Ocaña, Corral de Almaguer and La Puebla de Almoradiel seek builders for 577,575 euros of works

In the Mancha Toledana comarca, three works tenders add up to 577,575 euros before VAT with bidding still open, the largest being 340,255 euros to redevelop Calle Lope de Vega in Ocaña, open until 7 October. Villatobas has already awarded the turf for its football pitch, works budgeted at 383,061 euros before VAT that outweigh the whole Ocaña street, Consuegra awards the fencing of its pitch and NAVALQUITE SL bets on beef cattle there, in Ontígola a prepared meals company starts out with 45,000 euros, while the regional government, the Junta, shares out seven million euros until 30 November to remove barriers in homes.

Calle Lope de Vega in Ocaña heads the works tenders whose bidding window has yet to close

Ocaña opens the redevelopment of Calle Lope de Vega to bids. Ocaña town council published on 17 September the tender for the new layout of Calle Lope de Vega, worth 340,255 euros before VAT. Builders have until 7 October to submit a bid.
Corral de Almaguer and La Puebla de Almoradiel are looking for a builder for their streets. Corral de Almaguer accepts bids until 30 September to renew the sewers of several streets for 124,361 euros before VAT, and La Puebla de Almoradiel until 5 October to resurface others for 112,959 euros before VAT. The previous resurfacing of several streets in La Puebla, put out to tender in January 2025, went to CONSTRUCCIONES GISMERO SAU, with a budget of 80,175 euros before VAT, a benchmark for anyone bidding now.
Villatobas and Consuegra already have builders for their football pitches. Villatobas awarded REALTURF SYSTEMS SL the artificial turf for its football pitch, works with a budget of 383,061 euros before VAT, more than the entire redevelopment of Calle Lope de Vega in Ocaña. Consuegra gave ORPE SOLADOS Y ALICATADOS SL the fencing of its municipal pitch, with a budget of 55,111 euros before VAT.
Yepes, Urda and Consuegra have 388,176 euros of works still to award. With bidding already closed, three projects are still being assessed: the refurbishment of the municipal swimming pool in Yepes, at 204,101 euros, the sports hall in Urda, at 124,078 euros, and the roof over a padel court in Consuegra, at 59,997 euros, all before VAT. Consuegra has also settled the tender to strengthen the perimeter wall of its bullring, worth 44,547 euros before VAT.

Ontígola launches the best capitalised company and Turleque one that builds timber houses

One company puts in €45,000 of the €77,000

Ontígola registers the new company with most capital among this week's BORME entries in the Mancha Toledana comarca. DELI BOCADO SL registers in Ontígola with 45,000 euros of capital to make ready meals and prepared dishes. A business consultancy is set up in the same municipality with 3,000 euros.
Turleque will have a timber house factory. XYLOS HOME 25 SL starts up in Turleque with 3,000 euros to fit timber joinery and to manufacture and assemble prefabricated houses. It is the only construction company registered in the Mancha Toledana comarca from 19 to 26 September.
Vineyards, cattle and hospitality add three more companies. VICATERRA 3 SL is founded in Villanueva de Alcardete with 20,000 euros to grow vines and provide farm support services, NAVALQUITE SL will raise beef cattle in Consuegra with 3,000 euros, and in Mora a hospitality company opens with the same capital.

Seven million from the Junta to remove barriers at home, as Quintanar finishes Calle Grande with provincial money

The Junta puts up seven million to remove barriers in homes. The Junta de Comunidades, the regional government of Castilla-La Mancha, is sharing out up to seven million euros among individuals who want to make their home, or the way into it, accessible. Applications are accepted until 30 November.
The provincial council pays for Calle Grande in Quintanar and the padel court in El Romeral. The Diputación de Toledo, the provincial council, signs an agreement with Quintanar de la Orden to resurface the final stretch of Calle Grande, works put out to tender for 247,931 euros before VAT and already settled. El Romeral will replace the turf on its padel court and improve its street lighting through another investment agreement, and Urda will upgrade its care home for the elderly.
Madridejos and Corral de Almaguer dig into their past with provincial money. Madridejos signs agreements with the provincial council for the excavation of the Bronze Age site on the Cerro del Cabalgador, for its Banda Sinfónica, the town's symphonic band, to take part in the Benavente competition and for the garden at its day centre. Corral de Almaguer receives another to research the Cerro del Gollino. Also signing are the Madridejos disability association ASODEMA, the racing team behind the XLI Autocross de Consuegra, ASPRODIQ of Quintanar de la Orden, with 6,400 euros, and the Alzheimer's association of Villanueva de Alcardete.
Town councils and their bands can already apply for the 2027 culture grants. The provincial council opens its 2027 calls early for the cultural programme of town councils and for the province's bands and music associations.
