Sant Pere de Ribes sees seven construction firms registered on one day, each founded with 3,000 euros

In the Garraf comarca, seven of the 12 newly registered firms appeared together in Sant Pere de Ribes, with 3,000 euros each and the same declared activities, which start with construction. Bids can still be placed on six homes in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Sitges and Olivella. In addition, the Agència de l'Habitatge de Catalunya is making 200,000 euros available to neighbourhood associations in its districts until 6 November.

Who can apply for what in the Garraf comarca

The Agència de l'Habitatge de Catalunya is sharing out 200,000 euros among neighbourhood associations in its districts, which can apply until 6 November. The call for applications, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, was published on 29 September and is aimed at neighbourhood organisations and associations in the neighbourhoods of homes that the Agència itself administers or manages, to fund their projects and activities.
There are two lines to pay for training company staff. On 25 September the Consorci per a la Formació Contínua de Catalunya opened Line A, for training programmes that a company submits itself for its workers, and Line B, for courses that organisations run for workers at companies with fewer than 50 people. Vilanova i la Geltrú sets aside 5,000 euros to promote and coordinate its industrial estate. It is a subvención nominativa, a grant earmarked for a named recipient, which nobody else can apply for, announced on 24 September in the Base de Datos Nacional de Subvenciones, the National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants. It pays for the initial running, promotion, coordination and business representation of the industrial estate during 2026.

Vilanova i la Geltrú has half of the auctions

Bidding remains open on six homes in the Garraf comarca, and among the 21 comarcas publishing an edition this Friday only the Vallès Occidental comarca, with eight, has more. The Garraf comarca has 8 homes in court auctions, public sales ordered by a court and announced in the Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOE), Spain's Official State Gazette, where laws and official notices are published. Two have already closed. The six still open are on the Portal de Subastas, the BOE's official website where anyone who registers can bid.
On Monday 5 October bidding ends on two homes in Vilanova i la Geltrú. They are 258069 and 263367, with no floor area in the notice. 266400, a home of 64 usable square metres, opened on 25 September and closes on 15 October. 265688, with 77 usable square metres and a garage, has already closed for bids.
Olivella keeps a couple of auctions open until 13 October, one of them for a family home of 183 built square metres with a garage. It is 266202, a terraced single-family home with a basement for the garage. According to the notice, 96.76 of its usable square metres are living space. The other is 265681, with no floor area in the notice.
Sitges still has a triplex home of 118 usable square metres, closing on Wednesday 7 October. It is 266114. The other home in Sitges, 265053, a detached house built in 2007, has already closed for bids. The median CasasValue of its building, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, was 1,262,883 euros.

Sant Pere de Ribes contributes more than half of the capital

The BORME of 29 September brought seven companies to Sant Pere de Ribes with the same declared activities and the same capital. All seven, among them Hormigreen, Cote 77 and Kryvolis, start out with 3,000 euros of capital social, the money the partners put in when founding the company, which is not turnover, and declare the same business purpose, which starts with construction, installations and maintenance, according to the Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies, capital changes and closures must be published by law.
Two other firms born in the Garraf comarca that week are also linked to the construction sector. They are joined by Ilaf Eneraqua 2024, in Sitges, in electrical installations and building construction, and Fordanova Aedifica, in Sant Pere de Ribes, in trading timber and building materials and buying and selling property, both in the BORME of 25 September. That same day Iralelo Patrimonial, a company that holds shares and stakes in other firms, was also born in Vilanova i la Geltrú.
The largest is born in Sitges with 10,000 euros. Shalok Event Design, an event design firm, appears in the BORME of 28 September. The other eleven add up to 33,000 euros.
