alfafar entrusts the municipal basement to EULEN, Mislata has firms lined up for a redevelopment and El Quint pavilion, Quart de Poblet, Alcàsser, Silla and Albal for streets, a playground and an elderly residence, and the regional health department awards lifts, doors and barriers for its health centres in Manises and Aldaia. Manises tenders the CV-370 through road, Picassent the resurfacing of streets on three industrial estates and in its centre, with Catarroja and Picanya keeping contests open, while the rebuilding of the ravine in Picassent, the Xirivella pipes and the Benetússer project await a contractor. Alcàsser, Alaquàs, Manises and Torrent have homes open to bidding. Massanassa gains a tech company among the 22 new companies. Paiporta, Beniparrell and Llocnou de la Corona fall outside the stories in this edition.
