A Teià baby goods firm supplies 60,000 of the 190,536 euros behind 23 new Maresme comarca firms

The Maresme comarca gained 23 companies from 7 to 14 October, sixth of the 21 published today, and NEVONAL S.L, a Teià company that sells high-end goods for babies, put in 60,000 of the 190,536 euros of the 23. A property broker and three builders or developers join them, and the Generalitat opened four calls for grants.

Pineda de Mar adds a property broker with 6,875 euros. ESTUDI COSTA MARESME S.L, based in Pineda de Mar, was entered on 8 October in the BORME, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies are published. It will broker sales and lettings for third parties and starts with 6,875 euros of share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company.
Mataró and Palafolls gain two building firms with 3,000 euros each. In Mataró, SUNSHINE EMPRESITE S.L will do installation work on building sites from 13 October, and from the 14th ALUMOON PALAFOLLS S.L, in Palafolls, refurbishment, restoration and own-account development.
Vilassar de Dalt gains a developer that holds its own property. The third, from Vilassar de Dalt, was born on 13 October with 3,000 euros to buy, build, refurbish and let property, according to its activity in the BORME.

Fourteen businesses open with 3,000 euros, from a Mataró kitchen to El Masnou software

Seventeen of the 23 start with exactly 3,000 euros

Food and drink make up five of the group of fourteen. SERVICIOS GASTRONOMICOS MATARO S.L cooks packaged ready-to-eat dishes in Mataró and GRAN MURALLA DE ORO MASNOU S.L opens a hospitality business in El Masnou, both from 14 October, alongside a Mataró catering firm. MARESME MATARO GROUP RESTAURANT S.L has a restaurant in Òrrius and BEL-AIR RESIDENCIAL S.L is a restaurant and social club in Cabrils.
Software and consultancy choose El Masnou and Cabrils. Born in El Masnou were IFONG LABS S.L, with species-spotting apps, BELKON INNOVATION S.L, in consultancy, and UMBRA CARDS S.L, in training. VANGUARD INFINITY S.L advises from Cabrils and GNERAI PARTNERS S.L writes software and produces video in Cabrera de Mar.
Four shops and trades complete the group. EL RETROVISOR BARCELONA S.L sells leisure and culture in Vilassar de Dalt, MOCTRA NAILS S.L is a beauty salon in Arenys de Mar, and in Mataró OPTIMIZACION Y EFICIENCIA ENERGETICA S.L brokers electricity and gas and TRANSLOGIC APE S.L freight transport.

A high-end baby goods firm in Teià, with 60,000 euros, outdoes the 22 companies born alongside it

Sixth of 21, above the average for the day

NEVONAL starts in Teià with more money than any other. NEVONAL S.L was born on 14 October in Teià with 60,000 euros. It contributes 31.5 per cent of the capital of the 23.
Behind it come Alella with 46,000 and Mataró with 20,000. A holding in Alella, a company whose business is holding shares or stakes in other companies, put in 46,000 euros (BORME of the 13th), and together the two exceed 55.6 per cent. SPORT REHAB TRAINER 2 S.L opened a sports centre in Mataró with 20,000.
Two shops come in just above 3,000 euros. A grocery in Mataró started with 3,655 euros (BORME of the 9th) and a phone repair shop in Montgat with 3,006 (BORME of the 13th). The 23 add up to 190,536 euros, 62.5 per cent less than the 508,642 of the previous week, when a Mataró property holding company put in 325,000.

Three homes in Mataró and Premià de Dalt closed their bidding, one of 89 metres

Bidding for 89 metres in Mataró closed on 14 October. The auction SUB-JA-2026-265312, a public sale ordered by a court, on the Portal de Subastas, the official website of the BOE, the Official State Gazette of Spain, offered 89 registered metres, those recorded in the property register, plus a balcony.
The second Mataró home, in a building whose median CasasValue per home is 344,882 euros, closed on the 13th. The auction SUB-JA-2026-235924 gives no metres. The CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, is here the building median, from 2005.
Premià de Dalt closed the first, on 7 October. The auction SUB-JA-2025-256108 offered a home in Premià de Dalt, without metres. Future ones will appear on the Portal de Subastas.

Four Catalan calls for grants, from equality in small firms to beekeeping

Four of the eight entries in this section are open to applications

Firms with under 50 staff get a grant call to draw up an equality plan, the set of measures a company adopts to achieve equal treatment of women and men. The Departament d'Igualtat i Feminisme published on 9 October in the BDNS, the National Grants Database, this call for applications, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant.
The Generalitat subsidises training contracts. The SOC, the Catalan Public Employment Service, opened the same day the 2026 scheme for training contracts that provide work experience.
Folk culture and bee and rabbit farms, too. On 13 October the Generalitat opened a scheme for regular programming at venues run by folk culture groups. On the 7th it published de minimis grants, small grants subject to a per-company ceiling set by the European Union, for beekeeping and rabbit farming.
Vilassar de Mar reached agreements with two local organisations. They are Centre d'Estudis Vilassarencs and Grup Opinió Vilassar. The ICEC, the Generalitat body that supports cultural businesses, recorded the entry Casa de la Música Mataró and Palafolls that of the Associació Eduale, without saying if one can apply.

Between 7 and 14 October the Maresme comarca registered 23 start-ups, seven in Mataró, four in El Masnou and the rest in Cabrils, Teià, Pineda de Mar, Òrrius, Vilassar de Dalt, Palafolls, Alella, Arenys de Mar, Montgat and Cabrera de Mar. Auction bidding has shut on three homes, two in Mataró and one in Premià de Dalt, and Vilassar de Mar struck deals with two local organisations. The four Catalan calls also cover Calella, Caldes d'Estrac, Tiana, Malgrat de Mar, Argentona, Tordera, Premià de Mar, Sant Pol de Mar, Sant Vicenç de Montalt, Dosrius, Arenys de Munt, Canet de Mar, Santa Susanna, Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, Sant Iscle de Vallalta and Sant Cebrià de Vallalta, municipalities with no local developments this week.
