Xixona and Agost tender 1.72 million in school works and El Campello awards eight contracts

El Campello shares out 5.24 million in works, and a single company, Proteus, puts up almost nine in ten euros of the capital registered across the Alicante comarca.

Xixona and Agost put 1.72 million of work on their schools out to bid

• The Xixona school goes out to tender for 1,458,001 euros. The Junta de Gobierno published on 22 September the full refurbishment of CEIP Cristòfol Colom, within the Pla Edificant. Bids until 13 October.
• Agost air-conditions CEIP La Rambla and bids are due today. The Town Council is tendering the air conditioning and ventilation of the primary classrooms for 266,487 euros. The window closes today, 28 September.
• CEIP Costa Blanca replaces its flooring and the bidding period ends on 30 September. The Dirección Territorial de Educación tenders the replacement of the indoor flooring of this school in the city of Alicante for 393,795 euros.
• La Cañada del Fenollar awaits a contractor for its new school. The CEIP de La Cañada del Fenollar, worth 4,839,881 euros, has awaited a contractor since bids closed on 20 July. Also waiting on the board are the Poniente development at the port, the network of homes with socio-educational support and the SAMU roofing at Hospital Balmis.
• El Campello seeks someone to set up its festivities this very Monday. The festival infrastructure set-up, worth 52,668 euros, closes to bids on 28 September. The festival and Christmas lighting, worth 561,441 euros, is already with the board.

San Vicente auctions a home of 156 square metres and Mutxamel a plot of 8,098 square metres

• San Vicente offers 156 square metres of housing in a 2002 block. Registered at 156 square metres, in a 2002 building whose median CasasValue per home is 289,276 euros. Bid until 7 October.
• Bidding closes today, Monday, in the block with the lowest CasasValue of the day. It is a home in the city of Alicante in a 1972 block with a median CasasValue of 80,473 euros, the lowest of the 22 auctions with that figure across the 21 comarcas this morning.
• Mutxamel auctions 8,098 square metres of open land. It is the remainder of a rural estate that the notice measures at 8,097.99 square metres. As it is not a building, it has no CasasValue. Bids until 1 October.
• In the provincial capital, a commercial unit and a flat of 86 square metres remain. The commercial unit, with no floor area in the notice, closes on 5 October. The home of 86 built square metres accepts bids until 15 October.

El Campello awards 5.24 million in eight works, from the central sports hall to Calle Mayor

• El Campello renovates its central sports hall for 2.09 million. NERCO will refurbish the changing rooms, courts and pelota trinquet. Mediterráneo de Obras y Asfaltos resurfaces several streets for 1.3 million and Imesapi builds the single level platform on Calle Mayor for 578,339 euros.
• Seafront, cemetery and green space complete the El Campello package. Joraix repairs the Carrer la Mar seafront promenade, ACSA extends the cemetery niches and access, Tadeu restores the monument to the fisherman and Tuateam, the Olas Blancas green space. TECMO air-conditions the planning department building for 64,125 euros.
• Alicante City Council awards the redevelopment of Virgen del Remedio for 3.76 million. Pavasal will carry out the redevelopment of the neighbourhood with Recovery Plan funds. ACSA adds the Océano and Roselló streets, and CHM Obras the new port facilities for 750,000 euros.
• Xixona awards its day centre. The Xixona day centre has been listed as awarded for 1,189,215 euros since 21 September. Agost awarded its social centre refurbishment for 49,720 euros and Aguas de Alicante renews the Aureliano Ibarra building.
• Hospital Balmis refurbishes its auditorium. TECMO will carry out the auditorium refurbishment for 498,645 euros and Construtec the connection between the lobby and the cafeteria for 92,385.

• An asset manager is born with 1,010,000 euros of capital. Proteus Gestión de Activos, from the city of Alicante, appears in the BORME of 23 September to provide services to the companies of its group. That is nearly nine euros in ten of all capital in the comarca this week.
• Eight of the newcomers are in housing or construction. Among them, Evolución y Obras, Ardaya Real Estate, WH Construct in San Vicente and Vidalta Global, which with 3,200 euros has the most capital.
• Hospitality businesses across the comarca have the Bono Hostalería 2026 open to them. Turisme Comunitat Valenciana calls the Bono Hostalería 2026. Also arriving are grants for young farmers and the Plan GenT for hiring researchers. Amounts and deadlines in each listing.
• A holding company for franchise restaurants and a vehicle workshop are founded. Terreta Fast Group will group stakes in companies that operate McDonald's restaurants. In Sant Joan d'Alacant, a vehicle workshop starts with 15,000 euros, the second largest capital of the week.

In the data package for the week, Xixona tendered its school refurbishment and has its day centre listed as awarded, Agost awarded the upgrade of its social centre and is taking bids until 28 September to air-condition CEIP La Rambla, the city of Alicante adds three auctions, 35 new companies, the Virgen del Remedio redevelopment and two works at Hospital General Doctor Balmis, Mutxamel is auctioning rural land measuring 8,098 square metres, Sant Vicent del Raspeig has a 156 square metre dwelling at auction plus one new company, El Campello awarded eight works, Sant Joan d'Alacant gained two new companies, and on the CV-782 road from Relleu to La Torre de les Maçanes the road surface job is still to be awarded. Busot had no items of its own in the package and Aigües only called a municipal consumer voucher of 45,527 euros for individuals.
