Eight new companies bring 138,000 euros to the Bages comarca, over three times Osona and the Gironès combined

New firms listed for the Bages comarca in the BORME bring in 138,000 euros between them, more than three times the Osona and Gironès comarcas combined, and almost three quarters of it comes from a cosmetics firm in Navàs. In Sant Vicenç de Castellet two industrial units go to auction and in Castellbell i el Vilar two homes, with bidding closing on 7 and 13 October, and Sant Joan de Vilatorrada opens bursaries worth 11,390 euros until 15 October.

The Bages comarca beats Osona plus the Gironès in new capital

Navàs hosts the best funded newcomer of the period. ZAGRERA HEALTH is incorporated with 100,000 euros to market, import, distribute and store cosmetic products, according to the BORME of 22 September, the gazette where Spanish companies are registered. That is more than 33 times the 3,000 euros that six of the other seven start with, and 72.5% of all the new capital.
Manresa gets three more new firms, and two list property among their activities. THE TYRE FACTORY STUDIO starts with 20,000 euros to let, manage, broker and market properties and commercial premises (BORME of 22 September), the best funded property firm this week. On 29 September the capital of the comarca adds a ready meals and food retail company and a vehicle hire company that lists the construction of residential buildings among its activities, both with 3,000 euros (BORME of 29 September).
Cardona gains a pastry shop and a personal finance academy. CARENA PASTISSERIA is born with 3,000 euros to make and sell pastries, buns and confectionery (BORME of 24 September). The next day another one arrives, with the same capital, devoted to non-formal training in economics and financial wellbeing (BORME of 25 September).
Castellnou de Bages and Aguilar de Segarra complete the list. GVS LLOGUERS I SERVEIS EMPRESARIALS sets up in Castellnou de Bages with 3,000 euros for economic consultancy and business strategy (BORME of 25 September), and LIFEROOT NATURA opens in Aguilar de Segarra, also with 3,000 euros, to distribute cosmetics, hygiene and perfumery products (BORME of 29 September). Together with Navàs, cosmetics accounts for two of the eight new companies, although one starts with 100,000 euros and the other with 3,000.

Three closing dates in October, two of them on the same day

Two industrial units in Sant Vicenç de Castellet go to auction together. The auction of the two units opened on 23 September and accepts bids until 13 October, in a single case file with no lots. The notice gives the square metres of neither.
The two homes in Castellbell i el Vilar close six days apart. The first home has been open for bidding since 17 September and closes on 7 October. The second opened on 23 September and closes on 13 October. Neither notice gives the square metres or the CasasValue of the building.
A home with 85 usable square metres has already dropped off the calendar. Bidding for the home with 85 usable square metres and a 37 metre terrace in Sant Vicenç de Castellet closed on 28 September, after opening on the 8th. It is the only one of the five properties auctioned in the comarca whose notice gives a floor area.

Avinyó, Balsareny and Sant Joan de Vilatorrada announce 65,390 euros and Salelles gets 2,000 for its business park

Three town councils announce 65,390 euros in grants

Sant Salvador de Guardiola puts 2,000 euros into the Salelles business park. The Town Council publishes on 22 September the agreement with the business association of the Salelles business park, AEPSAL, file 154/2026, worth 2,000 euros. It is agreed support, not an open grant. The same day it opens the Ambaixadors de l esport grants, with 1,500 euros and applications until 15 October.
Formació Contínua pays for workforce courses along two lines. Line A of Formació Contínua, the Catalan continuing vocational training scheme, funds the training programmes that companies themselves submit for their workers, and line B those submitted by training providers for workers at member companies with fewer than 50 staff. Neither of the two records publishes an amount or a deadline.
Avinyó shares out 32,000 euros among local associations. There are five lines, sport, with 13,000 euros, community activities, with 9,000, education, with 5,000, popular culture, with 3,000, and the arts, with 2,000. Sport and community activities take more than two out of every three euros.
Balsareny opens 22,000 euros and Artés 4,000 for transport. Balsareny announces grants for cultural associations, with 8,000 euros, sports associations, with 5,000, and social organisations, with 2,000, plus adapted transport grants, with 7,000. Artés publishes its transport grants for the 2026-2027 school year, with 4,000 euros.
Sant Joan de Vilatorrada offers bursaries worth 11,390 euros until 15 October. They are the enrolment and school meal bursaries of the El Xiulet nursery school, with 8,190 euros, the music bursaries, with 2,000, and those of the adult education centre, with 1,200. All three accept applications until 15 October.

The new companies in Manresa, Cardona, Navàs, Castellnou de Bages and Aguilar de Segarra, four auctions in Castellbell i el Vilar and Sant Vicenç de Castellet, and an agreement worth 2,000 euros with the Salelles business park in Sant Salvador de Guardiola sum up the Bages comarca between the 22nd and the 29th of the month. Avinyó, Balsareny, Artés and Sant Joan de Vilatorrada open grants for associations, transport and bursaries, Sant Fruitós de Bages awards nominative grants, those named directly in its budget, to its cultural associations and runs a competition for the mascot of the 2027 women's basketball capital year, worth 150 euros, and the Patronat de la Muntanya de Montserrat, the public body that looks after the mountain, funds Marganell Town Council and the water pump of the Montserrat monastery and guest house. Callús, Castellfollit del Boix, Castellgalí, Fonollosa, Gaià, Monistrol de Montserrat, Mura, Navarcles, El Pont de Vilomara i Rocafort, Rajadell, Sallent, Sant Feliu Sasserra, Sant Mateu de Bages, Santpedor, Súria and Talamanca have no new companies, auctions or tenders in their name in the period.
