In the Madrid comarca, made up only of the city of Madrid, 347 companies are born. Of them, 59 are developers, builders or rental managers, against 114 in the sector across the 21 comarcas covered this Tuesday. Until 15 December TURESPAÑA keeps in contest the concession to build and operate a conference and exhibition centre, tendered at 1,279 million before VAT. Three court auctions end from the 13th to the 15th.

The city of Madrid sees 347 companies born and two holding companies outweigh all the others in capital

Two holding companies outweigh 255 companies of 3,000 euros

From Monday 5 to Friday 9 October, 347 companies are born. The BORME, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies must be published by law, records in its issues of 5, 7, 8 and 9 October 347 incorporations with a registered address in the city of Madrid and 5.6 million in share capital, the money the partners put in. Wednesday 7's issue carries 127.
255 of the 347 start with 3,000 euros, 73.5 per cent. It is the most frequent figure, according to the BORME of 9 October and the earlier issues. Only one sociedad anónima, a public limited company, of the 347 has no capital listed in the gazette.
Two holding companies from the 5th gather 3,026,700 euros and leave the other 345 behind. ANISELIA SL, whose objeto social, the activities it declares it will carry on, is managing holdings in other companies, is born with 2,412,300 euros and TENARJI SL, on the same day, with 614,400. Together they put up 53.9 per cent of the capital of the 347.
Households looking after patients with complex chronic conditions can apply under a new regional notice. The Comunidad de Madrid's Family department published on 9 October the call for applications, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, for the 2026 grants for families caring for patients with complex chronic conditions. That notice sets who can apply, how much and until when. Madrid city council also registered a nominative grant, a grant earmarked for a named recipient, to Faciam for homeless people.

A 1,279 million Palacio de Congresos heads the city of Madrid's 25 live construction contests

The main deadlines fall in October and the largest in December

TURESPAÑA's tender for a Palacio de Congresos stays open until 15 December. TURESPAÑA keeps open the tender, a public contest in which companies submit bids, for the concession to design, build and operate a Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones in the city, tendered at 1,279,250,000 euros before VAT, that is before taxes.
That contract is worth 7.3 times the combined value of the rest. The Plataforma de Contratación del Sector Público, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders, lists 25 with works in the city that are accepting bids, worth 1,455 million. One is the football pitch at calle Félix Candela 18, in Valdebebas, which Madrid city council put out to tender this week at 6.2 million, with bids until 13 November.
Campamento prepares the land for a new housing district. The Junta de Compensación de Campamento is tendering, at 94.9 million, the development works for phases 1 and 2 of the residential scheme, the step before homes can be built, until 10 November. The offices at Retama 3, at 19.1 million, also remain open.
The tracks at Atocha, Laguna and Embajadores close their deadlines in October. ADIF, the state body that manages Spain's railway tracks and stations, closes bids on Friday 16 for the platforms at Laguna and Embajadores, at 44.3 million, and on the 23rd for the track switches at Atocha Cercanías, Recoletos side, at 2.8 million. The fish hall at Mercamadrid, at 1.9 million, also closes on the 16th.
The Banco de España will turn a space at Cibeles into an art archive. The Banco de España is looking, until the 21st, for a company to convert space D-10 at Cibeles into an archive for works of art, at 1.4 million.

In the city of Madrid, bidding for a garage share and two homes ends between Tuesday 13 and Thursday 15

Twenty days of bidding for each property

The share of a car park closes this Tuesday 13. On the Portal de Subastas, the official website of the BOE, Spain's Official State Gazette, bidding remains open until the 13th for a 9.78 per cent share of a car park in the city of Madrid, in a court auction, a public sale ordered by a court.
On Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 bidding ends for two homes. One is in a building whose CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, has a median of 437,303 euros, and its bidding closes on the 14th. The other is a home of 45 registered square metres that closes on the 15th.
Between 5 and 8 October four auctions came to an end. Bidding closed for a home of 58 registered square metres in a building with a median CasasValue of 214,252 euros and a garage in a building with a median CasasValue of 572,715 euros, both on the 5th, a home of 59 built square metres on the 7th and another of 67 built square metres on the 8th. That makes seven in the Madrid comarca, against 12 the previous week.

The Paseo Verde del Suroeste heads the 93 public contracts already resolved in the city of Madrid

Municipal housing and Planning sign one in three

Two pairs of builders will put the A-5 underground along Paseo de Extremadura. Madrid city council has resolved, meaning the tender is over and the contract has been closed, the Paseo Verde del Suroeste, which puts the A-5 underground, tendered at 287.1 million before VAT. It will be carried out in two lots by a joint venture of Ferrovial and Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas and another of Dragados and Acciona.
Three builders working together remake Platón, in Ciudad Lineal. The city council also resolved the redesign of the Plaza de Platón in favour of three builders working together, Seranco, Ingeniería Obras y Tecnología Europea and Prodesur, and the works on the metropolitan forest.
A new logistics and electric mobility centre is on its way for the EMT. The Empresa Municipal de Transportes, Madrid's Municipal Transport Company, commissioned the builder Edhinor for its new logistics and electric mobility centre.
Barajas, the Senate and Cuatro Vientos also have their company. Aena, the company that runs Spain's state network of airports, commissioned the firm Cymi for the renewal of an uninterruptible power supply system at Barajas. The Mesa del Senado, the Senate's governing board, completed the adjudicación, the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work, for the refurbishment of its car park, and the Ejército del Aire, the Air Force, resolved the extension of building 23S at the Cuatro Vientos base.

The city of Madrid registers 59 bricks and mortar companies and LALIN GESTION INMOBILIARIA starts with 300,000 euros

The Madrid comarca registers half of the new property companies

Developers, builders and rental managers account for 59 of the 347 new companies. Together they have 496,122 euros in capital. LALIN GESTION INMOBILIARIA SL is born on 5 October with 300,000 euros to buy, manage and let property, 60.5 per cent of the sector's capital.
46 of the 59 start with 3,000 euros. No other of the 21 comarcas that CASAS.ES covers this Tuesday registers as many in the sector, and the closest has eight, according to the week's BORME.

Atocha's Sala Hipóstila and 42 other city of Madrid commissions have yet to learn their contractor

The largest contracts at each stage in the city

ADIF Alta Velocidad is studying who will repair the hypostyle roof at Atocha. With the deadline closed on 31 August, the repair of the roof of the Sala Hipóstila at Puerta de Atocha station, tendered at 3.1 million before VAT, is under assessment: the public body is assessing the bids. It is run by ADIF Alta Velocidad, the state-owned body for high-speed rail infrastructure.
The largest contract under review is the EMT operations centre. The Empresa Municipal de Transportes is reviewing bids to design and build its operations centre, at 134.3 million, and the EMVS, Madrid's Municipal Housing and Land Company, a design and build contract of 100.1 million. ADIF is reviewing the signalling of the C-5 between Atocha and Humanes, at 70.2 million, with part of the line in the city.
Of the 43, 32 are under review and 11 closed their deadline without yet reaching that stage. Among those 11 is the first phase of the renewal of lighting in the M-30 tunnels, a supply contract of Madrid Calle 30, at 5.1 million, with the deadline closed on 6 October.
