Two allied companies will build 102 rental homes in Pozo Rayo, tendered for 19.97 million before VAT
In the Ceuta comarca, the 102 rental homes of Pozo Rayo, which the Autonomous City of Ceuta tendered at 19.97 million before VAT, appear as settled in favour of a joint venture of two companies. That amount is four times that of the four port works that also have a contractor by now, among them the energy upgrade of the ferry terminal. The solar installation on the España quay seeks its installer until 14 October. The official gazette for the Companies Register lists two Ceuta city companies that hold 68,000 euros of capital combined.
Pozo Rayo is entrusted to two companies united to plan and construct its 102 rental homes

- Pozo Rayo's 102 rental homes have found a designer and a builder. The Autonomous City of Ceuta, the administration that governs the city, put out to tender the design and construction of 102 rental homes in Pozo Rayo, to be built with industrialised techniques, for 19,973,336.13 euros before VAT, that is, before tax. That is the starting price, as with every amount in this edition. The contract is listed as settled, meaning the tender is over and the contract has been closed, in favour of Africana de Contratas y Construcciones and Lirola Ingeniería y Obras. The two form a temporary joint venture, the formula by which several companies bid together for a contract. The Procurement Platform, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders for works and services, updated it on 29 September. The four port works that already have a contractor equal 25.3 per cent of that amount.
- Three small jobs come out in one day from the Comandancia General de Ceuta and the heliport. Aena, the company that runs Spain's state network of airports and heliports, published on 29 September two settled contracts at the Ceuta heliport. Ceuti de Mantenimiento is to handle the extension of the fire detection system, tendered for 7,210 euros before VAT, and Tralemsa Obras y Servicios the hut that protects the chlorination system, at 3,600 euros before VAT. The Comandancia General de Ceuta published that same date the installation of gutters and the repair of leaks in a kitchen building, at 7,272.73 euros before VAT. It appears as settled, with no company in the data.
- Demolition at the health department and lifts in the Poblado Marinero, two contracts settled earlier. As context from previous weeks, Excavaciones Norte de Africa is listed for the demolition of the building annexed to the Consejería de Sanidad, the health department, tendered for 331,385.47 euros before VAT, and Tusser Ingenieria y Obras for the two lifts in the Poblado Marinero, budgeted at 200,996.01 euros before VAT.
Four port works have a contractor assigned between the ferry terminal and the quays

- The biggest job saves energy at the ferry terminal. The Autoridad Portuaria de Ceuta, the public body that runs the Port of Ceuta, has chosen Lambda 360 Grados Empresa Constructora, a limited company in the construction sector, for the energy efficiency upgrade of the ferry terminal, in galleries 1 to 6. It went out to public tender, in which companies bid to carry out works or a service, for 2,135,490.89 euros before VAT, and was updated on 30 September.
- Atlantico 18 will fit out the ferry berths at the Muelle Cañonero Dato. The first phase of the berths started from a budget of 1,522,026.88 euros before VAT and is the last to be updated, on 1 October.
- Two firms move into the boarding galleries and the Poniente accesses. A&B Servicios y Construcciones de Ceuta will handle the refit of the ground floors of the boarding galleries, in buildings 2, 4, 5 and 6, a tender of 710,478.95 euros before VAT. Multiservicios Buildarna is listed for the refit of the access controls at the Muelle de Poniente, at 688,891.91 euros before VAT and already settled. The four works add up to 5,056,888.63 euros before VAT, work for the city's builders and installers.
The solar installation on the España quay, at 648,100.42 euros before VAT, awaits installers until 14 October

- Bids are still awaited on a single port contract. The photovoltaic installation on the España quay, on the terminal and on the boarding galleries, remains open. The Port Authority put it out to tender for 648,100.42 euros before VAT and companies can bid until 14 October, 9 days after this edition. It is the live opportunity for the city's solar energy installers.
- Poniente leaves behind the cut-off date for its Ro-Ro ramp. The deadline for the extension of the Ro-Ro ramp on the fourth alignment of the Poniente breakwater closed on 1 October. It went out at 63,174.14 euros before VAT and the contract still has no company in this week's data.
The BORME enters two Ceuta city firms with 68,000 euros and one aims at land and finance

- Zayron Ventures 2003 arrives with 65,000 euros to advise on, develop and operate properties. The BORME of 30 September, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies, capital changes and closures must be published by law, records its incorporation. Its stated purpose combines advice and intermediation in financial services with the purchase, sale, development, construction, refurbishment and operation of rural and urban properties.
- Tejidos Rifeño Ceuta opens with 3,000 euros and will sell fabrics. It is registered in the same gazette. With it, the companies set up during the week number 2 and add up to 68,000 euros of capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company.
