Seafront and walkways 4 and 5 give the Almería port 99 of every 100 euros in works tenders with time left

The Almería port accepts proposals until Friday 16 for the 20 million seafront scheme, and until 3 November for repairs to walkways 4 and 5, at 1.07 million. The Almería comarca adds twelve new companies, against seven a week earlier, 14 contracts being assessed, totalling 7.6 million and four auctions closing between today and tomorrow, including a 12,496 metre plot in Viator.

The Almería port opens walkways 4 and 5 at 1.07 million and accepts proposals until November

• Walkways 4 and 5 join the seafront project. The Autoridad Portuaria de Almería, the state body that runs the port, published the refurbishment of walkways 4 and 5 on 8 October, tendered at 1.07 million euros before VAT. Its second open works contract, it accepts proposals until 3 November.
• Twenty million in port works accept envelopes until Friday. The tender for the works on the Puerto-Ciudad seafront, tendered at 20 million euros before VAT, remains open until 16 October. With the walkways, the Port has 99 of every 100 euros of the 21.3 million still open to bids in the Almería comarca on 13 October.
• High voltage for the docks, contractor still pending. The deadline for the electrical maintenance of the ports of Almería and Carboneras, high and low voltage networks and transformer stations, tendered at 297,958 euros before VAT, expired on 7 October.
• The Diputación brings electric car charging to the Pabellón Moisés Ruiz. The charging points and solar installation of the sports hall, in the city of Almería, were tendered at 194,215 euros before VAT by the Diputación Provincial, the provincial council, with bids until 20 October.
• The former Virgen del Socorro school now has its contest settled. Almería city council has settled the contest to adapt two floors of the former Colegio Virgen del Socorro, tendered at 708,067 euros before VAT. The Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal for public tenders, has not yet published the company.

In Viator, 12,496 metres of residential land face the gavel next to three more properties in the city of Almería

• Bids for a 74 metre shop in Almería city end today. A court is auctioning on the BOE Auction Portal, until today 13 October, a commercial premises of 74 usable metres in the city of Almería. The homes in its building, from 2007, have a median CasasValue of 128,423 euros, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home. Bidding also closes that day on a home of 86 metres built.
• A hectare and a quarter of residential land in Viator. Bids are open until 14 October for a residential development plot of 12,496 metres in Viator, and that day bidding ends on another home in the city of Almería, with no floor area given in the notice consulted.
• Auctions are closed for an Almería city dwelling and a Viator estate. The auctions of a home of 78 metres built in the city of Almería and of a rural estate of 13,422 metres in Viator are over.

Three companies in Níjar and Huércal de Almería bring together 273,000 euros among twelve new registrations

• Twelve incorporations beat the seven of the previous period. The BORME, the Companies Register gazette, published 12 incorporations in the Almería comarca from 6 to 9 October, against 7 the previous week, with 301,100 euros of capital. Seven are in the city of Almería, two in Huércal de Almería, two in Níjar and one in Viator.
• Farmland and real estate dominate the founding money. BIOJUSALME starts in Níjar with 170,000 euros to lease rural estates and grow vegetables, and SUARGOM HOME in Huércal de Almería with 100,000 to develop and let property (BORME of 6 October). M&M BELDAS 2026 joins in Níjar with 3,000 to buy and sell property (BORME of the 9th). The three bring together 273,000 euros, 91 per cent of the total.
• Software and retail widen the list. NETANDSOFTWARE DIGITAL opens in the city of Almería and DRAKON TECH SOLUTIONS in Huércal de Almería (BORME of the 8th), IRESO GESTION and ROMRAZ in the city (BORME of the 9th) and RINCON GOLOSO 2026, also in the city (BORME of the 6th). They are joined by a bakery and a sport and health business (BORME of the 6th), a holding company (BORME of the 8th) and, in Viator, a parcel delivery firm (BORME of the 7th).

Firefighters in Huércal, sport in Campohermoso and planning in Gádor among 14 contracts being assessed for 7.6 million

• In Huércal de Almería and Níjar, the two largest jobs remain on the assessment table. The Huércal de Almería fire station and the sports facilities in Campohermoso, in Níjar, each tendered at 2.07 million euros before VAT, are still being assessed by the public body. In the city of Almería, the street lighting, phase I, at 659,392 euros, the BMX track at the Recinto Ferial, at 654,043, and the University solar plant, at 526,780, are also waiting.
• In Gádor, the general plan awaits someone to draft it. Gádor is studying bids to draft its Plan General de Ordenación Municipal, the municipal master plan that sets where and how much can be built, tendered at 289,256 euros. The Diputación is evaluating water and sewerage in Rioja, at 408,926, and the Benahadux roads, at 66,116. Pechina still needs a builder for its public car park, at 47,507.
• Skatepark, changing rooms and railings in the city of Almería. In the city, still being assessed are the skatepark in the Parque de los Periodistas at 247,931 euros, the changing rooms in Los Ángeles, at 315,131, the railings on public roads, at 177,333, the sports lighting and the safety coordination in Los Pintores.
• Viator, Las Negras and Rioja have closed their window. Bidding has closed for the Ciudad Deportiva in Viator, at 227,421 euros, the pedestrian accessibility works in Las Negras, in Níjar, at 71,640, and the bridge over the Andarax in Rioja, at 57,851.

ZIMA, JARQUIL and eight more firms will carry out ten public works, led by 1.6 million at the university

• The Almería campus splits a refurbishment and classrooms between two builders. The University of Almería has already awarded, that is, chosen a company. Builder ZIMA DESARROLLOS INTEGRALES will carry out the refurbishment of the Paseo de la Universidad building, tendered at 1.65 million euros before VAT, and builder JARQUIL CONSTRUCCIÓN the advanced teaching classrooms, at 393,282.
• Huércal de Almería extends its sports centre and renews its water mains. INSTALACIONES Y CONSTRUCCIONES ALMERIA has the extension of the sports hall, tendered at 1.53 million euros, Fircosa Desarrollos the water supply networks, at 358,901, and EL MORADOR DEL PAISAJE the design and site management, at 55,000.
• Light for Campohermoso and new asphalt on its access road. Instalaciones Electricas Segura will renew the outdoor lighting of Campohermoso and other villages of Níjar, tendered at 1.05 million euros, and CONSTRUCCIONES GLESA the surface of the provincial road AL-3111 towards Campohermoso, a Diputación contract tendered at 148,760.
• Hot water for two sports complexes and two airport jobs in the city of Almería. Albedo Solar will install the hot water for the sports complexes, tendered at 77,411 euros. At Almería Airport, MOELMO INSTALACIONES will switch the lighting of the access roads to LED, at 211,140, and BTG OBRAS Y SERVICIOS will fit a false ceiling, at 22,965.

Almond growers and FP students in Almería can apply for two regional grant lines

• Almond producers get a dedicated grant scheme. On 5 October the Consejería de Agricultura called grants for holders of almond farms, according to the BDNS, the national grants register, and Desarrollo Educativo travel grants for Formación Profesional (FP) students, studies that train people for a trade. Amount and deadline are in each official entry.
• Rural culture, heritage and employment advice, with regional and provincial lines. The Agencia Andaluza de Instituciones Culturales publishes the promotion of culture in rural areas, the Diputación assistance for interpretation centres in municipalities of fewer than 20,000 inhabitants and the Instituto Andaluz de la Mujer a line for trade unions that advise women facing discrimination at work. None of the three says whether applications will open.
• A museum, a club, an association and two foundations, with their money already assigned. The Consejería de Cultura allocates a subvención nominativa, a grant earmarked for a named recipient, to the Museo del Realismo Español Contemporáneo de Almería (MUREC), the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Realism. Níjar town council funds the Club de Atletismo Sayma, the Diputación the Bomberos del Levante Almeriense association and the Fundación Almeriense de Apoyos Judiciales, and the Servicio Andaluz de Empleo the Fundación Andaluza para Personas con Enfermedad Mental.

A week in the Almería comarca marked by the Port, which adds the refurbishment of walkways 4 and 5 to the seafront tender, while Almería city council settles the former Colegio Virgen del Socorro contest and three auctions near their close. Huércal de Almería enlarges its pabellón, builder already picked, and still has to pick who erects its fire station. Níjar sees two companies born and waits on the sports works in Campohermoso. Gádor weighs offers from the teams that would draw up its planning, Rioja for improving its water and sewerage, Benahadux for its municipal roads and Pechina for a car park site. For Santa Fe de Mondújar, seven blank days, since its name is absent from tendered works, auctions or incorporations.
