The 15,210,604 euro traffic light tender of Zaragoza city council shuts on Tuesday 13

It is the biggest tender now open across the Zaragoza comarca and two others shut that Tuesday, with 18,840,748 euros between the three. The Christmas lighting of Zaragoza city council has a company chosen, Arcosur commissions the design of its phase 3 and Utebo and Zuera open 3 calls for applications with 109,000 euros.

Three tenders within the city of Zaragoza boundary shut on Tuesday 13 with 18.8 million at stake

• Tuesday 13 October brings three deadlines. A licitación is a public tender in which companies submit bids. Amounts are starting figures excluding VAT, before tax. Until that Tuesday bids are accepted for the maintenance of traffic lights and mobility management for Zaragoza city council, at 15,210,604 euros. Also closing that day are the upgrading of the old quarter of Casas Altas, in the Cenad San Gregorio, at 2,439,390, and the second phase of the recovery of the Olmeda de Torre Ramona, at 1,190,754.
• Zaragoza Vivienda seeks site direction for 32 shared homes in Torrero. The Sociedad Municipal Zaragoza Vivienda published on 8 October the dirección facultativa and the health and safety coordination for the works on 32 shared homes, at 219,150 euros. It will choose the technical team that directs the works and the deadline is 11 November.
• Two small works await bidders in Cadrete and San Mateo de Gállego. Cadrete takes proposals until 14 October to renew the final stretch of a street, at 80,078 euros, and San Mateo de Gállego until the 19th to redevelop the church park, at 191,867.
• Three sports jobs and a civic centre close on the 20th and the 21st. Zaragoza Deporte, the municipal sports company, keeps open 3 clay tennis courts at the Centro Deportivo Municipal Gran Vía and a calisthenics park beside the Embarcadero de Vadorrey. Zaragoza city council adds the leasing and maintenance of sports surfaces and the new use of the restaurant at the Centro Cívico Delicias.

A lighting company will put up Christmas in the city of Zaragoza, tendered at 1,253,428 euros

• The lights of Christmas 2026-2027 get their chosen company. Zaragoza city council records as adjudicado, the step in which the public body chooses a company, the hire, installation and removal of the Christmas lights, in 3 lots. The winner is a lighting company. The Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders, does not give the final price, only the 1,253,428 euros of the tender.
• A company is also chosen at the airport and at the Air Base. Aena, the company that runs Spain's state network of airports, records as resuelta, meaning the tender is over and has a company, the renewal of the painted markings on the aircraft parking apron at Zaragoza Airport, for PROYECTOS Y SEÑALIZACIONES. The Zaragoza Air Base does the same with the upgrading and surface upkeep of its buildings, for PINTURAS PAL. With the lights, they are the 3 contracts changing status this week in the Zaragoza comarca and total 1,465,422 euros of tender value.

Two commercial units of 220 and 230 metres lead the six live auctions of the city of Zaragoza

• Bidding on two commercial units ends on 14 and 21 October. The Portal de Subastas, the official website of the BOE, Spain's Official State Gazette, where courts and public bodies auction property, keeps in the city of Zaragoza a commercial unit of 220 metres and another of about 230 metres. They are court auctions, public sales that a court orders. In their buildings, the median CasasValue, the median of the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, is 296,972 and 297,126 euros.
• An industrial unit of 201 built metres shares the bill with rural land. The industrial unit adds a mezzanine of 55 metres, about 256 in total, according to the edicto, the official notice of the auction. Running until 22 October is an irrigated rural plot with 1,834 metres of land and 120 built metres between a house and three storehouses.
• Two homes still accept bids. One of about 60 metres accepts bids until 13 October. The other, with no metres in the notice, continues until the 21st in a building whose median CasasValue is 101,833 euros.
• Three auctions of homes ended between 5 and 8 October. Closing on the 5th were a home of 45 registered metres, in the same building of 101,833 euros, and another with three bedrooms with no metres in the notice. On the 8th one of 68 usable metres closed, in a building with a median CasasValue of 196,537 euros.

Arcosur seeks an engineering firm for the design of its phase 3, tendered at 905,000 euros excluding VAT

• Phase 3 of Arcosur takes the step that comes before the machinery. The Junta de Compensación del Sector 89-3 Arcosur, in the city of Zaragoza, published on 4 October the tender to draw up the urban development project for phase 3, tendered at 905,000 euros. Engineering firms can apply until 16 November.
• The previous phase has found its builder. The urban development of phase 2 Resto Sur, tendered at 5,909,384 euros excluding VAT, appears as awarded to OBRAS ESPECIALES EDIFICACION E INFRAESTRUCTURAS. The phase 3 project is equivalent to 15.3% of that amount.
• ARCOSUR C67 C68 starts life in the BORME with property development as its purpose. The BORME, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies appear, records in its issue of 6 October 8 incorporations, all in the city of Zaragoza. ARCOSUR C67 C68 starts with 3,000 euros. Alongside it in the sector are ELEVANUBE, in installations on building sites, and EOS INMOBILIARIA 1973, in intermediation.

Twenty-one contracts in the Zaragoza comarca still lack a known company and the river Huerva has the biggest

• There are 16 contracts under assessment, 8 of them from Zaragoza city council. Under assessment means the public body is studying the bids. The largest is the refurbishment and extension of a pharmacy of the Servicio Aragonés de Salud, at 9,662,453 euros. Next come the acuerdo marco for works in municipal buildings, a contract that sets for several years the terms of the jobs, at 8,264,463, and the one for roadway paving, at 7,200,000.
• Two works around the Pilar are still pending. The intervention works in the square, at 741,375 euros, remain under assessment and those at the Fuente de Goya, tendered at 726,849 euros excluding VAT, appear as awarded with no successful bidder published. Zaragoza city council is also assessing the surroundings of the Nueva Romareda, at 3,595,529, the Biblioteca de Santa Orosia, the bandstand of a park and the one in the Parque de la Aljafería.
• The University of Zaragoza awaits a decision for the Campus San Francisco. The refurbishment and extension of its sports facilities went out at 5,604,387 euros, and some computer rooms are waiting too. The Cortes de Aragón are studying the restoration of a staircase in the Palacio de la Aljafería, Zaragoza Deporte a sports court and another in a park, Cuarte de Huerva phase 1 of the Parque Río Huerva, at 1,678,950, and San Mateo de Gállego the riverside park.
• The river Huerva contract, at 13,896,193 euros, is the largest of those lacking a known company. Ecociudad Zaragoza has as resuelta, with no successful bidder published, the second phase of restoring the river Huerva surroundings. No longer accepting bids are the parks of María de Huerva, the assisted care room in Alfajarín and the Acuario stairs, from the company Expo Zaragoza Empresarial.

Utebo and Zuera launch 3 sport and culture grant lines with 109,000 euros

• Three municipal calls came out on 7 October. The BDNS, the National Grants Database, records 3 convocatorias, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant. The one from Utebo town council for sports activities in 2026 has 80,000 euros and a 20-day window from when its extract appears in the provincial gazette. Zuera town council launches one for sport, with 4,000 euros, and another for culture, with 25,000, until 31 October. All three go to organisations with no economic activity.
• Eight grants come with their recipient decided beforehand. The Gobierno de Aragón gives direct grants to the committee that organises the Día del Libro and the Feria del Libro de Zaragoza 2026, to two universities for the Campeonato de Aragón Universitario and to a workplace sport association. Zaragoza city council signs 4 agreements with social organisations, among them one for social and labour integration and another for homeless young people. The Diputación Provincial de Zaragoza, the government of the province, published its Plan de la Agenda 2030.
