A Mungia property firm brings 9 of every 10 euros of the companies registered on 16 and 20 October

ARTAZA ACTIVOS INMOBILIARIOS starts out in Mungia with 1,000,000 euros, or 90 of every 100 euros brought by the 25 companies that the Gran Bilbao comarca added on 16 and 20 October. Bidders have until Tuesday 27 to make offers for 33 metres of ground floor shop space put on sale by a judge in the city of Bilbao. Until 11 November, the Port of Bilbao takes bids to light the Muelle AZ3, in Zierbena.

Mungia sees a property firm launch with one million, bringing 9 of every 10 euros of the companies of 16 and 20 October

The 25 new companies are spread across nine municipalities

Mungia hosts the million euro company. The Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies are published, registered 25 companies in the Gran Bilbao comarca on 16 and 20 October, with 1,112,340 euros of capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company. ARTAZA ACTIVOS INMOBILIARIOS is born in Mungia with 1,000,000 euros to buy, develop and refurbish property. It puts in 90 per cent of that capital.
Housing and bars also open for business. LASMARSI, which buys and sells property, registers in Bilbao with 9,000 euros and REFORMAS INTEGRALES SIGMA, in specialised construction, in Leioa with 100 euros. Four more new companies are in hospitality, three in Bilbao and the hotel ATALAYA SUMMUM in Getxo.

Zierbena launches a 1.4 million tender to light the port Muelle AZ3, open until 11 November

The oil pipeline takes 82 of every 100 euros of the port

Zierbena will have new lighting on the Muelle AZ3. The Autoridad Portuaria de Bilbao, the public body that runs the Port of Bilbao, published on 15 October the low voltage outdoor lighting works for the Muelle AZ3, in Zierbena. It is a licitación, a public tender, in which companies bid to carry out works or a service, tendered at 1,399,326.03 euros excluding VAT, that is, before tax.
Installers and builders have 20 days. Bids can be submitted until 11 November in file 10793/2026 on the Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders for works and services. The works are worth 5 times the firefighter training area that Aena, the company that runs Spain's state network of airports and heliports, marked as closed this week in Loiu.
Two Santurtzi port contracts are now assigned. The diversion of the oil pipeline at the marine terminal, tendered at 7,453,376.50 euros excluding VAT, already has a company chosen to carry it out, VIUDA DE SAINZ. The replacement of the glazing on the glass façade of the headquarters goes to GERTU ERAIKUNTZAK.

Loiu gets a practice ground for airport firefighters while the Tesorería fine tunes its Getxo refurbishment of almost a million

Getxo outweighs any of the airport works

Airport firefighters get a place to train. Aena updated on 15 October the training area for its rescue and firefighting service, in Loiu, tendered at 276,437.54 euros excluding VAT, as already commissioned to ESTUDIOS Y OBRAS RECALDE.
The same company repairs the Sondika wall. ESTUDIOS Y OBRAS RECALDE already had the repair of the airport perimeter wall and of the Larrabarrena park in Sondika, tendered at 62,377.96 euros excluding VAT, and another company the waterproofing of technical huts and control towers. The complementary works for the P1 car park, tendered at 150,775.14 euros excluding VAT, closed bidding on 19 October. The airport accounts for 10 contracts worth 2.9 million.
Getxo will renew its Treasury collection office. The Tesorería General de la Seguridad Social, the common service that collects contributions for Spain's Social Security system, has not yet chosen a company for the refurbishment of its enforced collection unit in Getxo, tendered at 974,941.42 euros excluding VAT. The deadline closed on 23 September.

The Gran Bilbao comarca ties for fourth place of the day in auctions

A small Bilbao shop unit takes bids for five more days. A court keeps the auction of commercial premises of about 33 metres in Bilbao on the auction website of the Boletín Oficial del Estado, the state gazette. It is a court auction, a public sale ordered by a court, and anyone who registers can bid until 27 October.
The flat and its garage have already closed. The auction of a home of about 105 metres in Bilbao closed on 15 October, as did the second item in the lot, the garage.

The Basque Government Economy department opens de minimis grants for companies to introduce corporate social responsibility

One in ten grants is registered as an open call

The Basque Government Economy department registers an open call. The Department of Economy, Labour and Employment of the Basque Government registered on 14 October in the Base de Datos Nacional de Subvenciones, the National Grants Database, the convocatoria, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, for its grants to introduce corporate social responsibility and employee participation, de minimis aid, small grants subject to a per company ceiling set by the European Union.
The SPRI moves its programme for large companies. The SPRI, the Basque Business Development Agency, which promotes industry, registered on 19 October Gauzatu Internacional for large companies. The register does not make clear whether it can be applied for.
Bilbao Ekintza backs BIME Bilbao 2026. The municipal body Bilbao Ekintza registered on 19 October a collaboration agreement with the Fundación Industrias Creativas for BIME Bilbao 2026, the music industry's professional gathering held in Bilbao.

Aena marked as resolved in Loiu the ground where the airport firefighters will train, has already commissioned in Sondika the repair next to the Larrabarrena park, and in Getxo the Treasury of Social Security keeps its office works pending. One judicial sale remains live in the city of Bilbao, for commercial premises of about 33 metres. Valle de Trápaga-Trapagaran signed a deal with the Ronda association for the farming and livestock culture of the mining area, with the amount allocated in advance. Abanto y Ciérvana-Abanto Zierbena, Portugalete, Galdakao, Sopela, Etxebarri, Arrigorriaga, Ortuella, Berango, Muskiz, Urduliz, Plentzia, Alonsotegi, Lezama, Larrabetzu, Gatika, Zaratamo, Lemoiz, Barrika, Laukiz, Gamiz-Fika, Usansolo and Maruri-Jatabe stayed off the radar of the business register, the courts and public procurement over this period.
