A building plot firm is created in the city of Ferrol with 1,000,000 euros, the largest of 21 comarcas today

YENCAL INVERSIONES will develop and sell building plots, and the next biggest newcomer today, from the Levante Almeriense comarca, stops at 420,000 euros. Across the Ferrol comarca nine works remain out to tender, tendered at 936,219 euros, while 48,000 euros from municipal coffers await cultural associations.

Fene and the capital gather 79.3% of the money out to tender

Ferrol city council puts four neighbourhood premises out to tender. A licitación is a public tender, in which companies bid to carry out works or a service. The four are the San Antonio da Cabana social premises, tendered at 135,056 euros sin IVA, that is, before VAT, until 20 October, those of O Cruceiro de Valón, at 110,915 and until the 21st, those of the Pazos residents' association, at 67,856 and until the 15th, and those of O Cruceiro de Santa Cecilia, at 40,378 and until the 16th. They come under the POS+, the provincial plan that co-funds municipal works and services, with money from the Diputación de A Coruña, the provincial council, which mainly serves small towns.
Fene signs the heftiest tender of the nine. On 1 October the Concello, the town council, published the upgrade of services and paving in A Calzada, Arriba, O Revolto, Covelo and A Lagarteira, tendered at 388,421 euros before VAT, with bids until the 21st.
Neda and San Sadurniño contribute four small jobs. Neda takes bids until 15 October for the refurbishment of the archive and the painting of the facades of its Casa de la Cultura, its cultural centre, tendered at 65,517 euros before VAT, and the paving of roads in A Cobeluda and Liñares, at 45,609. San Sadurniño reopens its deadline until the 12th, the first to expire, for the roads of A Esperanza and A Castiñeira, at 43,854, and those of O Fontao, O Piñeiro and Moimentos, at 38,611.

How much one company weighs in the week's company register

A land firm gets founded on capital worth one million euros. The BORME, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies must be published by law, records on 6 October the incorporation of YENCAL INVERSIONES, from the city of Ferrol, with 1,000,000 euros of capital. It will sell, let and develop building plots and land. Capital is the money the partners put in when founding the company, not its turnover nor an announced purchase. It is the largest new company across the 21 comarcas that CASAS.ES publishes on 7 October.
Property and land occupy three members of the quintet. The other four appeared in the BORME of 29 September. VELTRIX CONSULTING, in the city of Ferrol, is born with 59,000 euros to buy, sell and manage property, and PG CAPITAL & PATRIMONIO, in Narón, with 3,000 for property development. With another 3,000 each come OTTERWORK LABS, a technology firm from Valdoviño, and EL DEPARTAMENTAL COMUNICACIONES, an events firm, in the city. Between the five they gather 1,068,000 euros.
Cultural associations in the city of Ferrol can apply for 48,000 euros until 31 December. The BDNS, the National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants, published on 5 October the grants to promote culture through the cultural associations of the city of Ferrol. They have a budget of 48,000 euros and are aimed at organisations with no economic activity. The same register entered on 2 October the MercaNaVila 2026 programme of the Diputación de A Coruña. It supports local shops in municipalities of fewer than 20,000 inhabitants, every one in the comarca except the city of Ferrol and Narón.

Recimil, Rúa Lousas and the A Mariña senior citizens already have builders assigned to works of 780,459 euros

From notice to latest update, between 112 and 392 days

Recimil has two builders and Rúa Lousas goes to NOVAVIAL. The refurbishment of 6 homes in the Recimil neighbourhood, tendered at 272,657 euros before VAT, is listed with the builders AMBITOS PROYECTOS Y OBRAS and Camoga in the update of 1 October. The upgrade of the water supply and sewerage of Rúa Lousas, at 267,460 euros, will be carried out by the builder NOVAVIAL, and the asphalting of the C-32 road in As Cabazas, at 56,134, by the builder CANARGA, according to the update of 30 September.
CITANIAS is to refit the A Mariña senior citizens' premises in Narón. The fitting out of the senior citizens' centre at the A Mariña housing, tendered at 240,342 euros before VAT, is listed with CITANIAS OBRAS Y SERVICIOS in the update of 5 October.
The Port of Ferrol's workshop building gets its builder. The Autoridad Portuaria de Ferrol-San Cibrao, the public body that runs the Port of Ferrol, has the construction of its new workshop building in the inner port, tendered at 908,251 euros before VAT, with PROSEMA NOROESTE, according to the update of 29 September. Listed as closed and with no company are the Perlío retaining wall, in Fene, the San Esteban and Agra track, in As Somozas, the San Xiao sewerage, in Moeche, and the San Xurxo roads, in the municipality of Ferrol, tendered at 250,469 euros between the four. From earlier weeks the Maciñeiras road, in Ares, still has a company, the builder CANARGA.

Fourteen contracts for 2,856,486 euros carry on without a firm, and the only auction closed on 5 October

The Port of Ferrol is second by money still to be decided

Caranza and Canido outweigh the remaining twelve pending contracts put together. En evaluación, under assessment, means the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company. That is where phase 3A of Abrir Ferrol ao Mar, in Caranza and Telleiras, tendered at 959,261 euros before VAT, and the mechanical pedestrian accesses between the A Magdalena and Canido neighbourhoods, at 661,157, remain.
The Port of Ferrol has three contracts to decide, a pair of which sit inside the inner port. The renewal of the water supply network, tendered at 289,496 euros before VAT, and the fire protection of the new workshop building, at 78,149, no longer accept bids. The Autoridad Portuaria also keeps under assessment the raised access floor of a building in the outer port, at 78,642 euros.
Fene studies which firm drafts its planning scheme. The drafting of the Plan General de Ordenación Municipal, the document that sets where building is allowed in the municipality, went out to tender at 225,153 euros before VAT and is a services contract, not a works one. At the same stage are four works in San Sadurniño tendered at 214,107 euros, the San Sadurniño services building and the roads of Os Gaiteiros, O Xestal and O Castro. So are the main road of the Río do Pozo industrial estate and the Christmas lights, in Narón, the A Bedoxa and Donelle roads, in Valdoviño, and the water supply of Cabanas, Campos and A Cruz, in As Somozas.
The comarca is left with no open auctions. The only one, a home in the city of Ferrol, closed its bidding on 5 October. A subasta judicial, a court auction, is a public sale ordered by a court, in which anyone can bid. The official notice gives no floor area and the building's CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, is missing.

The Ferrol comarca reaches 7 October with nine works tenders still open, tendered at 936,219 euros before VAT. It also welcomes YENCAL INVERSIONES, a land company endowed with 1,000,000 euros. The city of Ferrol tenders four neighbourhood premises, opens a line of 48,000 euros for cultural associations, counts on building firms for both the Recimil homes and Rúa Lousas and keeps the Caranza and Telleiras seafront and the Canido mechanical accesses without a firm for now. Narón commissions the A Mariña senior citizens' premises and registers a newly created property firm. Fene opens its largest streets and services job and studies which firm drafts the municipal planning scheme. Neda tenders repairs to its cultural building's archive, San Sadurniño reopens the window for two road paving jobs, Valdoviño adds a technology company and has two roads whose company is still pending, As Somozas and Moeche appear with one track and one sewerage job closed, and Ares keeps the Maciñeiras road with a company. Cedeira and Mugardos, with no procurement news, are among the municipalities of fewer than 20,000 inhabitants in the MercaNaVila 2026 programme run by the Diputación de A Coruña.
