Puerto-Ciudad, a 20,042,739 euro port tender on the Almería coast, enters its last ten days

Puerto-Ciudad, a seafront project tendered by the Autoridad Portuaria de Almería, leads by amount the live tenders in the Almería comarca and its deadline closes on the 16th. Viator sees two plots of more than 12,000 metres being auctioned while Níjar welcomes a new restaurant with 40,000 euros of capital.

The Autoridad Portuaria needs someone to raise Puerto-Ciudad before the 16 October deadline runs out

Puerto-Ciudad still awaits bids from construction firms. The Autoridad Portuaria de Almería published on 24 July the tender for the works on the seafront in the Puerto-Ciudad areas, tendered at 20,042,739 euros excluding VAT, that is, before tax. A licitación is a public tender, in which companies bid to carry out works or a service. Builders can submit theirs until 16 October. It is the largest of the tenders with an open deadline in the Almería comarca.
The Diputación signs the only tender launched in recent days. The Diputación, the provincial council, which mainly serves small towns, published on 30 September the electric vehicle charging and the solar photovoltaic system of the Moisés Ruiz sports hall, tendered at 194,215 euros excluding VAT, with bids until 20 October.
Three more tenders close on the 7th and the 8th. On the 7th the deadline runs out for the electrical maintenance of the ports of Almería and Carboneras, a services contract of 297,958 euros, and for the pedestrian accessibility of Las Negras, in Níjar, of 71,640 euros, which is out to tender again after a first procedure. On the 8th the one for the Ciudad Deportiva de Viator, tendered at 227,421, comes to an end.

The Universidad de Almería entrusts Zima with refurbishing its Edificio Paseo, works tendered at 1,649,940 euros

From March to August, when each job went out to tender

The Edificio Paseo gets its construction firm. The Universidad de Almería awarded Zima Desarrollos Integrales the refurbishment and extension of the Edificio Paseo, tendered at 1,649,940 euros excluding VAT. The award is the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work.
The AL-3111 road finds its surfacing contractor. The Diputación awarded Construcciones Glesa the surfacing of the AL-3111 road, tendered at 148,760 euros excluding VAT. The Patronato Municipal de Deportes de Almería commissioned Albedo Solar to supply the hot water for its sports complexes, tendered at 77,411.
Ten contracts where a firm is named add up to 5,497,602 euros of tendering. The other 7 are earlier: the sports hall, the water supply networks and a works project in Huércal de Almería, the street lighting of Níjar, the classrooms of the Universidad, a minor job at the Airport and the LED lighting of the Airport roads, which Aena, the company that runs Spain's state network of airports and heliports, tendered at 211,140 euros and which Moelmo Instalaciones is handling. The two largest on this list are the sports hall, tendered at 1,532,808 euros, and the street lighting of Níjar, at 1,047,394.

Viator and Almería city keep five auctions live, among them a 12,496 metre plot of developable land

Three closing days between 8 and 14 October

Viator holds the two lots with the largest surface area. A rural estate of 13,422 metres of land takes bids until 8 October and a 12,496 metre plot of developable land, until the 14th. A subasta judicial is a public sale ordered by a court.
Three Almería city properties run out of time on the 13th and the 14th. A home of 86 built metres and a commercial unit of 74 usable metres take bids until 13 October. The unit is in a 2007 building of 4 homes with a median CasasValue of 128,423 euros per home. The CasasValue is the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home. Another home takes bids until the 14th. Bidding takes place on the Portal de Subastas, the BOE's official website where courts and public bodies auction property and anyone who registers can bid.
Three more auctions have ended since 30 September. In the city of Almería the home of 71 built metres, in a building with a median CasasValue of 104,580 euros per home, closed on 30 September, and the home of 78 built metres, on 5 October. The industrial unit of 200 built metres in Viator closed on the 1st. The BOE is Spain's Official State Gazette, which publishes laws and official notices.

A Níjar restaurant puts in 40,000 of the 56,550 euros with which seven companies start out

Five of the seven choose the city of Almería

A hospitality venture in Níjar starts out with 40,000 euros. Parrosseta contributes 70.7 per cent of the capital of the 7 companies of the Almería comarca published in the BORME, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies, capital changes and closures must be published by law, from 28 September to 2 October. Share capital is the money the partners put in when founding the company, not its turnover.
Almería city records Vicri Capital and Reparaciones Francaluz. They are Vicri Capital, with 3,000 euros of capital, and Reparaciones Francaluz, in refurbishment and installations, with 50 euros.
Housing draws a holiday lettings manager and an inspection firm. Alinsur-25 manages property and holiday lets and Auditacasa inspects homes.
Clothing retail and vegetable growing round off the newly registered firms. Nuva Shop, from Huércal de Almería, will retail clothing, footwear and leather goods, and Níjar Alborán, based in the city of Almería, will grow vegetables. Each one is born with 3,000 euros of capital.

Fire station in Huércal de Almería and sport in Campohermoso weigh over 2 million each among 12 contracts lacking a company

The 12 pending procedures bring together 7,095,179 euros of tendering. The Parque de Bomberos, the fire station of Huércal de Almería, was tendered at 2,067,777 euros excluding VAT and the sports facilities of Campohermoso, in Níjar, at 2,067,029.
Almería city has five contracts still undecided. They are the city council's street lighting, the bicycle circuit at the Recinto Ferial, the new skatepark at the Parque de los Periodistas, tendered at 247,931 euros excluding VAT, the solar photovoltaic system of the Universidad and the safety of an urban regeneration scheme. Separately there are two procedures already resolved whose company does not appear in the data of this edition: the link between the Rambla de Belén and the Muelle de Levante, tendered at 310,415 euros, and the water pipes of the Airport, at 102,279.
Rioja, Gádor, Benahadux and Pechina wait for water, a plan, tracks and parking. Still without a company are the water supply of Rioja, the general plan of Gádor, the rural tracks of Benahadux, the bridge over the Andarax in Rioja and the car park of Pechina.

From 28 September to 5 October, the Almería comarca had its largest live tender in the Puerto-Ciudad port works. In Almería city, the Universidad named the construction company for its Edificio Paseo, five contracts await a company, among them a skatepark, three properties remain at auction and five companies were born. Níjar learned who will rehabilitate its AL-3111 road and hosts the company starting out on the biggest capital. The pedestrian improvement of Las Negras remains out to tender. Huércal de Almería lacks a chosen firm for its firefighters' building and records a clothes shop. Viator keeps bids open on its Ciudad Deportiva through the 8th and sees a rural estate and a developable plot being auctioned. Rioja has its water supply works plus the mending of the Andarax bridge not yet awarded, Gádor its general planning, Pechina a plot for parking and Benahadux several municipal tracks. Santa Fe de Mondújar gets no separate mention among the tenders, auctions and new companies of these days.
