The Port of Santander assigns a builder to Raos 2 and the Vial Sur, tendered at 3.5 million

- The most expensive job of recent days now has its builder. The Autoridad Portuaria de Santander, the port authority, has chosen Copsesau for the works the port calls Cajón Raos 2. They went out to licitación, a public tender in which companies submit bids, at 2,802,893 euros excluding VAT, that is, before tax, and the official procurement portal has listed them since 2 October.
- The south road of the port precinct also has a company. Servicios y Obras del Norte will pave the so-called Vial Sur, works tendered at 682,893 euros excluding VAT.
- The fishing area needs someone who will renew a roof. The roof of the cold storage building went out to tender on 30 September with a budget of 112,008 euros excluding VAT and accepts bids until 27 October.

The three works went out to tender at 2,186,546 euros excluding VAT, 29.9% of the tendered amount of the nine.

And Gestel XXI is fitting the kitchens of eight affordable rental homes in Santillana del Mar, tendered at 31,200 euros.
Eleven works tenders accept bids for 6.75 million and El Verdoso is the second largest

- The El Verdoso skittles stadium seeks its builder. The company Gestión de Viviendas e Infraestructuras en Cantabria put the refurbishment of the El Verdoso skittles stadium out to tender on 2 October, in the city of Santander, at 1,345,985 euros excluding VAT. It accepts bids until 28 October.
- Medical consulting rooms, a classroom and a bandstand complete the five new arrivals. The Cantabrian public health system adds two consulting rooms to the Medio Cudeyo health centre, with a budget of 343,578 euros excluding VAT and a deadline of 3 November. Liérganes adapts a classroom for one-year-olds at the Eugenio Perojo school, tendered at 75,596 euros, until 30 October. Ampuero repairs the bandstand in the Plaza Mayor, tendered at 33,950 euros, until the 20th.
- Six earlier tenders remain open. - The road from Requejada to Suances and a regional service are counted separately. The road between Requejada and Suances is a concession, a contract in which the company designs, finances, builds and operates the road. It is tendered at 164,254,218 euros excluding VAT, 24 times the sum of the eleven tenders, and accepts bids until 30 November. The maintenance of the court buildings of the whole of Cantabria, tendered at 518,017 euros excluding VAT, accepts them until 19 October.
Six auctions in the Santander comarca and the nearest closes on 8 October

- A home of 71 built metres opens the calendar on 8 October. The first lot of that auction, a public sale ordered by a court in which anyone can bid, is in a building from 1962. The CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, has a median of 121,253 euros in that building.
- One commercial unit and one plot of unirrigated land close on the 14th. The unit, of 16 metres, is in the city of Santander and the edicto, the official notice of the auction, does not specify whether they are usable or built metres. The unirrigated plot is in Santa María de Cayón and its area is not recorded.
- Two more auctions, one in Comillas, close on 15 October. One has 64 usable metres in the city of Santander, in a 2012 building with a median CasasValue of 379,346 euros. The other is in Comillas and the edicto gives no total area.
- The last auction is a detached home standing on a 1,350 metre plot. It closes on 18 October and the CasasValue of the house, built in 1989, is 833,304 euros.
Of 25 registered grants, eight accept applications and three are from Colindres and Bareyo

- Municipalities at risk of depopulation may now get a cash machine. The Consejería de Presidencia de Cantabria, the regional government's department of the presidency, is calling a grant to install and maintain cash machines in those municipalities. It has been listed since 29 September in the BDNS, the National Grants Database, and the official record says who can apply, how much and until when. The same day brought a practical training scholarship for postgraduates in industrial innovation.
- Colindres and Bareyo open their own calls. On 1 October Colindres registered two scholarship lines with a budget of 12,000 euros each, to train instructors and coaches and for local athletes who compete elsewhere. Bareyo is calling grants for books and school materials for the 2026-2027 school year, with 3,500 euros. All three are for individuals and are applied for within fifteen working days, the days left once Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are excluded, from their publication in the Boletín Oficial de Cantabria, the regional official gazette.
- The other 17 come with a recipient attached. They are earmarked grants, direct grants or agreements, such as the one from the Gobierno de Cantabria for equality plans in SMEs, and nobody can apply for them. The other three calls are a grant for master's degree enrolment and two prizes for Formación Profesional, vocational education and training, the projects prize and the extraordinary prize for Grado Básico.
