Cooling and heating Bembibre's health centre, the comarca's top tender, comes out at 331,725 euros before VAT

The El Bierzo comarca sits fifth of the 21 comarcas covered today for contracts still accepting offers, six worth 704,525 euros before VAT. Ponferrada and Carracedelo welcome a pair of newly formed companies that together hold 202,000 euros of capital.

El Bierzo, fifth of 21 comarcas for open works

The Bembibre health centre is to get air conditioning works. The Gerencia de Asistencia Sanitaria del Bierzo published this tender on 30 September, a public tender, in which companies bid to carry out works or a service. The job is tendered for 331,724.79 euros before VAT, that is, before tax, the largest of the comarca's 23 tenders. Bids are accepted until 26 October.
Bembibre and Ponferrada look for a firm for parks and a covered court. Bembibre is refurbishing several parks in a job tendered for 103,654.36 euros before VAT, with bids until 9 October. Ponferrada is extending the roof of the sports court in San Andrés de Montejos, with design and works in the same contract, at a tender amount of 99,173.55 euros before VAT and a deadline of 19 October.
Camponaraya and Toral de los Vados close their deadlines on 5 and 6 October. Camponaraya is asking for bids until 5 October to pave streets in several villages, a job tendered for 59,274.88 euros before VAT, and for the pavements of La Válgoma, which come out at 44,412.46 euros before VAT. Toral de los Vados is repairing the cemetery walls, at a tender amount of 66,285.14 euros before VAT, until 6 October.
Ten contracts are already studying bids, none with its company picked. They are under assessment, that is, the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company. They add up to 1,332,159.75 euros before VAT. The largest is the street development in Posada del Bierzo, in Carracedelo, a job tendered for 190,082.64 euros before VAT. Next come Calle del Campo, also in Carracedelo, at 185,950.41 euros, and the municipal building in Almázcara, in Congosto, at 175,638.93 euros. Ponferrada awaits a company for the artificial turf of the Compostilla pitch, at 164,832.30 euros, and Camponaraya for restoring the Casa Moruna, at 98,922.43 euros.
In Villafranca del Bierzo, a wall has just closed its deadline. The concrete wall on Calle Espíritu Santo, a job tendered for 46,965.07 euros before VAT, stopped receiving bids on 1 October and there is no record yet that the bids are being studied.

Toreno has two of the six works with a company

Toreno swaps its public lighting and fits the Town Hall with a lift. Orus Eléctrica is to renew the municipality's street lamps, a contract tendered for 143,700.67 euros before VAT, and Jobensa Soluciones en Elevación is to install the lift in the town hall building, at a tender amount of 87,781.54 euros before VAT. Both tenders are listed as resolved, that is, over and with the contract closed.
Vega de Espinareda and Toral de los Vados already have their builder. Maga Estudios y Construcciones is to upgrade public spaces in Vega de Espinareda, under a plan of the Diputación de León, the provincial council, which mainly serves small towns, in a job tendered for 225,894.30 euros before VAT. Técnicas Construcción Sevemul is to renew the roofs of municipal buildings in Toral, a contract tendered for 199,052.56 euros before VAT.
The Teatro Gil y Carrasco in Villafranca gains accessibility. Consurvi del Bierzo is to do the repairs at the theatre, a job tendered for 80,064.11 euros before VAT. In Ponferrada, Dafrica Bierzo is renewing the air conditioning at the Ponferrada IV health centre, a contract tendered for 140,720 euros before VAT.

The Junta opens the class B driving licence call for Castilla y León's youth

One of the week's eight grants can be applied for

The region's young can request aid towards their class B licence. The Consejería de Movilidad, Transformación Digital e Inteligencia Artificial published on 28 September the call, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, for obtaining the class B driving licence. Who can apply and until when is set out in the call itself.
The Junta authorises the seventh payment round to businesses in the evacuated areas. It is a direct grant to self-employed workers and small firms in the places evacuated because of the summer wildfires, registered on 28 September by the Instituto para la Competitividad Empresarial de Castilla y León. Its recipients are already fixed and nobody else can apply for it. The register does not say which places are included.
Direct funds for the regional innovative business associations. The Junta de Castilla y León authorised on 10 September a direct grant to these groupings, which the register calls Agrupaciones Empresariales Innovadoras, and the Consejería de Economía y Hacienda registered it on the 29th. It cannot be applied for either.

Ponferrada and Carracedelo see a pair of fresh companies set off on 202,000 euros

Ponferrada puts in three of every four euros

Podoactiva Ponferrada is born with 150,000 euros. The Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil (BORME), the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, published its incorporation on 28 September. Its share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company and not its turnover, is 150,000 euros. It is the comarca's largest new registration of the week.
Ecobega Bierzo opens in Carracedelo with 52,000 euros. The BORME of 1 October records the incorporation of this company, whose registered office is in Carracedelo.
