The Picassent ravine closes bidding at 8.2 million, more than 20 other tenders in the comarca put together

In the Horta Sud comarca, the Picassent ravine tender of 8,196,497.85 euros outweighs the other 20 added together by 9,465 euros, while Mislata opens 345,660 euros in grants, eleven homes reach the auction block across seven municipalities and 11 of the 27 new companies are builders or property firms.

Picassent closes bidding on its 8.2 million ravine and four more municipalities repair DANA damage

One ravine weighs as much as 20 other contracts

None of the 21 tenders active this week tops the Picassent ravine. The Picassent Pleno, the full town council, put out to tender on 11 September, for 8,196,497.85 euros before VAT, the rebuilding of the DANA damage to the ravine where it runs through the Font del Omet neighbourhood. DANA is the name given in Spain to the October 2024 flash floods. Bidding closed on 28 September. See the tender on the Procurement Platform.
Mislata puts a builder on its Avenida de la Paz. ABALA INFRAESTRUCTURAS, S.L. was awarded on 23 September the restoration and redevelopment of the Avenida de la Paz, budgeted at 2,090,896.91 euros before VAT and paid for by the European Union Solidarity Fund. In addition, Nuvasports Actividades Náuticas y Deportivas S.L. will replace the floor of the El Quint sports hall, damaged by its exceptional use during the DANA, on a budget of 248,452.94 euros. Alfafar and Albal rebuild two buildings for social use. Alfafar awarded on 24 September the rebuilding of the Centro Andaluz, an Andalusian cultural centre, in the Orba neighbourhood, budgeted at 142,620.74 euros. Albal settled on 10 September the design and construction of its care home for older people, which DINTEL IMPOSTA DOVELA 2000 S.L. will carry out on a budget of 205,049.09 euros. The Masía del Juez industrial estate in Torrent awaits a winner for its sewer. Aigües de l'Horta, the local water company, is reviewing bids to rebuild, for 244,815.24 euros, the sewer of the Masía del Juez industrial estate that drains into the northern trunk sewer, damaged by the DANA. Eleven homes on the auction list across seven municipalities, one of them 112 metres in Torrent

Four close this week and four in mid October

Beniparrell and Picassent close bidding on two terraced houses this Wednesday. Two terraced single-family houses, one in each municipality, close on 30 September: the one in Beniparrell and the one in Picassent. Their notices give no floor area. Another in Picassent, of 77 square metres built in a 1974 building, and one in Beniparrell of 95 square metres built closed on 28 September (Picassent and Beniparrell).
The Alfafar building has the highest CasasValue on the list. Bidding for the home in Alfafar closes on 5 October and it sits in a 1957 building with a median CasasValue of 134,644 euros. The one in Alaquàs, in a development of 160 homes, ends the same day, and on 8 October one in Torrent of 56 usable square metres.
Torrent and Manises have the largest floor areas among those that publish them. On 13 October bidding closes for the Torrent home, of 112 square metres built, the Manises home, of 103 usable square metres and one in Alcàsser. On 14 October another in Alaquàs closes.

Manises Hospital, Alaquàs and Mislata seek bids worth 255,573 euros with deadlines from 6 to 17 October

Manises Hospital turns a space into a storeroom. The Manises Health Department accepts bids until 17 October for the works and fittings of the hospital's new supplies storeroom, for 150,720.12 euros before VAT. Tender documents on the Platform.
Alaquàs and Mislata put out two small jobs with short deadlines. Alaquàs renews the irrigation channel in calle Ramón y Cajal for 58,459.57 euros, with bids until 6 October, and Mislata rebuilds the underground waste containers on the Avenida de la Paz for 46,392.86 euros, until 7 October. The El Barranquet road in Manises closed its deadline on Monday. Manises closed bidding on 28 September to replace, for 2,354,345.62 euros, the road, the retaining wall and the services of calle Sequia de Mislata, in the El Barranquet industrial estate. See the file.

Still waiting for a winner are the roof and accessibility of the Luis Vilar sports hall in Manises, the water mains in Doctor Marañón in Xirivella, the sewers of plaza Alqueria Nova in Xirivella, calle dels Argenters on the L'Alter estate in Alcàsser, the pitch at La Balaguera in Albal, a council home in Picanya and the urban development project for zone 11 in Benetússer.

Torrent leads and ten more towns add a company

Massanassa gets a builder with the DANA in its name. ANTIDANA FLOOD SYSTEMS SOCIEDAD LIMITADA is set up in Massanassa with 3,000 euros for specialised construction. Eleven of the 27 companies will build, buy or rent out property. The builders are joined by LAHERANEX NORAY SOCIEDAD LIMITADA in Alaquàs, in rentals, INMARLE ACTIVOS INMOBILIARIOS SL in Manises, in leasing, and a property firm in Paiporta that will buy and develop land. The El Pla estate in Alcàsser is getting a fresh street and storm drains. OBRAS Y SERVICIOS SERCYOVAL S.L. was awarded on 23 September the redevelopment of Carrer Llevant, budgeted at 289,256.20 euros before VAT. See the award.
Silla renews three streets under the Diputación programme. VIVERS CENTRE VERD will carry out the upgrade of calle Mare de Déu dels Desemparats and two avenues, awarded on 21 September and budgeted at 120,603.83 euros. The Diputación is the provincial council. See the award.
El Pantano in Torrent and Lepanto park in Mislata are settled. Aigües de l'Horta settled on 25 September the renewal of the water mains in calles Rosendo Montoro and Burgos, in El Pantano, budgeted at 216,402.63 euros, and Mislata on 16 September the redevelopment of the park in calle Lepanto, budgeted at 333,527.77 euros. Mislata puts 345,660 of 443,660 euros in five grants

Mislata shares out 240,660 euros in transport aid among DANA victims. The Ayuntamiento, the town council, offers 240,660.08 euros in transport grants for people affected by the 2024 DANA, with fifteen working days from publication of the notice. It also opens 105,000 euros to help young people pay part of their driving licence, until 30 October. Transport grants and driving licence.
Xirivella and Albal announce two more grants with open deadlines. Xirivella sets aside 40,000 euros for sports kit for its club-registered athletes, with applications until 22 October, and Albal 8,000 euros for nursery school supplies, with ten working days from the BOP, the provincial gazette. The Generalitat opens three lines to hire researchers, for hospitality and for farming. The Plan GenT pays in 2027 for hiring research staff, the Bono Hostalería 2026 from Turisme Comunitat Valenciana is aimed at the hospitality sector and the Generalitat, the regional government, helps young and new farmers. Picassent stopped taking bids on 28 September to rebuild its ravine at the Font del Omet. Mislata awarded the Avenida de la Paz and El Quint and opens transport and driving licence grants. Alfafar awarded the Centro Andaluz in Orba, and Albal settled its care home and helps with school supplies. Aigües de l'Horta settled El Pantano in Torrent and awaits a winner at Masía del Juez. Manises Hospital sought bids for its storeroom, Manises for El Barranquet and Alaquàs for its irrigation channel. In Xirivella, Benetússer and Picanya there are works pending award, and Xirivella helps its club athletes. Alcàsser awarded Carrer Llevant and Silla three streets. Eleven homes are being auctioned in Beniparrell, Picassent, Alfafar, Alaquàs, Torrent, Manises and Alcàsser.
