San Roque and Algeciras choose who builds two projects worth 10.5 million, the Campo de Gibraltar's largest

A covered sports hall in Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro and the Algeciras road resurfacing plan add up to 10.5 million euros before VAT awaiting award, Los Barrios takes bids for the Palmones until 30 September, from 22 October households and firms can request 20.8 million in energy support from the Andalusian government, and four properties go up for auction, among them a three-bedroom flat in San Roque.

San Roque and Algeciras assess bids for a sports hall and a resurfacing plan worth 10.5 million

• San Roque and Algeciras weigh up their two biggest projects. San Roque Town Council is assessing bids for the covered sports hall, internal site works and car parks of Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro, put out to tender in August for 5,547,659 euros before VAT, and Algeciras Town Council is doing the same for the resurfacing plan for its roads, tendered in July for 4,947,025 euros before VAT. Together they come to 10.5 million and are the two largest projects in the Campo de Gibraltar on the Public Sector Procurement Platform.
• The Palmones will get water sports facilities. Since 10 September Los Barrios has been tendering, for 1,025,681 euros before VAT, new water sports facilities on the estuary of the river Palmones. Bids can be submitted until 30 September.
• Algeciras opens four small contracts. Until 29 September firms can bid for the rebuilding of the low wall at Sotorrebolo, for 70,104 euros before VAT, and for the reorganisation of access to the Enrique Talavera athletics track, published on 22 September for 47,439 euros before VAT. The switch to LED lighting at the same track, for 66,494 euros before VAT, stays open until 5 October, and the waterproofing of the Social Security building roofs, published on 22 September for 74,704 euros before VAT, until 7 October.
• EIFFAGE, SEDINFRA and ELECNOR win contracts. The Platform now lists as awarded, in updates from 14 to 18 September, the redesign of the plaza de la Constitución in La Línea to EIFFAGE INFRAESTRUCTURAS SA, tendered for 4,051,489 euros before VAT, the repairs to the Juan Carlos I quay to SEDINFRA SA, tendered for 598,543 euros before VAT, and the two lifts for the La Línea municipal housing company to OTIS MOBILITY SA, tendered for 125,097 euros before VAT. On 21 September Aena, the Spanish airports operator, awarded ELECNOR SERVICIOS Y PROYECTOS SAU the firefighting service at the Algeciras heliport, worth 82,800 euros before VAT.

Andalusian homes and companies can apply for 20.8 million in energy grants from 22 October

• Almost 15 million for those with no economic activity. The largest of the three lines, worth 14,902,130 euros for the whole of Andalusia, funds renewables and energy efficiency in the residential sector and is aimed at people and organisations with no economic activity. Applications open on 22 October at 9 in the morning on the incentives portal of the Andalusian government energy agency.
• SMEs and large companies have 5.9 million. For private homes and residential buildings there are 3,850,877 euros for energy efficiency and 2,019,500 for renewables, open to SMEs, the self-employed and large companies. Applications run from 22 October until 30 September 2027 at the latest, or earlier if the Andalusian government declares it closed.

A 69 square metre shop in Algeciras and an 86 square metre flat in San Roque among the four Campo auctions

• Algeciras auctions a 69 square metre shop. A court is auctioning commercial premises of 69 usable square metres in Algeciras, in a 1990 building with a median CasasValue of 391,266 euros, with bidding until 5 October, and an industrial unit on the Zabal II industrial estate in La Línea, until 28 September.
• San Roque offers a three-bedroom home. In San Roque a three-bedroom home with 86 built square metres goes up for auction, with bidding until 14 October, and in Los Barrios another home, until 30 September.

Algeciras gains four new companies, two of them hardware wholesalers

• Two holding companies and a holiday property firm make their debut. THE BLONDE'S INVESTMENTS SL starts up in Tarifa as a holding company with share capital of 4,010 euros, the largest of the seven, and DAPEAL CAPITAL SL does the same in Algeciras with 3,000. In San Roque SOLGUESTHOME SL is registered with 3,000 euros for holiday accommodation and property brokerage.
• Algeciras adds two hardware wholesalers. NOOR TRADE AGADIR SL and ATLAS FERRO SL start up with 3,000 euros each to sell hardware and plumbing supplies wholesale, and a cladding and residential construction firm registers with 1,000. In Jimena de la Frontera SETRI INVERSIONES SL, a food business, starts up with 3,000.

In the Campo de Gibraltar, San Roque and Algeciras are assessing bids for their two largest projects, Los Barrios is tendering the water sports works on the Palmones, and La Línea de la Concepción and Algeciras have contracts listed as awarded. The courts have an industrial unit, commercial premises and two homes open to bids in La Línea, Los Barrios, Algeciras and San Roque, and Algeciras, Tarifa, San Roque and Jimena de la Frontera gained new companies between 22 and 24 September. Castellar de la Frontera and San Martín del Tesorillo recorded no tenders, court auctions or new entries at the Companies Register.
