Castilla-La Mancha puts up 50 million to renovate homes and Daimiel tenders 7 works for almost 2 million

Castilla-La Mancha offers anyone renovating their home 50 million euros in regional aid, and requests will be admitted until 30 November. Looking at the full La Mancha de Ciudad Real comarca, there are 15 open tenders for 3.35 million, close to 60 per cent of it from Daimiel town council, while the Centro Tecnológico in Tomelloso, at 4.5 million, awaits a decision.

Six works were put out to bid on Thursday 8 for about 745,000 euros and Daimiel signs three

How the 745,412.67 euros are shared out
  • The Daimiel resurfacing heads the batch, and bids are taken up to the 28th. Daimiel town council published on 8 October the licitación, a public tender in which companies submit bids, for the resurfacing of streets at 360,261.40 euros excluding VAT, before tax. It came out on the Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders, the same day as five other works in the La Mancha de Ciudad Real comarca. The six add up to about 745,000 euros. The resurfacing takes almost half and accepts bids until 28 October.
  • Three out of those six tenders carry the signature of Daimiel town hall. Daimiel is also tendering the new Plaza del Silo, with bids until 28 October, and the repair of unpaved rural tracks, which accepts proposals until 3 November. Between the three they gather more than 540,000 euros.
  • Tomelloso repairs an athletics track and Villarrubia de los Ojos replaces street lamps. Tomelloso town council is tendering the repair of an athletics track, until 28 October, and the fitting out of premises for training workshops, until the 23rd. The council of Villarrubia de los Ojos puts out the renewal of the public lighting of one of its streets and the adjoining ones, with bids until the 28th.
