An Igualada toy shop puts up 15,000 of the 24,000 euros of four start-ups registered in the Anoia comarca

KONA PROJECT, a toy shop in Igualada, contributes 15,000 of the 24,000 euros raised from 6 to 8 October by the four firms founded in the Anoia comarca, 1.85 times what the five counted on the 6th added up to. Capellades is taking applications from its sports clubs until 30 October, Vilanova del Camí and La Torre de Claramunt are also offering grants, and Masquefa is still auctioning a home until Thursday 15.

The Generalitat announces grants for traineeship contracts, equality plans and loans to leisure businesses

Every working day brought at least one
  • Hiring someone on a traineeship has Catalan funding for 2026. The Catalan Public Employment Service registered on 9 October in the National Grants Database (BDNS) the call for professional traineeship contracts. That same Friday the Departament d'Igualtat i Feminisme, the Catalan government's equality department, registered the scheme for drawing up equality plans in companies and organisations with fewer than fifty people, with money from the European Social Fund Plus. It is the European Union's main fund for jobs, training and inclusion.
  • Credit on preferential terms for leisure businesses based in Catalonia. The ICF (Institut Català de Finances), the Generalitat's public bank that finances businesses with loans and guarantees, registered the ICF Lleure loans on 6 October. They are open to the self-employed, companies and organisations in the leisure sector with a registered or operating base in Catalonia, for their working capital needs.
  • Agriculture opens four grants for cattle, beehives and rabbits. Three are for cattle farms affected by lumpy skin disease, a viral disease of cattle that the European Union requires to be controlled: lost income, other costs and condemned offal. The fourth compensates productivity losses in beekeeping and rabbit farming. Apart from the lost income one, they are de minimis aid, small grants with a per-company ceiling set by the European Union.

Montbui and Igualada close their 70 and 52 square metre flats today, and Masquefa holds out two days longer

Five lots in four municipalities of the comarca
  • Montbui and Igualada are decided on Tuesday 13. Today the court auction of the home of 70 registered square metres in Santa Margarida de Montbui closes. It is a public sale ordered by a court. Bids are made on the Portal de Subastas, the official BOE website where courts and public bodies auction property and anyone who registers can bid. The building dates from 1968 and the CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, has a median there of 70,182 euros. Also closing today is the home of 52 built square metres in Igualada.
  • Masquefa leaves room until Thursday 15. The home in Masquefa stays open for bids two days longer. Its edicto, the official notice of the auction, gives neither the square metres nor a description of the property.
  • Two further lots, both already shut. The parking space in Santa Margarida de Montbui closed on 8 October. It is in a 1993 building with 15 homes, whose median CasasValue is 139,487 euros. The home in La Torre de Claramunt closed on the 5th, and its edicto gives no square metres.

KONA PROJECT, a toy shop with 15,000 euros, is born in Igualada, five times the largest previous start-up

Capital in new start-ups almost doubles
  • KONA PROJECT is born in Igualada with 15,000 euros to sell toys. The BORME, the gazette where new companies must be published by law, recorded this toy shop on 7 October. Its share capital, the money the partners put in when founding it, accounts for 15,000 of the 24,000 euros raised by the four previously unreported start-ups in the Anoia comarca. The largest start-up of the previous week had 3,000 euros.
  • G2EC enters the rental market with its base in Igualada. G2EC PROMOCIONS I ARRENDAMENTS was born on 8 October with 3,000 euros to buy, sell and let property, according to the BORME of that day.
  • La Llacuna gains a sales consultancy and Igualada a management one. UPSELL COMM started on 7 October in La Llacuna with 3,000 euros (BORME). In Igualada a management consultancy was born on the 6th with the same capital (BORME of 6 October). Igualada takes three of the four.
  • Two start-ups from the 5th have already appeared here. A painting company in Igualada and QR PADEL CLUB IGUALADA, a sports equipment shop registered in Vilanova del Camí, appear in the BORME of 5 October and we reported them on the 6th. They are not included in the count.
