Figueres city council gives 28,000 euros to its XXX Jazz Festival

Roses and Figueres each keep one home open to bidding across the Alt Empordà comarca, the Figueres one of almost 73 usable square metres until Wednesday 7 and the Roses one until Thursday 15 October. Figueres also registers 48,000 euros in three municipal agreements, 28,000 of them for its thirtieth jazz festival, La Jonquera takes applications for school textbooks until 13 November and five companies appear in the BORME where a week ago there was one.

In Figueres almost 73 square metres of home stay open to offers until Wednesday 7, and another in Roses until Thursday 15

One closing date gone and two to come
  • Figueres still takes bids on almost 73 usable square metres. A court is auctioning a home of almost 73 usable square metres in Figueres on the Portal de Subastas, the official website of the BOE, Spain's Official State Gazette, where courts and public bodies auction property. It is a subasta judicial, a public sale ordered by a court, in which anyone who registers can bid. The home is in a building of 32 homes, put up in 1989, whose median CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, is 86,407 euros. Bidding has been open since 17 September and closes on Wednesday 7 October.
  • The Roses home takes offers until the 15th. The Roses home has been open to bidding since 25 September and takes offers until Thursday 15 October. Its edicto, the official notice of the auction, which the court publishes on the Portal de Subastas, gives no floor area in square metres.
  • The home of almost 79 square metres is already done. The other Figueres home, of almost 79 square metres according to its edicto, closed its bidding period on 1 October.

Figueres puts 28,000 euros into its thirtieth jazz festival and another 20,000 into two social services

Jazz takes 58 per cent of 48,000 euros
  • Jazz reaches its thirtieth year with 28,000 municipal euros. On 28 September Figueres city council registered in the BDNS, the National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants, the agreement with the Casino Menestral to organise the city's XXX Jazz Festival. The record gives it a budget of 28,000 euros.
  • Two 2026 services add up to another 20,000 euros. On 29 September it published the agreements for the Servicio de Acogida y Atención al Transeúnte, the shelter and care service for people in transit, with 11,000 euros, and for the advice service for immigrants, with 9,000. The three agreements hold 48,000 euros between them and the festival takes more than half. All three are listed as direct grants governed by an agreement, and the application dates shown on their records have already passed.

La Jonquera takes applications for school textbooks until 13 November and neighbourhood groups have until the 6th

Two deadlines with a date, 6 and 13 November

The comarca goes from one new company to five, from metal structures to solar panels

The Alt Empordà comarca, 14th of 21 comarcas
  • Figueres registers three of the five. The BORME, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies, capital changes and closures must be published by law, recorded on 29 September SFINA CAPITAL, for buying and selling property and for imports, with 3,200 euros of capital social, the money the partners put in when founding the company, and SANFYRZJI GROUPE, created to manage stakes in entities outside Spain, with 3,000. On 1 October came BENDAPOSE ESTRUCTURAS, which makes and assembles metal structures, also with 3,000.
  • Cabanes adds an importer of solar panels. BENRIF IMPORT EXPORT, registered on 29 September with 3,000 euros, will import and distribute electrical equipment and photovoltaic systems.
  • Vilajuïga gains a food retailer. The BORME of 30 September records a company with 3,000 euros to run supermarkets and self-service shops. The five together hold 15,200 euros of capital. The previous week the count for the Alt Empordà comarca stopped at a single company, and even with the jump it sits behind thirteen of the comarcas that publish this Monday.

The Diputación registers direct grants in the name of La Jonquera, Peralada and four other municipalities

Six records on Monday 28 and the seventh on Wednesday 30
  • Six of 27 carry a local name. On 28 September the Diputación de Girona, the provincial council, which mainly serves small towns, entered in the BDNS 27 direct grants for the second quarter of 2026, each one titled with a municipality of the province. Six bear the name of a municipality in the Alt Empordà comarca, 22 per cent of the batch, and they are La Jonquera, Ventalló, Siurana, Pont de Molins, Peralada and Darnius.
  • Palau-saverdera arrives two days later. On 30 September the Diputación registered another record in the name of Palau-saverdera town council, with its own file and outside the quarterly batch. We do not yet have an amount or a purpose for any of the seven, and each link leads to its official record.
