Gran Bilbao comarca start-ups leap from 25 to 43 as NICSOL GAMA HOMES puts 800,000 euros into Leioa

Eighteen registrations more than last time lift the Gran Bilbao comarca to 43 new companies, with only the comarca of Costa del Sol ahead among today's 21.

Only the Costa del Sol comarca creates more companies than the Gran Bilbao comarca

A Leioa developer supplies a good deal more than half the money. The BORME, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, lists on 14 October NICSOL GAMA HOMES, based in Leioa and with 800,000 euros of share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company. It will develop and let property. That is 51 per cent of the 1,568,523 euros of the 42 new companies with published capital. Next come two holdings, companies whose business is holding shares in other companies, BELATZ INVESTMENT HOLDING in Bilbao, with 500,000, and MUBEN PRIVATE CAPITAL in Derio, with 125,400.
Incorporations go from 25 to 43 in seven days. The BORME of 8 and of 14 October registers 43 companies in the Gran Bilbao comarca, against 25 the week before, and capital rises from 900,500 to 1,568,523 euros.
Construction and property draw more newcomers. CONSTRUCCIONES Y REFORMAS BIMER opens in Basauri, and ALMA GURE PROIEKTUAK in Barakaldo and DALBO ACTIVOS in Zamudio will let property (BORME of the 8th). EMERANDO INVERSIONES in Mungia, LEKUBERRI NORTE and OBRAS ALZOLA in Bilbao, a broker in Getxo and a bricklaying company in Erandio complete the group (BORME of the 14th).

Bidding on the Bilbao flat ends today. A flat of about 105 metres in Bilbao remains in a court auction, a public sale ordered by a court, on the Portal de Subastas, the official website of the BOE, Spain's Official State Gazette, together with a garage with a storage room, in bidding without lots until today, Thursday 15.
Buyers after a Bilbao shop unit can bid until the 27th. The 33.5 metre commercial unit in Bilbao remains up for bidding until 27 October.
The Cruces shop units closed on the 7th. The auction of two shop units of about 28 and 30 metres in Cruces, in Barakaldo, has already ended.

Aena accepts proposals for the Loiu P1 until Monday 19

The Getxo office weighs six and a half times the car park

The P1 car park can still take offers for four days. Aena, the company that runs Spain's state network of airports and heliports, is tendering extra works for the fittings of the expanded P1 car park at the airport, in Loiu, tendered at 150,775.14 euros before VAT, in a public tender in which companies compete, with bids until Monday 19.
The Treasury decides who refurbishes its Getxo office. The Tesorería General de la Seguridad Social, the common service that collects contributions, is refurbishing its collection unit in Getxo, tendered at 974,941.42 euros before VAT. The deadline closed on 23 September and the administration is studying the bids.
Bidding for the emergency vehicle area is over. Aena tendered at 192,371.15 euros before VAT the preparation of an area for emergency vehicles. The deadline closed on 13 October.

Loiu and Santurtzi add up to ten resolved or awarded tenders

The port oil pipeline is worth more than the other four together

VILOR INFRAESTRUCTURAS will renew two airport lifts. Aena resolved the renewal of outdoor lifts A-19 and A-20 at the airport, tendered at 378,950.44 euros before VAT. The tender is over and VILOR INFRAESTRUCTURAS won it.
Waterproofing for the huts and control towers is settled. The waterproofing of the airport's huts and control towers, tendered at 124,931.50 euros before VAT, appears as resolved in the update of 8 October.
The Santurtzi oil pipeline is the biggest contract of all. The Autoridad Portuaria de Bilbao, the public body that runs the Port of Bilbao, hired a builder to divert the oil pipeline lines at the marine terminal in Santurtzi, tendered at 7,453,376.50 euros before VAT, and is replacing the glazing of its headquarters with GERTU ERAIKUNTZAK, tendered at 215,309.02 euros before VAT. In Sondika, another builder repairs the wall of the airport and the Larrabarrena park, tendered at 62,377.96 euros before VAT.
The airport has eight tenders closed. Aena has companies in place for the toilets, the adaptation for helicopters of taxiway D4, a defined path at an aerodrome for aircraft to taxi, and the anti-legionella installation. The SSEI training area, the airport's Rescue and Firefighting Service, has been awarded, the step in which the public body chooses the company, and the upgrading of the edges of several taxiways still has no company published.

Barakaldo puts up 900,000 euros and eight of the 38 grants are open calls

Barakaldo shares out 900,000 euros. Barakaldo publishes in the BDNS, the national grants database, the call, the notice that opens applications, for its municipal financial aid 2026, 900,000 euros for individuals until 6 November. INGURALDE, a municipal body, adds the Bonos Barakaldo, 210,000 euros that residents, SMEs and the self-employed can apply for until 14 November, once the shops have signed up.
Galdakao opens two calls. Galdakao puts up 50,000 euros for the emancipation of young people and 11,300 for associations that promote equality, with 15 working days, excluding weekends and holidays, from the day after their publication in the Boletín Oficial de Bizkaia.
Sestao, Ortuella, Getxo and Lanbide complete the list. Sestao calls 55,000 euros for sociocultural and festive activities. Ortuella closes on Thursday 15 a call for 3,000 euros for equipment for associations, and Getxo offers 51,870 to the federations of AMPA, the parents' associations of schools. Lanbide, the Basque Employment Service, opens for the whole Basque Country its grants for reducing unwanted part-time work 2026-2027.

Bilbao still has a flat, garage and shop premises on sale by court order, and in Barakaldo bidding on two Cruces shop units closed on the 7th. Aena welcomes offers for the P1 car park at the airport in Loiu, where it has closed or awarded eight tenders. In Sondika a builder has already been chosen for the Larrabarrena park wall. In Santurtzi, the port is replacing the glazing of its headquarters and diverting the oil pipeline at the marine terminal. The Social Security General Treasury is studying bids in Getxo. Barakaldo, Galdakao, Sestao, Ortuella and Getxo are calling their own grants. Quiet this week, without new companies, auctions, tenders or locally issued grant calls: Zierbena, Lemoiz, Gatika, Sopela, Urduliz, Etxebarri, Muskiz, Valle de Trápaga-Trapagaran, Barrika, Larrabetzu, Abanto y Ciérvana-Abanto Zierbena, Laukiz, Berango, Zaratamo, Plentzia, Maruri-Jatabe, Lezama, Gamiz-Fika and Usansolo.
