Córdoba comarca · No. 2 · Monday 5 October 2026 · 7-minute read

A farming company starts with 1,200,000 euros and the Córdoba comarca ranks third of 21 for new capital

One farming firm puts in 1,200,000 of the 1,598,400 euros brought together by 14 newly incorporated companies in the Córdoba comarca, the third largest capital of the 21 comarcas published today. In addition, Córdoba city council sets out the rules of a 24,000 euro grant scheme for the patios at Christmas and two calls for refurbishing buildings. Its waste and street cleaning company has picked who will do the drainage at the Juan Revilla complex and its water company admits builders until 2031. A flat of 55 usable metres in Córdoba city is down to its last bids today, while a 120 metre commercial unit carries on until the 15th.

The Christmas patios have 24,000 euros in grants and Córdoba city council launches two calls for refurbishing buildings

Only Patios already has a confirmed amount and deadline
  • The Christmas patios have 24,000 euros and a short deadline. Córdoba City Council published on 2 October the rules for Patios de Córdoba en Navidad 2026, with a budget of 24,000 euros. They appear in the BDNS, the National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants. They are for private individuals, natural persons with no economic activity. The deadline is 10 working days, the days left once Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are excluded, and it starts the day after the rules come out in the BOP, the Provincial Official Gazette. That gazette is worth watching.
  • The historic quarter and accessibility each open a call. The city council published two calls on 30 September, the notices that open the window to apply for a grant. The first is the 2026 grants to maintain and refurbish buildings in the historic quarter, which it awards through VIMCORSA, its municipal housing company. The second is the call for accessibility and functional adaptation works, which also covers the building's technical inspection and emergency works. The amount and the closing date are best checked on the official page of each call, linked here, before asking for a quote for the works.
  • Floods, young people and trainees have regional grants. The Directorate General for Agri-food Industries of the Junta de Andalucía launched on 1 October grants to offset the losses caused by the flooding from the storms. The Servicio Andaluz de Empleo, the Junta body that manages employment policy, published that day its 2026 grants for young people aged 18 to 29. There are also the travel grants for students training in workplaces, published on 29 September.
  • Ciudad Jardín receives 60,000 euros for its shopping campaign. Córdoba City Council grants them to the campaign to liven up the shops of Ciudad Jardín as a subvención nominativa, a grant earmarked for a named recipient, which nobody else can apply for. A further 9,000 euros go to the Redcomercio association for the digital boost for fashion, food and personal care shops.

Fourteen newly formed companies total 1,598,400 euros and put the Córdoba comarca third of today's 21 comarcas

From 100 euros to 1,200,000, the capital each company starts with
  • Farming signs the week's largest incorporation. PAGO DE VALDELASHUERTAS SL starts with 1,200,000 euros of capital social, the money the partners put in when founding the company, to run agricultural, livestock and forestry estates. It is published in the BORME of 2 October, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies must be published by law. That is 75.1 per cent of the new capital of the Córdoba comarca and more than everything incorporated in 17 of the day's other 20 comarcas.
  • A property manager puts in another 350,600 euros. The second company by capital, published in the BORME of 29 September, manages real estate on behalf of third parties. It bears a person's name and is not published. The other 12 total 47,800 euros.
  • A developer is set up for a single development. EDIFICIO SAGUNTO-5 2026 SL has as its sole purpose a property development in the city of Córdoba, with 4,000 euros of capital. The same gazette publishes DE OBRAS Y ESPACIOS HIDALGAR SL, a builder, with 3,000 euros.

A flat of 55 usable metres in Córdoba city is down to its last bids this Monday and a 120 metre unit remains until the 15th

Two of the five auctions are still open
  • Bidding for the flat of 55 usable metres ends today, 5 October. It is a court auction, a public sale ordered by a court, in which anyone can bid, of a home of 55 usable metres in the city of Córdoba. Bids are placed on the Portal de Subastas, the BOE's official website where courts and public bodies auction property and anyone who registers can bid. As a general reference, half the homes in the city have a CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, below 196,480 euros.
  • The 120 metre unit takes offers for another ten days. The commercial unit, in the city of Córdoba, accepts bids until 15 October. It is the largest of the four properties with a published floor area and the only one that leaves time to study the official notice before bidding.
  • Three homes have already run out their bidding period. Two closed on 28 September, one of 102 metres and another of 81 metres, and a third home, with no published floor area, closed on 1 October. These are the five auctions in the Córdoba comarca.

SEPISUR XXI will do the drainage at the Juan Revilla complex, which SADECO tendered at 474,784 euros before VAT

Six works contracts and the stage each has reached
  • The municipal landfill has its drainage firm chosen. SADECO, the city of Córdoba's municipal company for waste, street cleaning and pest control, has chosen SEPISUR XXI S.L. to upgrade the drainage of the tipping area at the Complejo Medioambiental Juan Revilla. The works went through a licitación, a public tender, in which companies submit bids, and were put out to tender for 474,784 euros sin IVA, before VAT. The final price agreed with the company is not published.
  • EMACSA admits builders to its works pool until 2031. EMACSA, the water company owned by Córdoba City Council, which supplies and treats the city's water, is running a sistema dinámico de adquisición, an open list of approved companies that are then invited to bid for each job. It is tendered for 3,000,000 euros before VAT and accepts applications until 8 September 2031. It is the largest of the six municipal works contracts and remains open to new builders.
  • The schools are past the award and the sports hall is still under study. The upkeep of 13 schools is already past the adjudicación, the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work. The name does not yet appear on the Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders. The La Juventud sports hall, which the Instituto Municipal de Deportes wants a company to build, maintain and operate, is still in assessment: the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company.
  • Urbanismo and the Baobab incubator have a contractor. DEMOLICIONES CÓRDOBA SLU will carry out the safety and public health works for the Gerencia Municipal de Urbanismo. IFAMA 2012, S.L., the company listed as the successful bidder, has the roof refurbishment at the Baobab business incubator, the smallest of the six contracts. Together they total 6,680,121 euros of tender value before VAT, and the breakdown is in the chart.

Six works on streets, lighting, a road and the power grid, tendered for 1,592,416 euros before VAT, await a contractor

Three July deadlines still have no decision
  • Two municipal works have been waiting for a decision since July. Córdoba City Council took bids until 20 July to renew the paving of plaza los Califas, 11 weeks ago, and until 27 July for the second phase of calle de Las Lomas. Deadlines then closed for the lighting of a car park and the remodelling of calle Rey Don Pelayo, the largest of the four, tendered for 527,001 euros before VAT. Together they total 1,020,209 euros.
  • The Diputación is studying a road that leaves the city. The Diputación, the provincial council, which mainly serves small towns, has in assessment the partial repair of the CO-3204, from the city of Córdoba to the A-309 across the campiña, tendered for 517,072 euros before VAT. It adds the works to bury a power line at a building of the Centro Agropecuario, for 55,135 euros.
  • The Diputación is also studying works of 988,457 euros at a hostel. Outside those six, it also has in assessment the first phase of the improvement of the provincial hostel at Cerro Muriano, in the municipality of Córdoba, tendered for that amount before VAT. The bid deadline closed on 21 July.
