The Port of Avilés moves 1.71 of the Avilés comarca's 2.23 million in contracts and awards its well to ARIEXCA

The Avilés Port Authority has awarded ARIEXCA SL a well tendered at 87,698 euros excluding VAT and is assessing two other works on the estuary, which together make up 77 per cent of all the money in contracts in the Avilés comarca. Soto del Barco accepts bids until 6 October for the Los Veneros water supply, the city of Avilés gains a 3D printing manufacturer with 12,000 euros of capital and the Antroxu 2027, the city's carnival, offers 23,900 euros in prizes that companies and SMEs can compete for.

The Port of Avilés takes three in every four euros in contracts and Soto del Barco seeks a firm for its water

Six contracts and the stage each one has reached

The Port already has a firm for its well. The Avilés Port Authority awarded ARIEXCA SL the project for a catchment well pumping to an existing tank in the port, tendered at 87,698 euros excluding VAT. The file is listed as resolved on the Platform, last updated on 22 September.
Two more Port works are still under assessment. The same Port Authority is assessing the raising of the bank at the southern end of the Manuel Ponga promenade, tendered at 1,122,611 euros excluding VAT with bids closed on 14 August, and the fitting of fenders on the commercial quays of the left bank, tendered at 499,383 euros excluding VAT with the deadline closed on 7 September. Together with the well, the Port Authority accounts for 1.71 million excluding VAT, 77 per cent of the 2.23 million that the six contracts open or recently awarded in the comarca add up to.
Soto del Barco takes bids until 6 October. Soto del Barco town council is tendering, for 55,589 euros excluding VAT, the improvement of water treatment and health monitoring of the water supply in Los Veneros. The tender opened on 22 September.
Avilés city council studies the La Folleca bids. Avilés city council is assessing the bids, which closed on 6 July, to reorganise traffic and improve accessibility in La Folleca, tendered at 357,923 euros excluding VAT.
Castrillón awarded its CCTV system to PROSEÑAL. The contract to supply and install Castrillón's CCTV and traffic control system using number plate recognition is listed as awarded to PROSEÑAL SLU in the update of 18 September. It was put out to tender at 104,132 euros excluding VAT.

A 3D parts manufacturer opens with 12,000 euros, the biggest of the five new companies

NEURONIS 360 SL opens with the largest capital. NEURONIS 360 SL registers in the city of Avilés with 12,000 euros of capital, the largest of the week, to design, scan and manufacture products using three-dimensional printing and additive manufacturing, with plastics and other materials.
Four more companies start out with 3,000 euros. Also founded in the city of Avilés are GOLDEN EVENTS SL, in the performing arts, and EVOLUCIONA FISIOTERAPIA SL, in physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy. In Castrillón, NAVIGATOR PUBLIC AFFAIRS SL registers, in consultancy and business strategy, and in Corvera de Asturias, AXM SPORTMASTER SL, with a corporate purpose of legal, accounting and tax advice. All four start out with 3,000 euros of capital.

Avilés city council opens 23,900 euros in Antroxu prizes to companies and SMEs until 30 April

Companies can enter the Antroxu. Avilés city council is calling the Antroxu 2027 contest prizes with 23,900 euros. Companies, organisations and individuals may enter, and applications are accepted until 30 April 2027.
Castrillón is looking for photos for its calendar. Castrillón town council is putting 1,000 euros into the 1st Castrillonízate Photography Contest, whose images will illustrate the 2027 municipal calendar. Entries are open for twenty calendar days from the notice in the BOPA, the official gazette of Asturias.
Gozón backs the families at its rural school. Gozón town council signs a 4,000 euro agreement with the parents' association of the Colegio Rural Agrupado Cabu Peñes, a grouped rural school, for 2026.
The Principality opens two regional calls, among others. The Public Employment Service of the Principality of Asturias registers in the BDNS the call for grants for actions under the comprehensive guidance and employability programme 2026/2028, and the regional Department of Education the individual school transport grants for the 2026/2027 school year. Both are dated 22 September.

In the week from 19 to 26 September, the Port of Avilés well appears as resolved in the update of the 22nd and the Port Authority has two other works under assessment according to the Platform, while Avilés city council studies the La Folleca bids. The city of Avilés saw three companies founded and called the Antroxu prizes. Soto del Barco put the Los Veneros water supply out to tender on 22 September. Castrillón registers a consultancy, is listed with its CCTV system awarded in the update of 18 September and calls a photography contest. Corvera de Asturias adds one company and Gozón signs an agreement with the parents' association of its rural school. Illas had no tenders, companies or grants of its own in the week.
