The BORME, the Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies must be published by law, records on 5 October the incorporation of NOVA ALELLA in the city of Manresa, with 3,000 euros of capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company, for property activity and property development. The same gazette carries another Manresa company with identical registered objects, the activities it says it will carry on, and the same capital.
Four of the 8 newcomers include real estate or works in their objects. The Bages comarca adds up to 8 companies between the gazette of 29 September and those of 2 and 5 October, as many as the previous week. Half of them, 4, include property activity or construction in their objects, when in the day's other 20 comarcas the share falls short of one in four, 56 of 246. Alongside the 2 developers are DESIGN BCN 03, with 100 euros and architectural services, and a vehicle rental firm with the construction of residential buildings as a secondary activity. The 4, from Manresa, total 9,100 euros.
Aguilar de Segarra and Avinyó each welcome a start-up too. Outside property, BLAWET SOFTWARE Y TECNOLOGIA is incorporated in Manresa with 500 euros to write software, and LIFEROOT NATURA arrives in Aguilar de Segarra with 3,000 to trade in cosmetics. An accountancy firm is born in Avinyó with 20 euros and a prepared meals firm in Manresa with 3,000. The 8 total 15,620 euros of capital.

Balsareny opens 7,000 euros of emergency social aid until 31 December and Avinyó 2,860 for students

Balsareny and Avinyó call grants for their residents. A call, or convocatoria, is the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant. The Ayudas de Urgencia Social 2026 of Balsareny, its emergency social aid, have 7,000 euros and accept applications until 31 December. Those for study mobility for Avinyó students in post-compulsory education share out 2,860 euros, with a window of 20 working days, the days left once Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are excluded, from their publication in the provincial gazette.
Residents' groups in public housing neighbourhoods can seek 200,000 euros until 6 November. The Agencia de la Vivienda de Cataluña, the Catalan government's public body that carries out its housing policy, registered on 29 September the call for projects by neighbourhood organisations and associations, with 200,000 euros. For shops and services, on the same day the Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya, the consortium of the Generalitat and the chambers of commerce that promotes those sectors, registered the 2026 grants for retail and services.
Sallent and Sant Mateu de Bages award, and Manresa receives, money that has a fixed addressee. Another 3 entries are subvenciones nominativas, and a subvención nominativa is a grant earmarked for a named recipient. Sallent town council awards 2,000 euros to an organisation and that of Sant Mateu de Bages, 2,040 to a municipal group. The Generalitat logged a cultural heritage one for Manresa city council.
All of Catalonia has 6 more regional calls. For the whole of Catalonia there are another 6 calls. For livestock farmers, the grants for cattle farms affected by a livestock disease. There are also those for municipal plans to promote reading and library equipment, the one for popular culture federations and the scholarships for traditional-roots music and dance.
